It's bad when your home town paper runs a editorial against you!!

Madison Cawthorn has moved from awful to alarming. Time to pay attention.

Few of us want to pay attention to Madison Cawthorn.

In less than a year in Washington, the freshman representative from North Carolina has built the wrong kind of national reputation with allegations of sexual assault, a steady drip of misinformation, and far too many palm-to-face-moments. Just last week, Cawthorn proudly proclaimed that he had “formally requested that the U.S. cabinet invoke the 25th Amendment” and remove President Joe Biden, although that’s not something a U.S. representative can “formally” do. That request also misspelled the name of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Such antics leave Democrats incredulous and at least some Republicans shaking their heads. For all, Cawthorn is a somber and regular reminder that our country has grown so polarized that Republican voters felt compelled to pull the lever for a candidate with a glaringly thin resume and a bloated history of lying.

At a county GOP gathering in Western North Carolina on Sunday, Cawthorn repeated false claims that the 2020 election was rigged, then suggested that there could be “bloodshed” if such election fraud continued. Video from the Macon County event shows Cawthorn telling a small gathering that “we all know it was a stolen election.” That apparently includes North Carolina’s race for governor, which Cawthorn suggested was won by Republican Dan Forrest, although election results showed Gov. Roy Cooper with a 250,000-vote margin of victory.

TOPLINE Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) sent a letter to Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday urging her to begin the process of removing President Joe Biden from office – but the right-wing lawmaker made at least one glaring error in the letter: misspelling Harris’ name.

The committee has only asked for the records to be secured.

But it was ok for dis-barr-him and former had no problem getting all the reporters' phone logs and also sitting members of Congress including Eric Swalwell..I don't remember who else... And the list goes on..

Not that I support Blankenship under normal circumstances, but this is good!! He DID serve a year for a misdemeanor....

On Friday, NBC 6 Miami reported that 15 staffers and educators in the Miami-Dade County school system have died of COVID 19 — just in the past ten days.

"Sonia Diaz, a spokesperson for several unions in the school district, confirmed the number of deaths to NBC 6," reported Johnny Archer. "Miami-Dade County Public Schools resumed classes on Aug. 23, and it's unknown when the employees contracted COVID-19."

As Florida experiences some of the worst COVID-19 numbers in the country, even surpassing its death toll at the height of last summer's wave, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has continued to attack mask mandates, seeking to prohibit school districts around the state from enacting them — even as some districts in Republican strongholds acknowledge the need for mask rules.

Boebert .... False Delta variant claims...


Congresswoman Lauren Boebert on Wednesday deleted a tweet in which she downplayed the threat posed by the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, previously known as B.1.617.

"The easiest way to make the Delta variant go away is to turn off CNN. And vote Republican," the Colorado Republican wrote on the social media platform.

"Lauren Boebert proves once again that stupidity has a champion in Colorado," said Colorado state lawmaker Steven Woodrow in response.
