My challenges this month are for you to create cards with scenes on them. You can create your scenes however you want: stamps, die cuts, ink blending, stickers, watercolour, anything. Today's challenge is to do an autumn scene. The twist is to include a pumpkin. Here is my sample made using a Hero Arts stamp set and ink blending. CARDtober 16

justjac thank you for the autumn scene challenge! I love the different moods of your Hero Arts inspired cards. I've used these scored and cut leaves before here, but I just really get a smile out of how they look as a big pile of leaves.

Great card, justjac, and I love your shading/inking. jjpeapea, that is a fun card, and I agree that a pile of leaves is a perfect representation of fall. I was going to stamp my scene, I even got out the stamps, but before I got going, I browsed the Silhouette Design Store and came across a box card that had an autumn scene that I loved. It even had pumpkins. It required no talent on my part, just cutting and gluing. Since it’s been a good but very tiring week, I went for it.

jjpeapea I love those beautiful fall leaves. scrapnnana I think using your silhouette requires talent. I certainly don’t use mine to it’s full advantage like you do. What a wonderful box card.

justjac, thank you for the challenges you have posted. I have really enjoyed them and it has forced me to pull out some hardly used stamps. Your card is wonderful. I love that inked background. You have love in the gallery. jjpeapea, I love the scattering of every color of fall leaves along the bottom. The pumpkin and the sentiment makes this a beautiful autumn card. scrapnnana, I love your box card. Even with a pattern, interactive cards are not always easy. This one is so fun. It takes talent to put some of them together! So cute. Here is mine. I have used the same tree for all 3 seasons cards. It has been fun to use some long unused stamps. Pumpkin Patch Fall Card

scrapnnana “just cutting and gluing” I have to smile, it looks so great and I get glue challenged - I got the special glues with the needle tips so it’s better but still sometimes goes awry. nylene so glad you used that stamp. That bear has such soulful eyes. He’s still staring at me. Cute card. iowagirl50147. Yes, the scary cat and bat eyes are very effective. Yikes, so cute.

nylene, I love how you have used the same tree stamp for each season. And I love the way you made this one a Halloween scene. It’s an adorable card. iowagirl50147, that is a very spooky, fabulous Halloween card.

It’s really nice to see how different the same stamp set can look. Great shading and card, azcrafty .

azcrafty lovely sunset effect! Seeing your card with the Hero Arts set compared to justjac showed me how versatile that can be in the right hands. They're so different and both so great.
