The AC Warehouse in Orem is closing on 8-3-21. They have been running 20% off total purchases for several days, but now it is 30% off everything while supplies last.
They have lots of cardstock packs and miles of patterned papers. Of course it is all older stuff, but $1.00 less 30% for 25 sheets of paper is worth the trip. There are also lots of embellishments for abt $1 each.
ETA: They are closed on Sun. and Mon.

I wonder if that's where all the extra Shimelle supplies are...?? I know she talked about how some of her older stuff is sitting in a warehouse while a lot of her fans would love to be able to buy it.

I have actually looked for Shimelle papers and haven't found much. I did find some of her embellishments, but not very many. You could spend hours looking through all that is there. It is an old Albertson's grocery and is clear full. I went to get some red cardstock and 2 women were loading a car with 2 huge grocery carts overflowing with scrapping materials. That didn't even make a dent in the inventory inside. I hate to see it close because it is perfect for making lots of cards. You can mess up a piece of paper and have 20 more just like it. The cards I donated last year were made mainly with the Warehouse paper.

I am sooo curious to know what's in there, just like joblackford. I hope someone vlogs from the warehouse and puts it on YouTube! Ugh, if someone finds the old AC BOOtiful Night line, I'm going to be so jealous. nylene Did you find any special treasures besides the dirt cheap paper? Have fun shopping, nearby Peas. Let us know what you got!

Worth the drive perhaps nylene ? Have you been there in the last few days?

I was there last week. It is huge. There are stacks of paper pads on pallets on the floor. That's where I have mainly looked. There are lots of PL cards, but they are probably older ones. What are you most interested in? I load up on cardstock colors for paper piecing.
If you want to drive down, I'd love to take you to lunch or pick up lunch if you are nervous about being in a restaurant. I'm free Fri, Sat or Tues.

Let us know what you got! I have never seen any Halloween papers and only very old Christmas papers. I mostly just look for cardstock and patterned paper and a few embellishments. I did get some WeR things like the envelope maker for $5 as they were closing last time. They have moved 3 times in Orem. That's a BIG move! They have punches, but I have enough of those. I don't trust the pens and adhesives because I have found them dried out. The first time they moved to a new location, a member of our card club dropped in just as they were about to close. They were already loading things in trucks. They told her she could fill her trunk for $5. She brought it all back to Card Club and shared. She took mostly AC Cardstock paper packs/boxes (spring, summer, etc) in 12x12. That was a wonderful buy.

What are you most interested in? I load up on cardstock colors for paper piecing. I am low on certain colors of cardstock. I have a couple photo boxes full of Project Life cards. If the price is low enough, I could get more. Any page protectors? Adhesive? Metal dies perhaps? Saturday could work! I would need to bring my two kids.
I recently got a stroller like this for my son link link . My daughter can push him around and I can buy stuff. He gets overwhelmed in public and he's calmer being pushed around. My body is a bit beat up at the moment too. It's a win for everyone.
I'd love to meet you for lunch, but I can pay especially since I'll have two people with me. We have all been fully vaccinated!
ETA: Lately I have been pulling the BUT you are going to Disney World, I can buy this!!! I did have a temporary job from April to June, so that helps to.

refupea, I'm sure you would find lots of colors of cardstock. I don't know the price of the AC packs of multiple colors, the boxed sets that at 12x12, but the 8.5x11 can be found in common colors in $1 packs. I think the big packs of PL cards are $5 or $7.50. I don't really know about page protectors. I usually just walk past the albums, etc. Once in a while they will have a die or 2, but not usually. I don't trust the adhesives because they are often old and dry. Bringing your children shouldn't be a problem. I'll PM you and we can meet up. I am going to run over to the warehouse today to see what they have currently. I don't want you to come this far if there is nothing you can use. I'll post again after I have taken a look. kellyr21, how I wish we could meet up and have lunch. I wish I were techno-savvy enough to show everyone what I find.

CORRECTION: AC WAREHOUSE will be open on Monday. That is a change. They have lost their lease, but will find a new place.
What I found: Large boxes of Becky Higgins PL cards (I counted 17 different themes)$8 or 3 for $20. Small boxes of PL Cards $4 or 3 for $10 6x6 pads $3 or 4 for $10 12x12 textured AC cardstock 48 to 60 ct $8.50 or 5 for $35 There are some page protectors, not a lot. Various prices Embellishments $1.50 or 10 for $10 Includes THICKERS. Mostly glittered and foam. Oh, I forgot to look at the dies. I saw a sign but didn't get over there. Many shoppers, but not crazy. Still lots of packs of patterned papers. $1.50 for 12-15 sheets or $3 for 20+ sheets.
Everything is 30% off.

They are looking for another place in this area. For a while they were in SLC, but they had better sales in the Orem area. I hope they find something soon.

I didn’t know where Orem is exactly but my husband just looked it up and said if I was really keen to go he would drive us down there… 14 hours each way! I would love to go on a road trip and see more of Oregon and Idaho and a tiny bit of Utah (and all the other places everywhere) but tbh I would get so overwhelmed by a warehouse sale. I don’t do well with pressure to make decisions, I get paralyzed. Sweet of him to say we could go though! And now I know where you are

joblackford, wow, that's a kind husband to offer to take that trip for scrapbook goodies. He's a keeper! It can be overwhelming. I usually go in for a specific item and come home with more, but I have never regretted my purchases. I just wish I had more room to put them all away. I always split my paper packs with my DD but I still have enough to keep scrapping for the rest of my life. I wish you were closer and you could at least come have lunch with refugeepea and me.

Wish I could join you two (with peachiceteas and joblackford) but alas, I'm a continent and a pandemic away. Would love to see your haul(s), ladies. I'll be cheerleading from the sidelines as you two look for some treasures over the weekend.

needtime2scrap , sleepingbooty , peachiceteas , and everyone else who commented above, I wish you were close enough to have a Pea Gathering at the Warehouse. Wouldn't that be fun! If we all filled our trunks there would still be lots left in the warehouse. I hope they find a new place soon. They usually do a big business just before the Holidays.

Actually Orem is just one long road! Yes it is! I was in Utah in 2016 visiting family and got to visit the warehouse sale when it was in the old K-Mart building. Would love a repeat visit, but nothing planned for this year as they are likely coming here. I worked in Provo from ‘74 to ‘84, lived in Springville. Gosh, things have changed - I would get lost now! Have fun, all you Orem SB shoppers!

Sadly, I did not make it to the sale yesterday. My son was up for over 24 hours and then he had a seizure. I'm trying for tomorrow. Hopefully, I can still see Nylene. We'll see.
