When you wear workout leggings, such as for yoga? I got so tired of the leggings pulling my granny panties down I tried it, and it changed my life, BUT, I don’t want to be flashing my lady bits during downward facing dog. (When wearing lighter colored leggings)

I do not, but my exercise leggings also don't pull down my granny panties, lol. So I haven't seen the need.

No, get thinner more comfortable panties. The reason I wear them is so I don't have a camel toe at the gym. Though I hear that's a good thing to have nowadays, lol

Well, I don't do yoga. But this summer I did start going commando when biking or running. I never realized that women's bike shorts are designed to not be worn with underwear and the primary purpose is to avoid saddle sores after riding long distances. In my head I translated this to running as well because after so many miles, you can start to get the same kind of friction and rubbing plus the shorts are similarly designed. I tried it out and I do find it a lot more comfortable. I also use an anti-chafing gel specifically designed for women - it has a ridiculous name. It's called Hoo Ha Ride Glide. There, that's probably a lot more information than you wanted to know! I don't find flashing or camel toe to be an issue.

Yes but I don’t have lighter colored leggings. ^^^ that's me, too. I typically wear darker colors- gray, black, or a darker patterned leggings or workout shorts. eta: when I first started working out, I did wear underwear underneath them, but my personal trainer said 'you know they're designed so you don't have to do that, right' and no, I didn't know that, but I was glad to find out- I think wearing underwear underneath tight-fitting stretchy shorts / leggings is extremely uncomfortable... they bunch/pull in odd ways.

I don't wear leggings. EVER. LOL They don't stay up for me. My waist is much smaller than my rump, so they never fit right. My thighs and calves are large too. I look like a sausage crammed into stretchy material. It's not a good look. LOL I either wear joggers, or a bootcut workout pant with a drawstring. They are usually heavy enough material that it doesn't matter what kind of underwear I have on. Plus the fact that I workout at home and no one sees me in them helps too.

I also think it is super uncomfortable and awkward and have always assumed you weren’t supposed to wear any / plus I really can’t stand the look of a panty line. I’m surprised so many people wear them - another thing I’ve learned here!

I only wear underwear when I’m wearing a dress.
Wearing underwear with pants seems redundant to me.
I’m shopping right now commando 😛

I have nothing but black leggings and bike shorts. I wear underwear with it, no problems.

I never go commando, even with leggings and workout clothes. After a hard workout, my underwear is soaked with sweat. At least with underwear on I don’t have those sweaty butt marks on my leggings. 😆 I don’t mind panty lines. 😁

I find that underwear is made of much softer material than any leggings or pants that I have ever had so I would definitely always protect the delicate skin from much rougher fabrics. I have never worn anything quite as tight as bicycle shorts so I don’t know about that. I do know that a lot of leggings have a seam that might be irritating without underwear.

I have to always wear underwear - even it night or it just feels really wrong to me. I don’t wear granny panties so I don’t have your issue. I just wear my regular underwear under workout clothes because I’m at home. Sometimes I do wear a thong if anyone is going to have a good view of my rear when I workout out of the privacy of my home.

I go commando. All workout clothes are dark. Until my late 30s when I got pregnant, I was full-time commando.

Yep. I am a hiker and backpacker and go commando b/c there is nothing worse than trekking 10 miles per day with a heavy pack and getting some chaffing from underwear rubbing wrong.

I wear soma vanishing edge panties and they work well. But I also don’t wear light colored leggings. They are not forgiving enough for me.

No. I want my underpants to absorb sweat so I don't have visible swamp ass.

I cycle mainly so I don't wear underwear- you're asking for saddle sores!
That said, I only wear black pretty thick leggings so there's little chance of too much visibility.

All the kids want a fat kitty now and I'm not typing that word out lol. Like a fat ass is a good thing, but you also apparently need a fat wet juicy taco and you advertise such with your camel toe. It's a whole thing. 😜

It’s pretty inexpensive and works really well.

NEVER. Gross.
Now having said that, I can’t stand wearing anything tight like that either so you also wouldn’t catch me in exercise leggings, tight yoga pants or bike shorts ever. Lycra is not my friend. I honestly don’t give a crap if someone sees my panty lines, and since I typically don’t wear anything that tight it usually isn’t ever a huge issue anyway.
I totally agree with the comment that the seams in the pants, leggings, shorts, whatever would irritate me far more than my underwear does. I also agree that the underwear absorbs the sweat so there isn’t visible swamp ass.

No. I've always worn a panty shield, and I prefer to do so with underwear. In my younger days, it was preference, nowadays(menopause) it's necessary. TMI - Why didn't the menstruation filmstrip in 5th? 6th? grade, mention that later in life >> you will pee your pants a little every time you cough too hard, sneeze or laugh uncontrollably.
