There were a lot of early closures and slow service in Maine this year, too. Everyone is short staffed and supplies come slowly because the suppliers are short staffed, too.
(Changing topics, I’d like to discourage you from ever visiting Big Bend NP or the Marfa/Alpine area. I think you’d dislike it. )
I guess I wouldn’t not have expected a sit down meal or great internet service in a national park. Maybe that’s just me. I haven’t visited that many of them.
