Hello friends! I'm excited to bring you the second sketch for SKETCHtember! This sketch is from Amy at 4x6 photo sketch blog. I love her sketches and this probably won't be the last you will see of her sketches. And the TWIST: You do the Math! You will be adding 2 or more photos to this sketch! I added my photos by using adhesive photo flip pockets which added 4 more photos to my layout. You can add 2 or more photos however you like. The first photo is the whole layout, the second photo is with the flip pockets lifted so you can see them. You do not need to be on a team to play, but if you ARE looking for points... Take TWO points for using the sketch. Take ONE point for taking on the “addition” twist. Take a BONUS of FIVE points for doing BOTH on one project. Make sure to take a look at the SKETCHtember Challenge thread to find out about the possibility of winning PRIZES!

I love two page sketches, with lots of room for photos! Think I even have some flip flaps around here somewhere. But there also seems to be some "empty" space that some tiny photos could sneak into. Hmmm...

Thank you - this one will definitely be a challenge especially on my smaller 8.5x11 pages but I'll do my best to shoehorn 2 more pictures on there

I'm a big fan of pages with spaces for 4x6 photos as I still have quite a lot of travel photos to scrap. Your layout is fab jediannie. I often find it difficult to pair papers with old buildings, but I love how your patterns pick up on the colours but don't overwhelm your photos.

Wow, what a great sketch! I can't wait to start. Unfortunately I have this little thing called WORK that prevents me from starting right now.

This one required lots of cropping of photos - no 4x6's left - but I got 8 photos on it. It's not exactly like the sketch due to the smaller canvas (8.5x11) but I think it's fairly close

I love the twist! I print most of my pics 3x4 so I shouldn’t have any issues adding extras.

Love all your flower photos, Linda . Great adaptation of this sketch. Not sure if jediannie will give me the TWIST points on mine. I added two photos--a 4x4 at the bottom right and split the original 4x6 at the top of that page to add halves of two separate photos. Done! Except that at the last minute I substituted a separate 4x4 photo for the end of the one with her on her bike (which was just a blurry pic of the laneway behind their trailer).
ETA points: two pages created & shared (4). SKETCHtember #2 sketch (2) plus twist (1) plus bonus (5). R-3 Nine photo (9) and two pages (10) for the Donna challenge. P-3 Three pp's (3), P-4 roses (1), p-8 Papers are over 8 years old (5), P-12 four diecuts (4), S/I-2 seven rectangular pic's (7), T-4 stamped the date (1), T-6 inked edges each page (2), W/T journaling (1), Th-4 outdoors (2), Th-5 my dgd's favourite things (2), N/S-1 nine photos (1), N/s-4 three small photos (3). TOTAL: 63

Part of it is I really love butterfly photographs, and butterflies in general.

I love that linda and grammadee both used PINK for their layouts! Mine is brown (again) as I use up the rest of the PinkFresh Real Genius papers. I did the right side of the layout. My work laptop keeps shutting off on me, so I can't work from home today. Oh well. LOL

Thank you all. angel97701 - I love butterflies and butterfly pics too. grammadee - great camping pics and I think the pinks are great behind them - love that bike paper That bike paper has been in my stash for awhile, waiting for some pic's that would work with it. The rest of the papers (except for the kraft background) I chose to pick up the colours in the bike paper rather than the photos. Both the plaid and the bike pp have blues and greens and yellows in them, that do fit the photos, and then I added the yellow, but I guess the pink is determined to stand out.
Bike riding was a huge part of her experiences at that campsite and I had several photos, but none very good ones, so I ended up with only one of them.

MDscrapaholic, I love those papers! Have some in my stash if I haven't already used them for one of my dgs's pages. You used them wonderfully here. Love that you included a pic of him with his younger sibling on a back to school page.

Hee hee! I just realized I have to switch those two skinny photos. Totally planned to have that poor dragon going all one way with his head at the front and the tail at the back... Guess they got reversed in the gluing!

I love this paper collection. I’ve never seen it before- is it too old to find in shops? I'm sorry, that's not a PinkFresh collection, it's a Photoplay collection. Scrapbook.com says it's discontinued. Amazon has the sticker sheet!

Linda gorgeous photos and I love them paired with the pink! MDscrapaholic I love this collection with your photos and I love it turned into a single page. grammadee I hadn't noticed the dragon was all chopped up until you pointed it out and it's totally something that would bug me in my own albums. Leaving you praise in the gallery.

linda, what magic is this to put so much into 8 1/2 by 11? What a beautiful celebration of nature. grammadee, the bike strip! And your perfect embellishments. But my favorite element is the photo of the hand drawn map, How sweet is that? Glad you got your dragon going the right way. MDscrapaholic first off congratulations on the back to school! We got 4 inches of Ida here. The schools let out just a tiny bit early just in case. I like the educational gears and formulas. Smart! Chinagirl828 so elegant a paper for such classic and elegant photos. And your photos do the architecture such justice! I feel like I've had a tour. AussieMeg I love the cone paper and embellishments! And the colors. And your happy, yummy photos. Nice! jediannie thanks so much for the sketch and your example. I enjoyed a peak into your Rhine tour. Some year...... This sketch was PERFECT for me because my layout ended up using two cuties tucked underneath. They will be included in my album without appearing on the internet.

jjpeapea is that blue a glitter paper? I love the effect, especially with the row of blue gems on top, and so perfect for a page about the 4th. schroema gorgeous take on the sketch, and your clusters are just lovely.
