I'm in a terrible slump for menu planning... so am looking for inspiration.
What's your favourite recipe that was shared by a Pea?
Years ago, someone shared the Mississippi Pot Roast recipe (sorry, I don't remember who!) and it became part of our rotation, it's delicious.
I'll share two of mine, that I haven't seen on here, but I could be wrong!
Sticky Chicken
3 lbs chicken wings split 2 eggs - beaten 1 c flour 1 c butter Dip each wing in the eggs, then flour and fry in the butter until brown (but not necessarily cooked all the way through) Once they're all browned put in 9X13 cake pan or roaster.
Mix the following together and bring to a boil in the microwave. 3 tbsp soya sauce 3 tbsp water 1/2 cup white vinegar 1 cup white sugar 1/2 tsp salt Pour over the browned chicken wings and place in 350 oven, no lid. Cook for approximately 1 hour, being sure to stir every 15 minutes. The sauce thickens up and it's delicious, honest!
Stuffing Balls - always a hit at Christmas and Thanksgiving around here!
1/2 cup chopped onion 1 c chopped celery 1/4 c margarine Fry or bring to a boil in microwave until onion and celery are tender, then add 1 14ounce can cream corn 1 cup water 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1.5 tsp Sage or Poultry seasoning (I always use Sage with turkey, poultry seasoning with chicken) and I usually use more Bring this to a boil all together and pour over 6 cups dried bread cubes. Mix lightly. Beat 3 egg yolks and pour over bread mixture and mix together. Shape into balls with your hands and place in 9X13 cake pan. Melt 1/2 cup butter and pour over balls just before going into oven. Bake 350 oven for 15 minutes. Makes approx 12 balls. You can make these a day or 2 ahead and keep them in refrigerator. Just pour the butter over them as you put them in the oven.

Stuffing Balls - always a hit at Christmas and Thanksgiving around here! This sounds delicious! Do you serve in instead of normal stuffing? Are they crispy? Dry? Do you serve with gravy? TIA!

I ran across the 2P’s recipe book that was created on the old board. I’d forgotten I even had it.

I just came here to see how long it would take to see BF's Italian beef get mentioned
Which I have never made because I've eaten it before and it's not something I really enjoy. But it's definitely a board favorite!
Years ago on the old board someone had a sugar cookie recipe and I use it every Christmas. I don't remember whose it was, but it wasn't squillen.

I got up and checked my recipe binder thinking maybe I wrote the peas name down. But alas I did not. Was it Yvonne's recipe?

That's mine, too. I’ve picked up lots of great recipes from the peas, directly or indirectly (such as being introduced to Pioneer Woman), but if you say “best pea recipe,” Italian beef is what instantly comes to mind. OP, be sure and check out the pea recipe board here.

Nope, no cream cheese. It's a simple recipe, but it's perfect for those thick frosted cookies!

Glad your family enjoys it!

We have the Chicken Zoodles that Julie W recommended, probably once a week. We almost always have the ingredients on hand, is super simple to make, tasty and fairly healthy. Now we substitute chopped zucchini (3 per 10oz chicken for the 2 of us), so that we can take out the icky inside. It’s a texture issue for me. And AussieMeg mentioned one the other day that we added to our favorites a while back when she first suggested it, Steak with Creamy Miso Mushroom Sauce. We also have the sauce with pork. But not nearly so often as it’s a cheat meal for us.

Sunday Baker was a pea on the old board. She had a cooking blog. She shared her cookie recipe that uses pudding mix. They are the only chocolate chip cookies I ever make. The dough is so versatile. I’ve made all kinds of cookies using different mix ins. When I bring them foe people, everyone always loves them. Sunday Bakers Pudding Cookies

The two recipes that come to mind are these two: Korean BeefKevin & Amanda's Spicy Sausage PastaI have no idea which Peas originally shared those recipes. Never understood why it's called Italian beef..the only thing "Italian:" is oregano Oregano, parsley, basil, garlic, beef...... five ingredients that are very common in Italian cooking. That's just about all of the ingredients. In fact the only ingredient not particularly common in Italian cooking is the chilli (red pepper) flakes. I think 'Italian Beef' is a very good description.

Someone posted an apple bread recipe - was it Yvonne? - that has been my faaaaaavorite apple bread for years! During the years when all of my kids were in elementary school, I would be drowning in apples after the all-school apple picking trip. That bread was the best thing EVER.
