Well there is a difference between truth & lies.. From CNN.. “ One of Marjorie Taylor Greene's verified Twitter accounts permanently suspended from Twitter”From the article ”Rep. Greene released a statement after the ban, part of which said: "Social media platforms can't stop the truth from being spread far and wide. Big Tech can't stop the truth. Communist Democrats can't stop the truth. I stand with the truth and the people. We will overcome!"

The problem for many who aren’t fans of nuclear power is what do you do with the nuclear waste? That question has never been fully answered. And storing it in a mountain in Nevada is not the answer.
But since Joe Manchin is a fan of nuclear energy then maybe the waste should be stored in West Virginia.

But since Joe Manchin is a fan of nuclear energy then maybe the waste should be stored in West Virginia. The other major problem with nuclear power plants is that no one wants one in their backyard. One of the reasons we haven't built one in the US in 30 or more years. And after what happened at Fukushima, the anti-nuclear sentiment is even stronger.

Communist Democrats can't stop the truth. I stand with the truth and the people. We will overcome!" Great news, but the phrase one of her accounts concerns me. Why not ban all of them? eta - found this www.nytimes.com/2022/01/02/technology/marjorie-taylor-greene-twitter.html Twitter said that Ms. Greene had a fifth “strike,” which meant that her account will not be restored. The company had issued her a fourth strike in August after she falsely posted that the vaccines were “failing.” Ms. Greene was given a third strike less than a month before that when she had tweeted that Covid-19 was not dangerous for people unless they were obese or over age 65, and said vaccines should not be required.
Ms. Greene’s official Congressional account, @repmtg, remains active because tweets from that account did not violate the service’s rules.

Also that Ivanka went into the dinning room at least twice to ask former to stop the action. Ivanka Trump may have provided 'firsthand testimony' on her dad's Jan. 6 actions: CNN legal analyst Bob Brigham January 02, 2022 Former White House advisor Ivanka Trump may have provided key testimony to the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol, a CNN legal analyst explained on Sunday. During an interview with ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos, Vice-Chair Liz Cheney (R-WY) revealed a key piece of evidence the select committee has obtained. The committee has firsthand testimony now that he was sitting in the dining room next to the Oval Office watching the attack on television as the assault on the Capitol occurred," Cheney said. Is this guy for real??
“Gov. Parson declares end to COVID emergency as Missouri cases soar to record levels”
From the article
“On the day Missouri surpassed 1 million coronavirus cases and recorded the highest single-day tally of infections for the pandemic, Gov. Mike Parson announced he would let the state of emergency for responding to the disease expire at midnight Friday.
The decision was immediately criticized by Missouri Hospital Association spokesman Dave Dillon, who said it will restrict the ability to provide care as inpatient numbers near the peak for the year.
The order Parson will allow to expire, issued Aug. 27, provided waivers of laws and regulations to support health care staffing needs. It replaced earlier, broader emergency declarations that waived purchasing rules and other regulations, such as school attendance requirements, to give agencies power to deal with pandemic disruptions.
“Thanks to the effectiveness of the vaccine, widespread efforts to mitigate the virus, and our committed health care professionals, past needs to continue the state of emergency are no longer present,” Parson said in a news release.
The expiration of the emergency order means that licensing rules waivers that had allowed physicians, nurses and other providers to work in Missouri will end. It means that the Missouri National Guard will no longer be used for COVID-19-related duties.
The most immediate impact will be on hospitals and other providers who are trying to cope with increasing patient numbers at the same time the omicron variant is spreading rapidly. The staffing relief that will end is coming as staff shortages are aggravated by infections among staff, Dillon said.”

Just realized that both ^^^^ and vvvvv are Missouri! Just a part of Editorial today from the St Louis today, Post-Dispatch...More at link. Editorial: Talk of civil war moves beyond theoretical as distrust of elections grows By the Editorial Board 3 hrs ago (01/02/22) In perhaps the saddest statement since Jan. 6 on the state of American Democracy, Republican lawmakers across the country have been asked to say three simple words: Joe. Biden. Won. But they just can’t bring themselves to do it, even though Biden beat President Donald Trump by more than 7 million popular votes and trounced him in the Electoral College toll. In other words, those GOP lawmakers refuse to recognize the will of the people. Which means they no longer recognize democracy.www.stltoday.com/opinion/editorial/editorial-talk-of-civil-war-moves-beyond-theoretical-as-distrust-of-elections-grows/article_ac7ce090-9ebc-52ab-804e-b2d30317fa07.html

Kind of important to give the cause of death instead of finding someway to indirectly/imply President Biden was responsible for these deaths.

Kevin McCarthy released a statement about banning people from social media.
Unfortunately the right has decided when you lie about something or deliberately mischaracterize something it’s a simple difference of an opinion.
Silly me I think one can have a difference of opinion without lying or deliberately mischaracterizing it.
Diversity of opinion is the lifeblood of our democracy. And yet that fundamental American value is under assault by Big Tech—entities that have amassed more power and more control over more speech than any other institution in history. Their recent decisions to silence Americans — including a sitting member of Congress and renowned physicians — who share views different from the political and media elite have real world costs.
“In fact, as we get more information on the virus it is clear many of the views once demonized by technology companies and the political elite are turning out to be true. The doctrines of lockdowns, school closures, and the threat of covid-19 illness according to age groups and previous infection are currently being reversed. On the other end of the spectrum, Americans on the political left, including popular cable news hosts, members of Congress, and even the Vice President have themselves made public comments that are now universally understood to be false. Yet, they face no repercussions from the gatekeepers of America’s town square.
“It is clear any speech that does not fit Big Tech’s orthodoxy gets muzzled. America is poorer for that conduct. Congressional Democrats, despite having a majority in both Houses of Congress, have shown zero interest in passing laws that will promote a diversity of views. To that end, I have directed our relevant committees and task forces to continue their work in getting answers – voluntarily or through rigorous congressional oversight — from Twitter and other Big Tech companies surrounding their decision to silence certain Americans and to hold these companies accountable. Big Tech platforms should not be allowed to use the shield of Section 230, which was designed to foster an open internet, to censor first amendment protected free speech. House Republicans will be ready to take action that protects Americans when they express their constitutionally safeguarded views, just like we have laws on the books today that prohibit discrimination by corporations in many other contexts.
“The American experiment is dependent on the freedom and ability of Americans to express themselves, which Republicans are fighting to preserve.”

Poor. MTG.. Facebook just suspended her one day after Twitter... Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's (R-GA) Facebook account was suspended on Monday after the social media platform accused her of spreading "misinformation" about Covid-19. Greene revealed she had been suspended by Facebook just one day after her personal account was banned on Twitter. According to Twitter, Greene had broken the company's rules on Covid-19 misinformation at least five times. *** I’m an elected Member of Congress representing over 700,000 US tax paying citizens and I represent their voices, values, defend their freedoms, and protect the Constitution," the lawmaker ranted. "Who appointed Twitter and Facebook to be the authorities of information and misinformation?" www.rawstory.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-facebook/

“The American experiment is dependent on the freedom and ability of Americans to express themselves, which Republicans are fighting to preserve.” Let's talk about the real world costs of covid misinformation. The thousands of people who died unnecessarily because of misinformation. Or, how about the real world costs of election misinformation? A significant number of Republicans believe the big lie that the election was stolen and are willing to resort to violence if their candidate loses. And there is a significant difference between making a false statement based on information available now and making a statement that months later turns out to be false after new information emerges. If he's so concerned about Democrats and false statements, where was his concern for the 30,000 lies that Trump told? He is the biggest hypocrite. I think Republicans are going to try to use the issues of Big Tech & bans and CRT to mobilize their base and win the 2022 midterms.

I think AOC has the potential of going far in politics if she wants. But first she needs to stop these dumbass tussles with the right on twitter. What a stupid remark she made. And no I’m not interested in the comment that generated this tweet. She needs to grow up and ignore these fools. IMO
