I was visiting on your island last night when my electricity went out at 6 p.m. Central -- immediately got kicked back to Kel's Isle. Still don't have electricity.  Oh, man! Sorry to hear you lost power. Hope it comes back on soon! |

Okay Im stuck. First off I am cranky. Have been all day. I am going ot take a break to play some AC to uncrank but I have been wandering around both islands for the last week just lost. Zombieland has a few areas that need the fine tuning decorations. Flowers need to be thinned as do trees etc. I have about three medium-large areas that need something but for the life of me I just can't figure out what I want to do what will bring the whole island together. They are all transition areas. I have a new island, but still can't figure out how to get hooked on to the family plan so this island can be open to the internet. It is a fresh start. I have gotten to KK so I have terraforming. Zombieland has supplied all kinds of bells and items to get started. It is a southern hemisphere island and I purposefully keep it 12 hours behind so that at night when I play, its daylight on the island itself. I was going to do a big Japanese theme based off one of my sons favorite movies just to see if I could do it, but then the science fiction stuff got a huge boost with 2.0. I thought I found something to kick off my terraforming but its not quite working out so Im back to wandering. Ive tried youtube which is my go to for inspiration but haven't really found much. I would really like to complete Zombieland for once. I quit at this stage and re started lol. I really want to finish but I am just not inspired. I have really enjoyed decorating my park area for the holidays and have now extended that to the back patio area of my museum. I built a big farming area that needs the little decorating details. I dunno. Im just blah.. If anyone has seem some neat ideas please share If anyone needs money, I have tons |

Oy... I was heading down to the beach to revive Gullivarr before I shut down and go to bed. As I ran I saw a tarantula out of the corner of my eye. I got out my net and stalked him, but I missed when I thought I was close enough and he got me. Woke up outside my house with my net in my hands as usual. Just took off running back to the beach to Gullivarr. And what are the odds there would be ANOTHER tarantula?? Most likely only because I forgot to put the net away.  Heading back to Gullivarr now with NOTHING in my hands.  |

I found a gyroid washed up on my beach this morning! Not a fragment that I had to grow, but a fully grown one. That's the first time I've ever seen that. Just what I need, more gyroids. |

So I just got my first(and probably only) perfect snowboy of the season. Gotta remember to go back each day for a large snowflake.
And I caught a tarantula! I should just shut down now and not spoil anything else.

A year ago this week my hubby had open heart surgery. Even though I am a nurse and worked for the hospital, I could only visit my husband one day due to COVID restrictions. I was also on medical leave and not well myself. It was a very tough year! When I fired up my game tonight...the snow, the decorated trees, etc. brought up so many memories of that time. All of you here really helped me through a difficult time, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your kindness! I was just learning the game, and it really helped to keep my mind off everything...and gave me some much needed joy! Thank you again!
Work has been crazy busy and I haven't had as much time to play! My island is a mess. I need an island consultant. LOL! I can't figure out how to reconfigure my island. I have houses and flowers all over the place! Maybe one day next week I can open my island and whoever wants to visit can give me some advice!

Finally logged on for today to discover that it's Fang's birthday, and I have an empty plot where Angus used to live. I totally forgot that he asked me to leave a few days ago and I happily said yes! hahaha I even forgot to say goodbye to him yesterday.  So now I have the hopefully fun task of searching for a replacement for Angus. As usual it will depend on my stamina for the Dodo's stupid dialogue every. single. time. I want to go to another island.  ETA: First island -- Dotty, who's already lived on my island. And, SO many apples trees! wow, I've never seen that many before. I collected them all since it's not my native fruit, waiting for the next time "sell fruit" is a 5x Nook Miles task. 2nd -- Rhonda the rhinoceros. Nope, I've had a rhinoceros before and they're not very cute. 3rd -- Louie the gorilla. Hell no! 4th -- Anabelle the anteater. No. Coffee Break since this is not going well. 5th -- Angus! The one who I'm trying to replace! lol. Also, it's the same apple island as #1. Can't wait to sell all these apples. lol 6th -- Alfonso the alligator. Nope. I might have considered it if he wasn't such a sickly olive green color. ick. 7th -- Sprocket, a weird alien-looking bird. Weird eyes that would be scary in the dark. Nope. It was the money rock island though, so I did that before leaving. 8th -- Del, another alligator! He's not at all cute, and too many teeth. Nope. About ready to give up and take my chances with Tom.  9th -- SUCCESS! Freya the wolf. She's kind of cute, I like her name, and a wolf is basically a dog and I love dogs. |

I'm having fun making a farm today. Large portions of my island are a shitshow, but I like my ski lift/lodge, and my farm is looking cute. Need to find ways to connect some areas together and fill in, but winterizing is happening!

Son and DIL early Christmas gifted me the Happy Home Paradise today so I’m about to start exploring that even though my own island is kind of a shambles (the cobbler’s kids/shoes and all that.)

Isla Nublar is open! If you need large snowflakes, there are some on the ice rink to the right of the airport.
Farm is in full swing and added a small newsstand.
Feel free to shake cedars for ornaments and shop Nooks. The reindeer hat and costume is in my Able Sis (along with Skiwear).

I finally realized this morning why I often only find one snowball on my island.... Those darn dung beetles!! I'd forgotten all about them, until I ran around a corner and one was *just* pushing one of my snowballs into a tree! darn things. ick ick and ick. I am glad to solve that mystery though because it was annoying me about why I so often only found one snowball. lol |
