I'm an untidy person by nature, but I HATE having stuff on the bathroom or kitchen benches. (Let's not talk about my office bench top though, okay?!)
The only things I have on my bathroom vanity are: toothbrushes in a ceramic cup, rinsing cup, soap dispenser. Everything else is stored in the cabinet or drawers.

Not much. Soap dispenser on SO's side, 2 glass canisters in the middle for cotton swabs and cotton wipes, and my electric toothbrush on my side. I am fortunate to have great bathroom storage, so everything else I need is either in the drawers below the counter or in cabinets.

**GypsyGirl** Love that counter! We have a massive mirror over our entire sinks/counter, but I would love to put a shelf up like that. If and when we remodel, I want smaller mirrors and then I would love to put up a shelf like that! The designer suggested it and it has been great to have. I recommend one when it can be added.

My bathroom has my toothbrush and toothpaste, an electric toothbrush. Zero, Clorox Wipes, and a random glass bowl. No sure why it’s there. I also have Costco pink soap.

Everything in the universe and then some. I hate my bathroom and we're getting ready to renovate.

My bathroom is tiny so I hate anything cluttering it up. We have a bath and body works liquid soap in a pretty dispenser and a bar soap in a soap holder.

I don’t care for many items on horizontal surfaces, my preference is in a drawer or cabinet. However, our bathroom doesn’t have storage for that. So we have: - Glass soap dispenser
- 2 perfume bottles
- Set of 3 clear glass canisters (qtips, cotton pads, perfume samples)
- Decorative glass Kleenex holder (which has an empty Kleenex box in it because we use it as a mini trashcan for small things like qtips which always seem to miss the regular trashcan and end up on the floor)
In my dream bathroom the soap dispenser and some flowers are the only items on the countertop. Everything else is within easy reach behind cabinets or well organized drawers.

DH wants nothing on the counter but soap and Kleenex. I'm terrible about putting stuff away.
There's hand soap, a bottle of lotion, Kleenex and a container of q-tips. We have a double sink. On my side of the vanity, I have a storage container that's mounted on the side of the vanity that has a spiral thing that holds my hair dryer, a spot for the flat iron and a spot that holds my brush and comb. It's not on the counter at least. My contact lens case and solution is out every night and most days as I'm terrible about actually putting it away.
We have a large mirror medicine cabinet that has three sections. He has his section, I have mine, and the third is shared stuff like OTC meds, toothpaste, clippers.
For someone that wants nothing left out in the bathroom, his desk sure is messy.

Soap, Kleenex, drinking glass, magnifying mirror and small canister of wipes. Very little that isn't essential.I have a huge counter that wraps around two walls.

One round, standing magnifying mirror. That’s it.

Very little. Most of our things are put away. We have an electric toothbrush stand, dixie cups in a stack next to it, a hand soap bottle, and a container of skin lotion (vanicream).

One of the features I love about our house is that each of us has our own sink, counter, mirror and drawers that back to each other. I have a box of Kleenex, toothbrush/toothpaste in a container, Soft Soap, and a small travel clock.
I have two Avon catch-all things ~ one with all my make-up/moisturizers/etc. and the other with all my hair products that I keep under the sink and pull out each morning when I'm getting dressed. The one with all my make-up collapses so that I can take it on vacation.

We have a double sink countertop with space in between. On each side I have a towel holder and soap dispenser. In between is a small potted plant, candle and small stand mirror. On my side is my daily facial cleanser, face lotion and body lotion. On hubby’s side are two different lotions that he switches out. We have drawers in the middle that we keep our toothbrushes and toothpaste and various items in. The mouthwash is underneath the sink. Although I was thinking about getting a mouthwash dispenser with cup holder attached to it and keeping it on the counter. Not sure if I want anymore clutter though.

I have a small glass tray that holds a liquid hand soap bottle and a candle. In DH’s bathroom, there is a clock, jar of q-tips, bottle of hand soap, lotion, toothbrush, and his medication sorter thingy.

Electric toothbrush and hand soap. I wish I could move the toothbrush but it’s by the only outlet.

Double sink, long counter.
Dh's sink has deodorant, body lotion, face lotion, cologne, hair gel.
My sink has cerave cream, body lotion, deodorant, hair gel, brush.
In between sinks is our toothbrush holder with various items. And a hand towel.
Oh and on the back left corner near an outlet is dh's razor system. I will charge my medi-pedi there too in that corner.
Everything else is down below in the 4 cabinets and 1 pull out drawer.

Soap dispenser. Everything else is put away in drawers or cabinets--I don't like much on my countertops.

Too much junk for one person! Toothbrush, makeup, contact solution and case, hair stuff, makeup remover and cotton pads and soap.

When it's cleaned off and doesn't have any random things on it, the only things that live on my counter are soap, a box of tissue, and my spray bottle (of water) for my hair. Everything else is in a drawer or the cabinet.
DH has a jar for change, his toothbrush and toothpaste, his box of (daily) contacts) and a soap dispenser. In reality,99% of the time he also has cups, a hat, a shirt and a few other random things up there too.

A liquid soap dispenser is the only thing on our bathroom counter. Nothing on our kitchen counters either.
The area around my chair in the living room where I knit, crochet & embroider? Not so clear!!
