Oh, another question. What are y’all using these days to clean your shower doors? I squeegee after every shower, but I haven't personally had to clean them myself since I moved in. Thank you! What type of doors do you have? The all glass enclosure we installed called for specific cleaners. The housekeeper uses Soft Scrub and a sponge. In between we use Method Shower cleaner and a squeegee Thank you, I'll look into soft scrub. I just have standard builder shower doors that were installed when the building was developed from a school to a condo building.

Blue Dawn and hot white vinegar. Do you have a ratio you would recommend. And does it have to be blue Dawn? I just use Seventh Generation dish soap.

I squeegee every time I use my shower, then use Rejuvenate on my glass shower enclosure weekly. Once in a while I use a 50/50 vinegar and water solution, if I feel like it is getting cloudy. Thank you, and especially for the ratio, super helpful!

Do you have hard water? In the past we've lived in areas with really hard water. The cleaning method I found that worked best was to do a 50/50 mix of Borax and a powdered cleaner. In the past I actually used Calgon water softener (powdered) but that formulation was discontinued. Now Borax is about as close as you will get.

Rain-x! For the glass shower doors we each squeegee after showering. Once every couple of weeks I clean the glass with Rain-x spray, which has a built-in water repellent to make hard water less likely to stick. It’s magic.

I bought a cordless stick vac with attachments over the holidays when they were on sale. It’s been very handy to vacuum up the dust on baseboards and the corners of the rooms. I even vacuumed the blinds. So much quicker and easier than trying to dust them.

Another old thread alert. I wish we had a button so anyone could tag the old threads that get bumped by bots.

Another old thread alert. I wish we had a button so anyone could tag the old threads that get bumped by bots. Until we do, perhaps somebody who notices one could tag the original poster so she could label it by adding OLD! in the title? I'll admit that I don't always just LOOK at WHEN the thread was started, which would probably eliminate the problem for me, personally--except for when it's an interesting topic that I think may have had something worthwhile added, and I get FOMO.
