As a spinoff of this thread, in what room(s)/area(s) of your home do you store scrap supplies? For those who also (primarily) scrapbook at home, do you scrap in the (or one of the) same room(s)/area(s) where your supplies are stored? TIA.

I am in a studio apt. Rectangle shaped.
My scrapbook area is in a back corner. Rectangle folding table and three tiered rectangle rolling cart. I have a 2.5ft x 8 ft sliding door closet on a front side wall. My rolling supply carts reside there, in front of a couple of stationary household storage shelves that hold extra paper goods, small appliances, extra pans, etc...). I have everything in 13 x 13 plastic envelopes, so I just retrieve what I need (Travel, Biirthday, pink papers, green papers, polka-a-dots & stripes, etc...) and bring those envelopes over to my workspace.

In my craft room. It is also my "alone" room. LOL. I need alone time sometimes. The only one allowed is my dog.

In my bedroom, the hall closet, the family room. OY VEY! I am a kitchen table scrapbooker with limited space. I watch how to videos and read about storage systems but to be honest I stick everything in Iris containers (so at least it doesn't get bent). Now that my daughter is older and doesn't watch tv much (she watches everything on her phone now) I want to make part of my family room into a scrapbook space.

I have a combined craft room and home office so my scrapping supplies are stored there except for albums, both empty and filled, which are in another room.

As a digital scrapbooker, all of my supplies are in a small 13 inch storage device called a MacBook! When I was a paper scrapper, all of my supplies were in my study / craft room, which is where I did my scrapping. I am currently scrapping outside, sitting on the outdoor lounge, by the fire.

In my studio. I used to have my studio in our room above the garage but there was not a door on that room. I want/need a door for my alone time. So, when the girls moved out, I took "A's" room as it has a massive walk-in closet that is L-shaped. I use the closet as a workroom where supplies are stored, where my trimmer is, etc. Then the rest of the room is my art studio. I have a sewing cabinet in the sewing area, my grandmother's old art table for my art, and my Scrap 'n Cube for my other crafty stuff. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my room plus I have my own bathroom in there too.

I have a craft room/office since work at home. But sometimes I will pull my stuff out into the dining room as my craft room has no windows. Sometimes you just need a little sunshine.

My desk is in my room but lately I’ve wanted to scrap while watching tv before bed with family so I have a mess on the living room floor where I’ve been crafting. I’ll probably clean it up at Xmas when I get my trees out.

When we moved into this house earlier this year, DH decided that we didn't need a family room AND a living room AND a screen room so the 'family' room is our living room now and the living room is my craft room. All of my supplies and albums are in there and it's where I work. There's no door and it's right off the front foyer so once people can come over again, I'll need to keep it neat but I mostly do anyway

I store and craft in the same room. Our finished basement, my part is 12x24... which is still not big enough LOL!

Right now, I scrapbook at one end of the living room. My most used supplies are there. I have my Iris cases of embellishments and some collections, plus my albums stored in our lower level.
When we move next year, I am taking the 12 x 12 L off the family room for my scrap area. I have a walk in closet with shelves nearby, so I'll have everything closer to me.

I'm in the finished basement. Zero windows, but at least I have my own space. I onw about half of the 12x17 room with my son...he moved his bed/desk down there a few years ago to have a space more his own.
I NEED all my scrapbook supplies near me when I scrapbook - it's how my mojo flows.
Our house is terribly tiny for our family. We are wall to wall furniture/storage in every room of the house.

I have everything in a space in my basement, which isn't my first choice due to concerns about potential flooding/disasters, but it's the only space we have in this tiny house.

For the first 20 years of scrapbooking, I lived in a small 3 bedroom home. I had no scrapbook room. I had no dedicated scrapbook area. Like a squirrel, I had my supplies stored wherever I could find a spot. I often scrapbooked on a large cutting board on my lap, with a crop bag next to me with the supplies I needed for that layout. I often met with friends at the LSS. It was free to use the crop room during the day, as long as no classes were scheduled. Since the classes tended to be in the evenings, we rarely had a problem when we wanted to use the crop room. When the LSS closed, we scheduled a room at the library.
We moved to another state, where homes are more affordable. I have an actual, dedicated scrap space with shelves, a closet, and an even larger stash. It’s much nicer, and so much easier to scrapbook, make cards, or whatever I want when I have the time and inclination.

In our unfinished basement. I have a relatively large area, which is good and bad. Stuff can be too spread out and I need to reorganize and purge. I would love to be upstairs but I don't have an area to use.

I've been stuck in the basement for over 13 years, ever since DS#2 was born. It works because I have plenty of space and because the rest of the family is never down there except when doing some school work. The biggest downsides are the fact that it's freezing down there in the winter, and that rain water can seep up through the floor when the ground is completely saturated. Things are set up and stored to protect against water, but I get lazy on dry times and then have to scramble to get stuff out of harms way.
But I like that I can spread out and be alone so it's all good.

I have my supplies and scrapbook upstairs in our loft area at the top of the stairs. It isn't a large area, but I have space for 2 sitting chairs, small bookcase that doubles as the TV stand, my desk which is quite big, a 5x5 Kallax unit and a Raskog cart. I think I created a cute space that functions well. I do have to keep it clean, but I'm not a messy scrapper anyways.
My large rolling tote and some other travel storage items are kept in the basement. Unfortunately I haven't been to a crop in 4-5 years so those items don't get used, but I have them in case the chance arises.

I have half of our spare bedroom/home office that holds all my scrap stuff. It's a 10x8 room so I have to regularly purge stuff so I don't overwhelm the shared space.

We have an unattached garage with a finished space above it that I eventually plan to use for my scrapbook room. We had it finished (drywalled, electric, H&C, and flooring) when my ds was in college and lived at home but wanted privacy. We had intended to use it as a guest room but decided it would make a perfect craft room. It's bigger than I need so last year during WFH I partitioned off some of the space for storage, with a big walk in closet. I don't get to scrap much because work. But when I retire it will be a nice getaway. After much cleaning/organizing.

We have a playroom that has my scrapbook desk and a couple other storage things, but I store my page protectors in DS's closet on a shelf because I don't have room for it. The scrapbooks are stored around the house, but mostly on two IKEA shelves that are almost full. :X

Right now my supplies are in a Kallax in the home office, but since my partner has started working from home, he has taken over both desks in the room so I am a kitchen table scrapper. It's not far to go get the supplies, but they aren't right there either. I am hoping to put a small desk in the loft this fall so that I have a dedicated space of my own, but that means my supplies will be much further away. I suspect it will lead to a slow move of supplies upstairs, if I don't just relocate everything at once.

When we built this house, this year, I specifically made a spare bedroom into my scrap room. I store everything in there and do all my scrapping in there.
