Have you spent the same, more, or less time &/or money on papercrafting during the pandemic (compared to your average time &/or money spent pre-pandemic)? This can include money or time chatting here, watching content or sharing projects on social media platforms, participating in crops/classes, purchasing supplies, creating or reorganizing your craft space, etc.

I'm not sure - I think it's ebbed and flowed during the pandemic as it did before and will after I'm sure. No noticeable overall change for me, I think

Definitely more money.
The two years before pandemic, I was mostly frozen, trying to use up stash.
During pandemic, I've made pandemic albums, and now zoo albums. I've bought more than normal.
During the three months of state shutdowns towards the beginning of the pandemic, I definitely spent more time scrapping because I was home. But since being back to work, I've been scrapping the same as pre pandemic, or even a bit less. It's hard to really get in the mood when every thing is doom and gloom and the end of the world right around the corner.

I would say more money spent during the pandemic, but I have a good sized stash. I don't think it was anything excessive. A bit more time reorganizing my craft space because that doesn't require much creative thinking.
Much less time crafting, chatting, and sharing projects. I haven't done crops or classes, that remains the same.

Early on I spent more time and money. Then I decided I needed to stop shopping for entertainement and use what I have. I did more scrapbooking, too, including some heritage type albums for DH and I. The last two months have been busy and I've been too tired to do much scrapbooking.

Definitely more time as my friend and I have done the 100 day project twice this year. We spend at least 15 min in our studio everyday working in something. Usually it works out to be way more than 15 min.
Money spent was about the same.

Much less on both. I've been super busy at work, and scrapping has paid the price.

I spent about the same during the pandemic as I did pre-pandemic. I did, however, do more paper crafting than I normally do. With my crochet, I did spend more money and I did do more projects than normal. In 2020, I managed 5 shawls and 3 blankets. That's craziness for me.

I spent about the same last year as previous years, and less time due to family circumstances. This year I have spent less money and more time. I’ve been in the fridge off and on, and just haven’t had as much money to spend. However, I have spent more time crafting, and mainly used my stash.

I have spent more and crafted more in the pandemic era than before. Way more, on both accounts.

More time (no commute), less money (I'm on a tear to use up my supplies in the next few years).

Both. I love shopping online and having products deliver to my door is a game changer.
I’ve also done lots and lots of journal spreads and layouts. The pandemic result was lots and lots of time to be inspired on YouTube, Instagram and crafty friends. This was a great positive in a sad circumstance.

First part of the pandemic (2020): more money due to the Kelly Purkey - Paper Person transition, more time because ho hey, strict national lockdowns.
Second part of the pandemic (2021): way less money (no more access to Paper Person as a EU customer), average time (things are getting busier at work, got vaccinated + boosted ASAP).
The pandemic itself didn't affect my spending. I just lost access to my favourite products during this particular time and didn't buy elsewhere to make up for it. I simply couldn't find a satisfying enough alternative to KP's designs.

I have spent more in some areas/times and less in others. Im sure it all evens out. The only actual *big* jump I've noticed is that I spent more on stamps during the pandemic that I ever have before. But I slowed down embellishment and paper shopping so....

More money I'm sure as I order on Amazon so often. The more video's I watch, the more things I "need". Although I did clean out 3/4 of my large craft room and donated three big bags to goodwill

But I slowed down embellishment and paper shopping so.... me too! i am not a stamper but i bought a lot of stamps this year. i didn't buy any paper but i refreshed my embellishment stash. but stamps...that's were the real money went. that and inks (of course).

More time crafting - yes! Even though some days the last place I want to be is in my craft room since it is also my WFH office. I've done way more cardmaking than I ever have which has been fun. Also donated lots of cards as I just don't have a ton of people to send cards to. I also did the 6x6 paper pad scrapbooking class from Alison Davis at Scrapbook Generation and did the Crop & Create from Pinkfresh Studio. Also signed up for the SCT cardmaking class for next March.
More money spent - this one is hard to say as I haven't kept track. We didn't have the Scrapbook Expo in 2020 or 2021 and I typically will drop some $$ there. I have given Pinkfresh lots of my money this year with their stencil/hotfoil/die combos they have put out this year! But I haven't bought much scrapbooking paper/collections except for one COVID collection from PhotoPlay (I think). I've been using what I have otherwise.
Consuming crafty content - definitely more! During the day I'm able to jump on here, watch videos, peruse Instagram, etc since I'm working from home and have more downtime.

I bought next to nothing at the beginning of the pandemic but since 2021 I lost my ever loving mind and bought ALL THE THINGS. I've now cancelled almost all kit subs and unsubscribed from scrappy store emails so I'm not tempted. I have made more this year than I have in the past few years but I haven't made enough albums/pages/projects to keep up with the amount that was coming in.

Way more time and money. My spending has slowed down the past few months, though. Earlier in the pandemic I had packages coming constantly. I’ve been scrapping regularly during the pandemic which I’m happy about. I thought I wouldn’t have a lot of pictures to scrap during this time but it turns out I have a lot to work with.

I'd say more time and about the same money overall. There are some months I get a bunch done and others that I don't. I haven't made a page since September since we started packing to move. I am in my new room, but things aren't as organized as I would like them to be right now and creating until I get it right probably won't happen.

I really like documenting my life each day. I think I’ve spent more mainly because I did two Crop and Create events which are pricy. But I also scrapped more and made over 100 Christmas cards, so I did use what I bought.

More, more money, but less spending time using it. More money because I discovered virtual crafty shows which has opened up a whole new world of small businesses that I would not have otherwise been able to visit or discover because of where I live. Less time because I am exhausted after working from home, zooming, etc.

I think I've probably spent less money overall, although probably not by much. I went pretty crazy last year buying all the things, but this year I really pulled back, and although I spent a bit during the BF sales it was mostly on essentials like albums and page protectors.
I've definitely spent more time creating in the last two years though. We hold the dubious record as the most locked down city in the world so I've had plenty of time at home to focus on scrapping.

It's hard to say...at first (early 2020) I was way down on spending as I was doing the 50 pages challenge, and also Tuesday Morning closed. Then when they opened up, they had nothing. So my TM spending went way way down, which made an impact. However, I did start ordering a few more things. I think overall spending is down and scrapping is up, with the exception of the last few months as there has been some life stuff and crafty time has been very limited. If anything I think I have been more deliberate with my purchases. It's easier for me to make good choices online, where in person in TM I just buy everything because I know if I waffle and come in again, it will be gone. Now it doesn't matter because it's all gone.

In the first few months of the pandemic I spent a little more than I planned because I wanted to support small businesses and it was easy to justify. Lately I've been pretty steady, trying not to buy many things unless I have the time and energy to use them. If anything I think I have been under-buying.
The amount of time I had available didn't really change because of the pandemic, I got busy with other projects, but my energy levels have dropped. That's as much because of said other projects as because of pandemic fatigue.

I spent a lot of money from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021 but I haven't spent much time making anything in the past 6 months except for the weekend retreat I went to in October.

As a household of small business owners, I spent significantly less on scrapbooking items-or all items, really.
I also spent less time scrapbooking, my hands were full with schoing my child, juggling the ever changing rules and how that impacted business operations, and checking in with clients to make sure they were okay.
I am about a week away from moving my scrappy space out of the basement and into the main living room area, and I anticipate I will craft more frequently (even if for a few moments here and there), and also in the evenings while the rest of the family unwinds in front of the tv. I will be right there with them, but unwinding by playing with pretty paper! 😍

For me the pandemic has not affected my scrapping since vaccines. But before that I lost most all of my crops and conventions. I got a lot less scrapping done because I do it at crops and I fell way off my game.
I spent less money because no conventions or retreats.
