I'm not thrilled with this one - I think the balance or the colours are off or something -but it's done and in the album edit - and I just realised that 'give thanks' embellishment fell on the layout - it';s not actually part of it.

grammadee , very cool card for your DH, the copper is amazing. Is that an embossing powder? Thanks, Kendra. That is actually copper metal. Thickness/weight of heavy aluminum foil. Spellbinders used to sell it by the roll in several different colours. I still have some red and blue and a bit of silver, but this is the last of the copper I think .

Linda , your kitty pages are cute. I love the background paper on the first one. It looks like granite and matches your cat. I love the cat stickers and the cute cat papers. Doesn’t it feel nice to use up the last of something...even if you will miss it. ~Wow, I love the sunset photo. Just gorgeous and you did it justice with black and gray matting that lets it be the star of the page. Great balance with the strips going toward the corner. ~I love the Fall paper you have used with the Fall tree. I would have guessed EP paper, but whatever it is, it is perfect for your page. Love the big banner and the woodgrain Is that a tree on your property? ~Great Halloween pages. The papers on those tags are a great fit...even better if they are from a flea market! ETA-You added 2 more pages while I was posting. I think your Thanksgiving pages are great. I love the use of the circles as a border above the photos. Looks delicious. Tammy Folk I love the background paper on this page against the black. Great design and use of color. Your eye is drawn right to the photo and then follows on down to the bottom to enjoy your PL cards and flowers. I love all the detail in your journaling. Years from now, those prompts will bring back memories of this crazy Covid time. kmage, I caught your beautiful page in the gallery and left love.

nylene - thank you. All those pages are for DS's album and are his photos. Kitty isn't his - it was a neighbour's that would visit DS's yard. The tree is also a neighbour's - but so pretty.

I got three pages done during today's online crop - and finished this album - yay! nylene - this tree is in DS's yard - he planted it last spring - it's a Japanese cherry tree. I used a 2019 EP club kit on this one. dug deep into my Christmas stash for this - the embossed background paper is leftover from my 2019 DD and the pattern paper is earlier than that.

This LO is for MOC Day 17 at The Lilypad. The challenge was to do a BIG title that bleeds off three edges of the page. I might use it as a title page in my album, or I might not use it at all! This LO is for MOC Day 18 at The Lilypad. The challenge was to use a B&W photo and all white elements. It was a very challenging challenge haha, not being allowed to use any colour at all. I will probably change this LO before putting it into an album. I need a bit of colour! Even if it's shades of grey and black.

AussieMeg- those are both beautiful - I love the circles and the way the photos bleed into the background on the summer one. The white one is gorgeous -all those textures but your layouts always use such gorgeous colours I can see why you want to add some.

Catching up on page FIVE shares: Tammy Folk , that off-to-college page is beautiful. I love the colours, the torn edge on the large mat, and how the black background and pen outlines on the journaling strips really add impact. Linda , your fall pages are really fun: love the colour scheme and how you used banners and crossed mats to provide interest.
On to this page...
Congrats on finishing the album, Linda ! Love the food photos and the jars of preserves. That two pager is well designed. It looks fine to me, but if you were thinking of adjusting it, a dark border around the very edge might work with those darker photos?
Think i caught everyone else on Flickr.

Swayzee loves the big bows in her hair. My girls wouldn't leave a bow in for anything! She's one of a kind. Her grandparents keep her in clothing. I'm sure her closet holds more than mine. LOL Glamour Girl Linda , your turkey broth looks good. I have never bottled mine. I do freeze it though. I love that plaid you have used for the background. It has a “Thanksgiving-Fall” feel.~ Your son will enjoy that cherry tree. They are so pretty in bloom. You made a great choice on the PL cards for that page. ~ I love the embossed paper on your car page. What fun that DS would decorate his car. Glad you took a photo so it could be scrapped. Three great pages, Linda. AussieMeg , grammadee, and scrappyrabbit , you have love in the gallery. Also love for Ryann on your cards.

These are my January 2022 Sheetload of Cards. I like making cards that can be personalized as I need them. I make up a batch with just "Sending you... or Wishing you..." and then make a variety of inside sentiments, "...a very Happy Birthday, ...our Sincere Sympathy", etc and keep them loose in the ziplock bag with the cards. When I need them, I pick an appropriate inside sentiment, attach it and send it off. I find I send more cards when I have them already made. January 2022 Sheetload

I've left a bunch of photo love in the Flickr gallery during the month but I've been neglecting this thread - time to get caught up! Pages 1 & 2 msupea I love the added touches of glitter throughout your Florida vacation album. It makes it feel special - so very cute! sleepingbooty I like the simplistic approach to your daily pages. You pack a lot visually into the small layouts - very inspiring! @cumber1137 I'm so very sorry for the loss of your father. I'm glad you've been able to find your way back to creating again - I'm enjoying your pocket pages! I don't typically scrapbook this way but really enjoy looking at them. Also, I find the music of BioShock to be SO creepy! scrappyrabbit I'm so very sorry for the loss of your sister. I'm glad you were able to visit her in the hospital beforehand as I know that's been iffy the last couple of years. I applaud your efforts in getting collections used up - that's an accomplishment! jeremysgirl The screenshots you've included on your pages are cracking me up. Really fun stories!! Linda Your photos aren't showing up for me to see.

Linda, I love the angled section of your page with the sailboat. It mimics the shape of the sail. Your cluster of travel icons in the corner is perfect. Great photo of you! Your photo of your mother is so sweet. I'm glad you used the purples since it was her favorite color. That deep purple mat between the white and light purple mats really sets off the photo. This is a beautiful page and will be even more loved as time goes on. You are really on a roll this month. I can hardly keep up with all your great pages.

This LO is for MOC Day 20 at The Lilypad. The challenge was to scrap a bad photo (blurry, heads cut off, over exposed etc). I chose this photo which is blurry. I distinctly remember that I was trying to take a photo of the kids on the bike, where I panned the camera so they would be in focus but the background would be blurry, showing movement. But the whole photo ended up blurry! At least with this challenge I still got to scrap it. Whether it ends up in an album is another story.....

cool challenge AussieMeg - I love the background of the layout and that swirl with the cluster - echoes the movement in the picture Thank you nylene - I'm so grateful to have these photos of her I've gotten one more page done tonight - used some more of the Sept 2019 EP club kit - it's almost killed I think - one more full sheet of paper but loads of scraps and embellishments. I think one more layout, possibly two, and then maybe cards?

Good job scrapping the hard photos, Linda. That smiling selfie in the first one says it all: we have to enjoy the now, because we never know how much NOW we have. Beautiful page with your mum's favourite colour and that sweet photo. Love the multiple frame one, too, but the purple one is my favourite.

AussieMeg, I love, love love that page. There is love in the gallery. Linda, I am glad to see you scrapping your mum. I hope you have more photos of her. The use of the black frame off center behind your layered mats adds so much to this page. I love your EP papers. Here is a layout I did for Sketchy Saturday. It's just inspired by the left page and I had to scale it down for 8.5x11 paper. I can't wait to have my daughters see this. I don't think they knew I was taking photos of their Christmas Day activity. OCD or CDO

cadoodlebug, I love your trip photos. I am impressed by how close (or maybe zoomed) your animal photos are. Very distinct characteristics shown. The use of the die cut animals was a great choice. I’m glad you included a moose die cut even if you didn’t get to see one. The photo on the cover page is gorgeous. Ryann, you have love in the gallery. One more from me today. My scanner is being wonky. It is cutting off each side by a bit. Can't seem to adjust it. This is for the POTW #2. Village Square

cadoodlebug - awesome wildlife photos - I like the different sizes/shapes of photos you used on the layout! Ryann - love the baking photos and that punny title! nylene - I LOVE your christmas village - mine has grown quite a bit as well and I'm hoping to find a good spot to display it next Christmas. The wintery paper is perfect! Like @cadooblebug - I just snap a phone picture for sharing - I do scan finished albums though.

Linda, your page journaling has brought tears to my eyes, bringing back memories of mom who had forgotten so much. How I loved being with her, even when she thought I was her mother. Hard years, but tender memories. Thanks for sharing these with us. You are doing a wonderful job with these.
