I just finished making another batch of taco soup. I seem to make this a couple of times a month, and one pot will last me well over a week. I separate it out into individual servings in sealer bags and pop them into the freezer. It is so nice to have something homemade that I just have to heat in the microwave. I change the ingredients sometimes and also change what I add to it as a topping, depending on what I have on hand.
I also keep the majority of the ingredients in the house so whipping up a batch is pretty easy. The only thing I need to run out for is fresh cilantro. And I've made it without and it is fine. I just prefer it with cilantro. I wonder how it would be if I chopped and froze the cilantro and added it to the main soup instead of using it as a topping? I have extra right now because it comes in 3 bunch bags so I think I'll try that this time.
What dish do you find you repeat more than any others? Or that your family keeps asking for? It doesn't have to be a dinner item either.

I think I've made taco soup 1x!. so interesting. Mine would be stroganoff. I make this about 3x a month. It's super easy to make after work, and enough to last for 2 nights.

I don’t think I’ve ever made taco soup! I make beef stroganoff a couple times a year at least - in the winter - everyone loves it.
My most common dinner is coconut curry chicken over rice. Or butter chicken in the instant pot.
Lately though I also make a lot of quesadillas and paninis for lunches while boys are home from college.

Depends on the season.
Fall it would be honey mustard chicken, yams, green beans, and cranberry orange muffins.
Winter it would be my vegetable soup.
Spring would be whole roasted chicken with vegetables.
Summer it would be Buddha bowls.

It’s a toss up between chicken Caesar salad and a copycat recipe for P.F. Chang’s chicken lettuce cups.

PW's slow cooker Taco Soup is definitely one of my most repeated meals. BBQ chicken salad is also at the top of the repeat list as it has something for everyone.
When I make soup, I portion it out into large mugs for easy reheating. I cover the mugs with Saran wrap and keep in the fridge.

Tacos
We have tacos pretty much every week.
We have spaghetti pretty much every week, too.
They’re both easy, fast, and cheap.

a chicken curry is probably my family's most requested meal - and one of the few everyone loves.
My most frequent meal? we have some variation of charcuterie or ploughman's every week pretty much...yesterday was a simple take and bake bread, 2 cheeses (edam and havarti), and pickles. Sunday's is a bit more elaborate - dill dip, pickles, cashews, 4 cheeses (the two leftover from Friday plus 2 new ones), strawberries, crackers, cucumbers, carrots, and mini tomatoes on the vine.

We do shift what we eat by season but street tacos show up year round.
Our favorites are fish, shrimp, Korean beef and Greek.

It used to be beef stroganoff! Or a toasted Italian bread, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil sandwich (I’d eat them every day that I could!)
However since finding that I’m allergic to wheat, it’s just not the same!
So I guess Buddha bowls. Salads, veggies chicken , steak. I vary the ingredients and switch up dressings.
I haven’t had pasta, lasagna, spaghetti, noodles (I miss noodles!) in almost 2 years 😳

I asked DH what he thought we had the most often, and he said pasta. But I try to mix it up as far as how it is served. We have a lot of pasta recipes we like, it just depends on what other ingredients are on sale when I make the shopping list.

We have tacos once a month or so. That’s probably our most common, though they aren’t the same tacos every time.

Not really a dinner eater but what I often have for a meal is Botan rice, hard fried eggs and very sharp cheddar cheese. Raw pea pods on the side. Or chicken Katsu - rice with scrambled eggs, crunchy Panko chicken breast strips, could be fried but I bake them a drizzle of YumYum sauce over the whole thing. I am pretty much a white or light colored eater. People make fun of me but I like my food.

Tacos. I try not to do them every week, so more like every other. That still seems like I'm repeating them too often, but tacos are the favorite meal of everyone here.

We get Hello Fresh three out of every four weeks. On my off weeks, I tend to make comfort food like spaghetti, lasagne, and tacos.

It’s changed since my girls were young and home - spaghetti would be most often. Now I would say tacos because I love them and they are fast and easy. I make a lot of soup- usually weekly but I rotate through about 5 favorites so I guess that isn’t really the same thing.

I’m eating paleo so right now it’s actually Aidell’s chicken sausage with sauerkraut for something quick and easy. Black pepper chicken, which is also pretty quick. I double the veggies and leave them on the crunchy side so they don’t get too soft when reheating. iheartumami.com/black-pepper-chicken/

We have grilled chicken/spinach/fruit/goat cheese and homemade balsamic vinegar salad 1 to 3 times a week. Our second most frequent meal is sweet potato tacos (sweet potatoes and spinach and black beans and meat, and cheese and avocado, no tortilla.) It’s just as easy to make 4 (or 6) meals as it is one so we freeze the extras and they’re perfect for super easy zero effort meals. Salmon - maybe with stir fry vegetables. We also have salmon, once a week. Trying to gather lots of different healthy, but delicious ways to prepare it that DH can enjoy as he’s not a huge fan.

How do you hold it together without a tortilla? Or do you eat it from a bowl?

I make red beans and rice a few times per month. I always have sliced smoked sausage but will rotate adding shrimp or chicken.
We also have breakfast for dinner quite often. Eggs, bacon and french toast or pancakes.
