Too funny as I’m rewatching Ted Lasso right now. I see directions including a video. It includes ingredients but not amounts especially since they added almond flour but no amounts I assume they are replacing some of the ratio of flour with almond flour but how much? They went to so much effort to be missing this.

I had absolutely no idea who Ted Lasso was or what was special about his biscuits, but now I have this recipe pinned and I need to find the show. Thanks again, peas.

The second season is dropping episodes, we haven't started to watch yet bc that drives us crazy. LOL. He's really an endearing, positive character.

They went to so much effort to be missing this. I hate watching videos for recipes! I scrolled down to the bottom and the whole recipe was posted there: EQUIPMENT Food Processor 8×8 pan 4.5" Offset Spatula (optional but very handy) INGREDIENTS 1.5 cups all purpose flour 1/2 cup almond flour 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)* cut into cubes, chilled (when warmer weather) or soften (when colder weather), see Recipe Updates section for more detials. 1/2 tsp sea salt 1 tsp vanilla extract INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350˚F. Put AP flour, almond flour and sugar & salt in food processor and pulse to combine. Add butter & vanilla extract and pulse until it resembles coarse meal. Butter an 8×8 pan, pour everything into the pan, flatten with a offset spatula. Then, press firmly with your hands & spatula. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes at 350˚F until lightly browned. Check at 30 min. mark. Let it chill until cool. It can take a while so be patient! NOTES * 2 sticks unsalted butter + 1/2 tsp salt can be replace with 2 sticks of salted butter. However, unsalted butter + salt makes it taste better!

Oh gosh this is awesome!! We watched the first season 2 weekends ago. Glad to know the dropping. I like to watch it all at one time. When we watched the first season, it was one of our super hot weekends. So it was a very sweet thing to watch. I dint guess I ever thought they were shortbread cookies. I thought the way they were cut, they were ooey gooey bars. These I would make!

I love Ted Lasso. I re-watched S1 in anticipation of S2. It's the first thing I do after dinner on Friday nights. Then I watch Schmegadoon and Physical. I'm really enjoying these AppleTV shows.

Since we are talking about the show too-I know some of you are waiting to watch, but I have to say that episode 3 really got to me. It was a 10/10 as far as the episodes go.

Thanks, Bridget in MD and disneypal. I’ll have to text my DS to find out if I have Apple TV. I don’t particularly like watching videos, and I don’t have any almond flour. So I pinned the recipe in bc2ca’s post. No almond flour. I do have a friend who makes shortbread with rice flour, though. It is the food of the gods.

I read the premise and layout of this show after reading all the pea live about it, and it has a very similar premise storyline to the movie Major League!
In Major League, a bitter, “bitchy” wife (I think deceased husband) takes over the Cleveland Indians baseball team, hires a “has been” to help tank the team so she can move what’s left of the team to Miami where she can be a socialite. Players are similar to the roles described on Ted Lasso!
I’ll have to give this a watch—I didn’t see any episodes only because I really do not like Jason Sudakis!
