Not our year. We weren't supposed to get this far so they can hold their heads high. Can't wait to cheer for Joe and the Bengals. He won a National Championship at LSU in his second year and is going to the Super Bowl in his second year with the Bengals.

I'm ridiculously happy for Eric Weddle, former Charger fan favorite who retired from the NFL after the 2019 season with the Rams. To come out of retirement for the playoffs and make the Super Bowl is pretty sweet.

Watched both games. Very happy about the outcome. We thought about going to the Rams game but even the highest nosebleed seats were $600+ each. We've been to a couple of games this season. It's nice having the stadium less than 5 miles away. I can't believe the Superbowl will be here in a couple of weeks. So refreshing not seeing Brady or Mahomes in it this year.

My ds is a Bengals fan, and my ddil sent me some really fun photos and a short video of him leaping into the air when they scored in OT today. This scrapbooker is happy. Gotta look to see if I have any more of that tiger pp I had in my one of Zoo collections...

It took an hour and a half to get home from the stadium. Always such a mess but extra bad today.

Thank gawd the Bengals saved us from having to watch more of Jackson Mahomes and Brittany. Those two are a piece of work; so entitled.

Normally we take a shuttle that's located less than a mile from the house. The shuttles have their destinated entrance to the stadium so traffic is not a problem going to our leaving the stadium. DH's office is on Century so we could also walk 3 miles to the Stadium if we wanted to. The daytime walk would be fine. The nighty walk back, kinda sketchy. Lol.

I originally said NO. Then we went out to dinner, and there was a tv on in the background. Some at the table were interested in the game, and some weren't. I was one that wasn't. I would have rather have had it turned off so I could hear what people at my table were talking about, instead of how far someone threw a football. It was a karaoke restaurant, so I was more interested in that. One man had an amazing voice. Two women should have thought a little harder about singing. I think they'd had too much to drink! At least I hope that was what was wrong with them!! They were terrible--and loud. We had a good time together in spite of the extra noise.
