I did almost no scrapping last month - hopefully November will be more creative
- christmas cards for family, friends, and card exchanges
- christmas postcards for the nursing home
-Thanksgiving/fall decorations for our tree (I have a white branches tree with lights in the foyer)
-Thanksgiving cards
and non-scrappy
-finish the ribbon candy ornaments
-sew a skirt for dd15
- sew camp blankets for dd15 and dd21
-sew placemats and napkins for DS30
-sew napkins

Only home until the 18th, when I leave to visit each of my three ds's and their families. The dgk's love to see themselves on scrapbook pages, so I still have some summer and fall pages to finish before I go, so I can take them with me.
i am signed up for the SCT event this coming weekend, so hopefully that will help with some of the fall photos. (lots of fall pretties in the crop box)
I need to finish my Christmas cards so they can be in the mail by early December. May have to pack some card making supplies and work on them when I get time there. The family calendar just needs a November page and a cover page. I need to copy it for gift giving, so I hope to get the completed 11 pages copied at the printer before I leave. |

I need to do a little PL catch-up. I have photos and journal cards all in place, but haven’t journaled at all for a few weeks. i need to wrap that up, do a bit of embellishing, and finish it off.
I also really need to rethink how I’m organizing a few things. Some of my methods are definitely no longer working, but I keep doing it the same old way.

I need to make all my Christmas cards for the various card swaps I have signed up for. I have a pile of Thanksgiving cards that I have started making for friends and family that I need to finish up and mail. I have a small scrapbook that I had wanted to give to my boyfriend for Christmas last year that is very unfinished. I would love to finish it and give it to him on our anniversary (Nov. 27). I have decided to do a Thankful 30 album. I like the one Heba did last year, so I will be using that as my guide. ( Heba's 202 Thankful 30) I need to organize and do a little bit of planning for my DD. This is my first year doing a DD! |

November needs to be a busy crafting month for me. I would ideally like to get done:
*Sept and Oct Project Life. September PL includes our trip to Hawaii so if I only get September done then that’s a win.
*make Pea Christmas cards (there’s a bunch to make!) - 35 45 cards made so far with a bunch to go
*get organized for December Daily
*start prepping pages for December Daily
*make two birthday cards

I am coming off of October LOAD, so there will probably be less scrapping in November, but other projects to get to...
- Christmas card swap - this is my 1st one, so I need to get going on that!
- keeping up with weekly/monthly spreads in my storyline chapters - the book I have has 3 monthly layouts first followed by 12 weekly layouts...I decided to use the 3 months to document the last 3 months in different ways: October will be my LOAD layouts, November - daily gratitude, and December will be devoted to watching xmas shows/movies.
- In lieu of DD, I am preparing to work on a hybrid travel album that has been years in the works
- Organization - I need some serious reworking in the studio since I am finding my style/methods have changed a bit
- Holiday event with SCT - it's just 1 day and looking forward to that

I’d like to finish my 2020 Journal Your Christmas. Only 5 pages left.
I need to get back to my PL, I did up to mid-May then summer happened.
Contemplating some changes to my scrap room. Don’t really need them but would love them. What to do.

I've been working on and will continue to work on Christmas cards.
I want to do a daily thankful album/journal in November. I have an idea on how I want to do it, and what product I want to use. Now I just have to do it! I had planned on prepping a bunch of it, but I never got it done, and now it's November!
I've been making some handmade items to give as gifts, so I will continue doing that this month also.
I'd sure like to scrapbook some pages too! Not sure when I would fit that in though! LOL!

November!
✔️Finish our Portland Mini-Moon Trip Album (We didn't take a honeymoon) - We got married in 2017 so better late than never, I guess.
- Desperately need to catch up on PL. But the last photos in the album are from the day my dad died in March, in hospice. I just haven't had much motivation to emotionally process those photos.
- I can't decide if I should cancel my Paper Person sub this month or in December. Regardless, I am going Frozen in 2022 but part of me wants to hold out for Kelly's Black Friday sale.

My November goals and plans are: 2 day crop and a 4 day crop retreat. For the 2 day crop I am going to try to make a large dent in my fall and Halloween photos. I must have 100 Halloween related photos of DGD from all the events she went to.
For the 4 day retreat I am thinking about taking a food related category of photos. I have all the restaurant, food prep and cooking photos in one bin with all my food related paper and a separate bin of stickers/embellies. There are so many projects I could choose for 4 days but I think the food will give me enough variety to keep from getting bored with it.
I have at least 4 unfinished projects from previous retreats and I have no enthusiasm to pick them up again. Someday I want to, but not now!

This month I AM posting goals. Although Nov is a crazy busy month but I have thing I want to accomplish
*keep current in my memory planner ( which has been harder lately for some reason but I’ve done it )
*complete my online class projects
*get Jan 2021 PL done ( it’s partially done, maybe even nearly complete )
* work on OCT 2021 PL
*write out my holiday cards ( I can count that here right? )

I haven’t SBed since May but I have been attending a weekly card making class. That started in October. I’m currently moving my “temporary” family room scrap area (moved upstairs at the start of Covid - can’t stand the mess anymore lol) back to my basement craft room. That is goal one, goal 2 is to actually get scrapping, hoping for a couple layouts to go along with my cards.

I am attending two online events this month, so it's going to be tough to get much else done. I need to see how many Christmas cards I made earlier in the year, and decide if I'm making more. I also have some fall cards that I would like to send out before it's officially winter.

November is so busy for me, it is hard to carve out craft time. I decided I am not doing Christmas cards this year. My mom has had many health issues this fall and been hospitalized twice, and I just can't seem to muster up the energy to do holiday cards. So I am "giving" myself the treat of skipping them.  I do have a friend coming over to scrapbook, so am happy about that. We'll see how much I get done with the chatting. I'd like to finish up a trip we took in 2017, so I can be done with that album. I am getting some new pens, so yay for that! |

It seems I’ve been scrolling for inspo and shopping more than I’ve been scrapping (as is typical for me!). But, I have started working on stitching LOs while I’m watching videos, so that’s an improvement. I’m attending both SCT online events, so I want to finish those projects!

I'm already 10 days into the month with no goals and few accomplishments. Here's what I'd like to do the rest of this month:
Journaling for a stack of layouts
Schedule a quiet, uninterrupted scrap day
Cut 10 Disney titles
Cut two full pages of embellishments for Disney layouts
Take more pictures of fall stuff

i finished all of my scrappy xmas projects so i've moved on to holiday house decor. right now i'm working on garlands with handmade gnomes on them. if i have time, i'll made a table top wool gnome. i try and make one each year.

I don't know if it was because the pictures were recent and I couldn't cull them or if I had too many activities. I thought I was making too many pages and couldn't figure out how to fix it. I made 8 pages for the October and I'm not done. I need to think about my goals for December. |
