February: 28-4-28: February we will be playing along with a new challenge with a twist every day for the month. Earn FIVE points for meeting the challenge + a BONUS of TWO points if you meet the twist on the same project. Bonus points may be included in the challenges.
March: Annual 2Peas on line crop will be hosted by

Regular QUARTERLY challenges: R-1: CRAFTING TIME. Earn TEN points for every hour you spend working on ANY craft: needlework, scrapbooking, card making, sewing, art journaling, creating with paint or wood or any other artistic activity.
R-2: CRAFTING TOGETHER. Earn TEN points for every hour you spend crafting with others. This could be IRL or through video chats. This is IN ADDITION to the hour you earn just for spending time crafting that hour.
Products:
P-1 Foiled again! Use foil (either pre-foiled pieces or pp/cs, or ones you foil yourself) anywhere on your project for one point.
P-2 Just DROP it! Nuvo drops (or similar) 1pt for using on your project, take 2 bonus points if you use 3+ colours on the same project
P-3 Inky Fingers - 1 Pt for inking the edges of your projects 5 points for ink blending on your projects
P-4 Ghostly layers | Use a product that adds a translucent effect to your project for 1 point (vellum, very soft wash of diluted mixed media, transparency with print/adhered elements, etc.).
P-5 Journal Cards - Take one point for every journal / pocket card used on your project. Add a bonus point if you made the card yourself.
P-6 Bouquet of Flowers - Take a point for each type of flower used on your project eg. fabric, die cut, sticker, patterned paper etc
P-7 Stick it down! Use up border stickers, sticker sets, get those out and use them up. One point per sticker. Double your points if you use different fonts for a title.
P-8 Keep it plain Jane . . . Use only cardstock in your project, one point per each color. (Remember you can embellish the cardstock and of the challenges!)
P-9 Heavy Metal Use metallic embellishment such as staples, tag frames, eyelettes, brads etc. One point for each DIFFERENT type used on your project.
P-10 All glittery shiny--Add glitter, pearlescent powders, Iridescent powders, little beads--any thing that add a gleam to your project. One point for each color used.
P-11 Puff it up! Add some dimension to your project with puffy stickers - letters, phrases, icons.
P-12 Kill that Kit! Or at least use your kits. 10 pts for killing it, 5 pts for every unused kit you open and get to work with.
P-13 Holiday pp switcheroo. Use a holiday theme paper/collection on a page for anything other than that holiday.
P-14 Finishing Touches - USE TINY ITEMS to finish your page/card like enamel dots, nuvo drops, sequins, pearls, splatter, small stickers or tiny ephemera (you know those tiny Doodlebug flowers?), tiny punched items (little hearts? little snowflakes?), doodles. 1 point PER TYPE of accent under 1 cm.
P-15 Patterned Paper Mish Mosh - use papers from different lines, 1 point per line on your page. Doesn't have to be different designers even. So for example, if you used a paper from Vicki B's Fernwood, and a paper from Vicki B's Color Study, that would be 2 points. If you added in a paper from an Echo Park line, that would be another point. For digital creators, this will apply to papers from different kits.
P-16 Old and New: use 2 of your oldest products with 2 of your newest products
Shapes/Icons:
S/I-1 Let it Snow! One point for every SNOWFLAKE on your project.
S/I-2 Not Quite Square - 1 point for each rectangle used include photos on your project or the project itself if it is a rectangle
S/I-3 You Are My Sunshine - It's summer here in the southern hemisphere. Take one point for every sun on your project (only one point for patterned paper).
S/I-4 Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend - Take one point for every diamond on your project.
S/I-5 Starry show- One point for each star
S/I-6 Make it a Valentine, since this quarter includes Valentine's day. One point for each heart.
S/I-7 Use tags or banners on your project. 1 point for each tag, 1 point for a banner (not each banner piece) Bonus point for banners if they are layered or adhered together with thread, brads, etc.

Colour/Mood boards
C/M-1 Monochromatic - make a page using one color or shades of that one color. Minimal amount of neutrals are permitted but the one color should clearly stand out.
C/M-2 January Birthstone - Use the color red on your project for 1 point
C/M-3 C/M Let's add the other birthstone colors . . . Amethyst for February, Aquamarine for March (maybe this can be added to C/M-2?
C/M-4 Shades of softness | Use predominantly soft colours (pastels, muted tints, etc.) on your project for 1 point (photos excluded).
C/M-5 Shiny New Year - Use Gold and Silver your project. 1 point for each colour, bonus two points if you use both.
C/M-6 Pearlescent. Use any metallic/Pearlescent/glitter color cardstock or ink on your project.
C/M-7 Roy G. Biv - Use all the colors of the rainbow on your project. Take an extra 5 points if the theme of your project is LGBTQ+ related.
C/M-8 My Girl Valentine - Use only traditional valentine colors on your project - think pink, red and/or purple - neutrals okay! Take an extra 5 points if it's NOT a Valentine themed project.
C/M-9 Winter Wonderland - Use only traditional winter colors on your project - think silver, gray and/or blue - neutrals okay! Take an extra 5 points if it's NOT a winter themed project.
C/M-10 Lucky Clover - Use only traditional St. Patrick's Day colors on your project - think green, gold and/or orange - neutrals okay! Take an extra 5 points if it's NOT a St. Patrick's themed project.
C/M-11 Autumn colours. Use oranges, greens, yellows, browns for those fall layouts you want to finish up.
C/M-12 Simply black and white. Do a layout using only black and white papers and embellishments. Twist = 5 points if your photos are also black and white.
C/M-13 Basic Black - use a black background on your layout or card for 2 points. Use black as an element (eg. banner, tag, journaling card) or matte on your project for 1 point.
Techniques:
T-1 Stamp it! Use at least one stamped image or alpha on your project.
T-2 Emboss it! embossing - use an embossing folder, embossing powder, embossing stencil...and take 1 pt per project
T-3 Exercise those fingers - 1 point for each fussy cut item on your project
T-4 Lilo & Stitch'it! | Add some stitching to your project for 1 point.
T-5 Making Waves - Cut your background paper into wavy patterns
T-6 Layer it up. One point per layer.
T-7 Use your tools. One point for each punch, template, circle cutter, old school CM cutters!, die, ancient decorative scissors, tearing ruler, and so on!
T-8 What’s the Secret? - include hidden journaling or message on a layout or card
T-9 In Pieces. Put paper piecings on your layout or card. Must be more than 2 layers. Twist = 5 points for every piece after the first on. Example = 4 piecings- 15 points
T-10 Get Shakin'! Use shaker elements on your project.
T-11 Torn to pieces - 1 point per torn edge
T-12 I'm a Die Cutting Diva - 1 point per die cut on your page/card. For electronic die cutting peas, if your item comes off your cutting mat in 1 piece, it counts as 1 die cut. If it's layered up, count the layers, count the pieces. It's hard work ya'll!
T-13 Marker Mayhem - play with those markers! 1 point/colour. You might change the colour of a pre-made item (try your copics on thickers and stickers), colour an image, colour some white die cuts/punched items, or use your markers in your title.
T-14 Scrap Attack - use your scrap bin! Make a layout (any size from TN size to 12x12) using only scrap papers and 1 piece of cardstock/background paper.
Words/Titles:
W/T-1 Let's Explore - 1 point for each use of a place name in a title or sentiment
W/T-2 Wordsmith | Earn points for your journaling. 1-9 words = 1 point. 10-24 = 2 points. 25-49 points = 3 points. 50+ = 5 points
W/T-3 Month-tastic | Give yourself 1 point every time you include the month of the memory you're documenting as a word (or abbreviation). Works for date stamps!
W/T-4 Happy - Take a point for every time you use the word HAPPY in your title or journaling
W/T-5 Stripped. Journal on strips OR add your sentiment to a card with a strip. One point per strip.
W/T-6 Go BIG or go home. Make the title a focal point, make it huge!
W/T-7 Punny Love - Use a punny phrase on your project.
W/T-8 Colourful titles - 1 point if your title is NOT black or white. 2 points if your title has 2 or more colours in it (not including black and white!).
W/T-9 J, F, M titles - this could be challenging, so it's worth 5 points. Make a title that is alliterative for the letters J, F or M. You may use small words like "and", "the" "in" "or"... Examples: Jumping Jehosephat! February Fun! Fabulous and Fit! March Mayhem! Maybe It's Mildew? Maybe It's Maybelline!
W/T-10 And I Quote... | Give yourself 1 point for every quote you include on your project. Can be something someone told you, a citation from a book, music lyrics, something from an interview, etc.
Themes:
Th-1 Scrap December! One point for every December photo you scrap this quarter. TWO POINTS if it is a photo from December 2021. THREE points if it meets one of the December PHOTO-A-DAY prompt. Bonus of FIFTY points if you scrap at least one photo for each of those prompts.
Th-2 Vacation Memories - one point for every page that you create. Five point bonus if you make this a stand alone album (of any size)
Th-3 The Look Of Love - Valentines Day related projects will earn you a point
Th-4 Everyday | Document something related to everyday life for 1 point.
Th-5 Birthday | Scrap a birthday event or make a birthday card for 1 point. Bonus point if you include a cake/pastry with candles!
Th-6 Olympian honours | Use the theme of sports, from watching games from the comfort of your couch to your own athletic exploits, for 1 point. Bonus 5 points for something related to the upcoming Beijing winter Olympics.
Th-7 Resolutions - Scrap a page about your New Year's resolutions. Take one point for every resolution included on the page.
Th-8 Galentine's Day - Do a page celebrating female friendships, or celebrating women, or make a 'Galentine' card for a friend.
Th-9 Falling again... Finish up those fall layouts for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Also back to school layouts.
Th-10 First ALL ABOUT ME! Do a layout about a "first". First day of school, first car, first job,etc.
Th-11 Love your PETS. Show your pets some love and scrap them.
Th-12 Teamwork - Yay challenge teams!!!! To honour us, scrap teamwork - whether it be a sports team, a dance team, your family teaming up for a project (such as putting up a tent, putting up a Christmas tree), your work team (maybe zoom pictures will apply?), a dog team... or journal about when it took a team to achieve a goal!
Th-13 Ancient Trio | January because of Janus, the ancient Roman god of beginnings and passages such as doors, gateways, frames. Give yourself 1 point for each represented in your work. February because of the festival of Februa (also Lupercalia) which stood for purification and purging (think eating clean after the holidays, cleaning your home, decluttering). Again, 1 point per thematic on your project. Finally, March as a nod to Mars, god of war (expand to include strategy like specific board games, military, fight sports) and agriculture. 1 point for each represented.
Number/size:
N/S-1 Four square. 1 point for each project that is a 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 8x8, or 12x12
N/S-2 First Quarter - Imagine your page is divided into quarters, either as squares, or diagonally, or horizontal / vertical strips. Leave 3/4 empty and only fill 1/4 with photos/embellishments.
N/S-3 Count the Pretty Patterns! One point for each different patterned paper used on your project.
N/S-4 Size Queen - For layouts, take 1 point for each different size photo you have on your layout (1 point per size). For cards, take 1 point for each different size of panel/mat you have on your card.
N/S-5 Got five? Use at least 5 pictures of any size on a one page layout 2 pts, Bonus: extra point per every picture over 5
N/S-6 Perfect TEN. Use 10 different items from the same collection (each different paper, die cut, and sticker except individual letters count).
N/S-7 Clusters of 3 - since it's the first quarter, we'll start small. 3 items in a cluster will earn you 1 point.
N/S-8 Title Design by the numbers - titles make such interesting design elements on a page/card! Your title/Sentiment must be at least 2 words, and include at least 2 different sizes of letters! 2 points.
N/S-9 Nothing At All: take 5 points for doing a page without a photo. A great way to get some extra points for those art journal pages or pages with memorabilia.
N/S-10 MEGA CHALLENGE: Without the “Other” category, we have 0ver 80 challenges to play with. During the first quarter, complete at least TWENTY (20) of them for a bonus of FIFTY POINTS. If you can meet at least FIFTY (50) of them, claim a BONUS of TWO HUNDRED POINTS! These challenges do not have to be met all on one project; just all of them met and claimed over the quarter.

Re-2 Easy as 1, 2, 3 Use 1 cardstock, 2 patterned papers, and 3 photos. Title and embellish as you like.

O-3 Sustain the Scrappy Economy. 1 point for every $1 spent on scrappy supplies
