I start this injection today for my asthma. Just curious if anyone is on it, how they feel, etc
I'll be doing shots bi-weekly.

My daughter started on it a month ago. Hates the shots, but the results have been so amazing that she said she can suck it up. She has severe eczema that was causing blepharitis and eye inflammation that had caused loss of vision and was getting progressively worse. The eye specialist recommended it and within 7 days of the loading dose the patches of eczema on her forehead, ear, and chest were almost gone, but the best part was that you could see that the eye inflammation was receding. And, she said her eyes haven't felt this good in years. We see the eye specialist in a week, so I can't wait to see what he says. Hopefully, you get the same kind of results for your asthma.

I was to begin this summer after struggling to breath/smell/taste for 18 months. Not Covid related instead nasal polyps which was wreaking havoc on all things respiratory. Keep us posted on your progress

Well I got my loading dose (so double dose) and so far my Asthma is still bad. I get my biweekly shot this Friday and I'm really hoping it helps! I'm hoping it will just need to get into my system. My specialist is hopeful, he said it helps around 70-75% of people.
I've tried so many things and am losing hope so I am putting my hope into this!

tealpaperowl Are you still on Dupixent? How is it going? My 11 year old daughter has chronic eczema. We have tried everything the last 10 years. The dermatologist is suggesting Dupixent. I hate for her to do this bi-weekly. But I also hate to see her flared up and itching. I am out of options.

It has just recently been approved for children as young as 6. She gets a shot every 28 days. We have seen an improvement. It takes 2-3 days after the shot and it usually lasts to day 19 or 20. It by no means has cleared it completely but her dr hopes over the next year it will come close to clearing it up. We have not seen any improvement with her eye though. I’m so glad my DD took this route with my granddaughter.

I've been on it for a year now. A shot every 2 weeks for eczema and it's been a miracle drug for me! No side effects at all.
