I have tons and tons - I have them right now in a plastic bin on their side but I really want to get them out of plastic and into a cabinet. It's the last "plastic" item left in my craft room.
They don't fit into the Alex drawers standing on their side.
How do you keep yours?

I have a vintage metal locker basket ( like this) that I bought locally. I love having vintage storage in my scrapbook room, so it works for me.

In a basket on their side. 😀 not what you want to hear but I’ve tried everything else. Clip it up type system, binder, file cabinet, laying in smaller sticks inside Alex drawer. The basket on the side has been the best. And any that I’ve removed from plastic I ended up throwing away. They just don’t stay on the paper backing to be out of plastic.

A plastic bin would be an upgrade for me. Mine are on their sides in a shoebox. It's definitely not a pretty solution, but I was pretty thrilled at just how perfectly they fit in the box that my winter boots came in. They aren't really on display, so it doesn't bother me too much, and the box is sturdy and light.

I don't have too many so they are in a plastic envelope (fits 12x12) with the rest of my Alpha stickers - it's not ideal - I lose letters here and there - but I use them more when they are close at hand and easy to grab

Clip it up for mine but it can be a pain because it doesn’t sit on my desk. At the same time nothing else has worked well so they remain.

Thank you ladies! Glad I'm not the only one who has this issue - I've tried so many ways to organize these things! I do buy thicker 6x12 bags on amazon that I put them in when I get them, as I always keep them in plastic cause of letters falling off (why haven't they changed the glue?!). I'll keep on trying methods

I don't have too many (because not being able to use them all the way up irritated me, so I stopped buying them).
What I do have is standing upright in a gallon sized Ziploc.

This is probably a bit embarrassing to admit to some, but I actually have a 3 drawer MALM dresser from Ikea whose job is solely to hold my Thickers. Yes, that's right...I have enough Thickers to fill an entire dresser. And it's pretty stuffed...and I love them and I love how it all looks.
ETA: If you have room for one but not enough to fill an entire dresser, they're useful for all sorts of things. I once kept my 6x6 paper pads in them, but you'd have to have something in the back so you don't lose the back of the rows not being able to reach since the drawers don't pull out entirely. I have another one that keeps small Project Life sized collections (things I might have 6x12 stickers, ephemera and a 6x6 or 6x8 paper pad for, but nothing 12x12) and I like it for that, too. A lot of the fridge binz will fit in there, plus there is a drawer organizer system from Ikea that works, too. Apparently they've changed the drawers over time because the Ikea organizers (unless they've been shrunk, too) don't fit as well as they used to...the new MALM drawers are about 2 inches shallower (front to back) than they used to be. When I redid my office, I bought two 3 drawer MALMs and gave my 5ish year old 4 drawer one to my middle kiddo since the 6 drawer MALM they had went downstairs when we split the older 2 into their own rooms and that one could fit the organizers MUCH better. I mistakenly thought that the only thing they changed was the kick plate (not flush with the drawers, used to be recessed a bit).

This is one of the reasons I stopped buying them too, along with how crappy the adhesive is on them. What I do have is stored in one Artbin 12x12 container, along with all my other alphas. I should just go through and get rid of most of them because I haven't used the chipboard ones in probably years.

There was a thread a few months ago about storage of tall stickers that suggested use of a divided bin like this. I'll see if I can find the thread and link it. Anyway, I don't use Thickers, but I do have some ephemera and word stickers whose packages are tall and narrow, similar to Thickers, so these bins might work for that. I bought these bins and they're perfect for my tall stickers! I like that the sides are angled so I can see everything easily.

Another option if you have the older Michael's jetmax cubes are the drawers from the 4 drawer unit. They work really well for Thickers (as well as anything 6x6 and taller) and 2 will fit side by side on a Kallax shelf or even just lined up nicely on a counter. I used to keep my overflow in them until I purchased the dresser that I solely keep Thickers in.

I found two threads that might help: FIRST thread - This one specifically discusses Thicker storage. SECOND thread - This is the one I was originally looking for where someone shared that they used the bins I ended up gettting.

Another that uses a plastic bin, with them organized by color, left in their original packaging!

I keep mine in the scrapbook.com stadium towers that scrappinwithoutpeas listed above. Two of them fit side by side in a Kallax cube.

Mine are on in the original packaging standing up on their side in two baskets. (And the baskets are on standard wall shelves, with room for a couple cup holders of pens/scissors on one side.) I really like them organized this way. The packaging keeps the dust at bay, and the basket allows me to flip though quickly to find what I need. One basket is organized by color. The other is neutrals, metallics, and multicolor prints. Also, being up on the wall keeps them out of my other craft storage and frees up space.

Anything themed based goes into 13 x 13 plastic envelopes, organized by theme (I have 30+ categories) in two rolling file carts.
Anything none themed, goes into the "miscellaneous" binder(filled with divided sheet protectors << not sure the correct terminology) with the other miscellaneous stickers, die cuts, etc...
Alphabets go into a file, in a file box, sorted by color. Multiple colors go into a binder filled with sheet protectors.

I use the large multi-purpose bins from The Container Store. They fit perfectly in one long row, or side by side depending on how you want to store your bin. I wait for a sale, though. I love them. They are perfect or me.

I'm another one who has mine on their side in plastic containers. I also keep my larger flat alphas mixed in with my thickers. I used to have mine in drawers but they weren't deep enough to allow the alphas to stand up so I had to lift out the top of the pile to get to the ones underneath and it was not a good solution.

I also store mine on their side, in these canvas foldable bins from Amazon. They hold a ton, have lids to keep the dust out, and are stackable. They work really well for Thickers and the 6x12 sticker sheets. Foldable Bins (set of 2)

I used to keep them in a low flat basket on my ladder shelves. Then I got more and added a Kallax bin (just the 13 x 13 cloth bin) and put two stacks of them standing up with a Dollar tree cutting board (cut down to an 11 x 13 in the middle. I used another few chopping boards to make dividers. Then I moved and treated myself to some new Thicker storage and bought the tall sticker containers (8) at SB.com. So far I love them and they store quite well. Left Paper and Thickers by Nancy Tim, on Flickr

Another on the side in a plastic bin girl. My bins are from Target 100 years ago, but I love that they fit in a divided Kallax cube. I can have 4 of the bins in one cube.

They are everywhere, I have so many from many years of collecting them. Will keep watching this thread!
I have some standing upright in vintage locker baskets & some standing in an old longaberger magazine type basket. These systems work but it doesn't touch the amount i have. Extras are in bins in my storage closet & i occasionally rotate them out, when I want to use something new. I've made peace that it won't all fit in my room & "shop" my closet when I need something.

If you purchase one of those plastic 13x13 storage containers with a handle (or no handle), they fit nicely two rows side by side. You can stack a lot in their.
