 This is such sad news. Edited to add; re the eviction, when my Mom passed we had very little time to remove her things. We had 4 days to get everything dispersed. It was incredibly hard. It's just cruel that bergdorfblonde would have to move after.
Is it because the lease was in your mom's name?
Bergdorf's apartment must be in her husband's name? I don't understand..

My Mom lived in co-op housing. The board that ran it was terrible. My Mom died right before Christmas so they harassed us to get her stuff out. Plus some of her neighbours came in trying to take things! It was a terrible time.
Maybe bergdorfblonde can get the lease in Gary's name?

Oh my!! I must have missed something, but why would she have to move when Gary passes?! I don’t remember but I wonder it’s a senior citizen complex? That’s just speculation on my part. cindyupnorth eta For those asking about the housing situation… she says they had moved to a larger apartment so adult kids were able to live with them. They were helping with expenses while they were there, but have since moved out. They’ve been making it work, but things were already tight, even with Gary’s income. |
