I wish you could buy this at Ulta. Our Target only has a few colors. I don't like ordering online because colors look different online than in person. I hear good reviews about this nail polish. I want to get the top coat if you can use it on other nail polish. I may have to order one and see how I like it! So far I have found they do a great representation of colors. What I see is what I have gotten. They are good on showing it on real hands. I agree on Target. Wished they carried more. That's good! I have found some colors that I love on nail polish instagram posts look totally different at the store (OPI). I can't wait to try olive and june!

Out The Door topcoat is the key. Use any decent polish and finish with Out The Door and it's all good. What brand do you use? I googled out the door and it seems like it's a few different brands. I would love a top coat that you can use with any nail polish.

maryland , I do not like the Olive and June top coat. Reading about it, it sounds wonderful but in reality, I think it's much worse than other top coats. I will say the one I linked above is AMAZING!!! It feels like no other top coat I have ever used. I keep rubbing my fingers over my nails (weird I know but it feels so awesome). I don't think my nail polish is going to chip now. And it's so glossy. I love it. I think this is going to be key to no chipping--this great top coat. That's the top coat we have been using!
The Kielhl's avocado eye cream arrived! Can't wait to try it! You recommended it in another thread.

Oooh, I didn't realize you have been using this top coat. You didn't like it? I have purchased two more bottles for stocking stuffers for two of my girls to go with their Color Street stuff. They prefer Color Street. I don't. It comes off on me but not my girls. And I hope you like the Kiehl's.

I think it has more to do with the process than the polish per se. I personally swear by Vibrant Vinyls Hard and Fast top coat and I love their ridge filling base coat too. Clean dry nails, base coat, two coats of color and a top coat with only a couple minutes of drying time between. I try to stick to 5 or 10 Free polishes. I love Zoya, Olive and June, Live Love Polish, Holo Taco.

I find the particular brand of polish doesn't matter overly much for me. But wearing a good topcoat makes a difference, as does using a nail primer (I use Olive & June's). The single biggest thing that helps me, though, is using Essie Here to Stay basecoat. I even tried a blind test where my daughter painted my nails with 3 diiferent "good" basecoats and I didn't know which was which until I looked it up. Here to Stay made a massive difference!

I got some Olive and June and it sucks. I followed the directions to a T. It says to add a clear coat after two days and then every two days after for a long-lasting manicure. My nails were chipped before I could get to that first clear coat. I did my nails Thursday night and I’m sitting here with chips on 9 out of 10 nails. 🤬
I just started doing my nails again. I love having my nails done but absolutely hate chips, especially when they happen quickly. I might have to look into nail strips. I don’t want to do gels again.

Holo Taco is mostly fantastic. The crepes are not my favorite. Some are dangerous when driving, as the Holo is amazing in the sunlight.
In addition, I Love Nail Polish (ILNP), Cupcake, LOUD, Lights will last too. It very much depends on the top coat.
LOUD base and top coat lasts well. When testing the 4 above (not HoloTaco), I used the LOUD base and top coat.
I think the key is to add a top coat at day 2 from the manicure.

But we use it all the time.

I have great luck with Essie when I use their gel couture topcoat (the one in the white twisted bottle). That stuff is amazing. Super shiny, dries so quickly. Totally agree. This is my go to polish. My only problem with them is the lack of color variety. This is mine, too. As long as I use my Orly Bonder base coat, and this top coat - it doesn’t really matter what polish I use.
