(Quickly popping in here!) Things have been really busy with Gary, so I haven't had much time to check in...... THANK YOU ALL whom have posted sweet thoughts to us both, and to those whom have sent gifts or cards. I've lost my grip in thanking you each personally over the past few days. I promise to try to get to it when I can. Gary has been needing a LOT of care, 24/7. He's having pain in his back (1 spot of his bone cancer), and I'm reminded that this is only the beginning. Trying to get ahold of his Oncologist regarding pain meds, but no one is available due to the holiday weekend. I'll keep trying. Thank you all again, and a HUGE thank-you to my sweet jenjie for doing this. Hope you are all well and you are enjoying the holiday. xoxo |

Unfortunately I have to begin clearing out the apt to move quickly or I'll get evicted wn he passes @bergdorfblonde.... Aside from ALLL the horrible things you and Gary are going through, I was shocked to learn of the added stress of you being evicted! I pray that yours and/ or his families and friends in New York that can can down and help!!! But also---since you're caring for him so much more now, is it possible your insurance would pay for a nurse aide?** I'm sure you're not getting ANY rest, plus, you've mentioned before that you're also in severe pain. I am praying fervently that you and Gary can get some much-needed assistance !!!! (( hugs ))) **there are also NON-nursing aides that can come and help with things like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, even spending time with Gary while you run out to the store or pharmacy. *** jenjie...Thank you for being such a dear friend to B.Blonde! I so appreciate you updating us AND replying to soooo many individual PMs for those of us who want her address. This must be difficult for you, especially because of your history with your dear husband. Lots of (( hugs )) to you, too! |
