Ha...the title is so long it doesn't fit on the Subject line.
I binged this Saturday. It was a good mystery. The episodes are short 20-30 minutes long.

I HATED this show. We stuck with it because of Kristin Bell and I really thought some of what was going on was her hallucinations. The whole thing was so ridiculous. You don't expect complete realism but practically nothing would have actually happened the way they portrayed it. I can't go into specifics without giving it away for anyone who wants to watch.
There is also a major trigger for anyone who has suffered the loss of a child.

I liked it - but I read the book which was good and bad. it was a parody though and it wasn’t exactly like the book

When it ended I had to ask others who had watched it if what happened in the last episode was supposed to have really happened. It was so dumb.

Is it a parody? I thought so from the title but frankly can't tell from the posts. I saw the listing and assumed it was (which I wouldn't be interested in watching), but would watch it if it were actually a mystery.

Yes it's a parody. It has it's eye roll moments.
I'm glad someone tagged the child trigger info. I hadn't thought about that.

Yes it’s a what I would call a subtle parody (Kristen bell remarked in an interview that her mom would have watched the entire thing and not realized it was a joke lol). It is based on the book The Woman in the Window. I found it entertaining and my mom loved it.

I only watched a couple episodes and it's okay. I am not a fan of Kristen Bell, but I wanted something to have on as I cleaned. I wish I could figure out how to post a spoiler because I want to ask a couple things but don't want to spoil it for anyone.

Yes it was a parody, hence the name. And very funny in places. So ridiculous. I liked it.

I started it on Saturday but only watched a few minutes since I started reading reviews. I switched to Ozark. Maybe I’ll give it another try.

My DD told me it is a parody based on all those thriller books - the girl on the train, the girl(lady) in the window, etx..etc... thus the very long title.
It was a cute fun watch while we were iced in.

I watched it. Mainly because I do like Kristen Bell. There were several eye-rolling moments throughout. I was really bothered by the way their daughter died. The basic scenario of the father taking the little girl to work with him was ludicrous to begin with, but why didn't someone break down the door to get in and save the child? No one had a gun? Why wasn't the guy in cuffs? I kept returning to that thought throughout the movie and it bugged me. I think they could have done so much better with the child's passing.

I didn't realize it was a parody and so I kept having "seriously" moments and some weird feelings while watching it trying to figure out if it was supposed to be funny or if it was trying to be serious and missed the mark. I did enjoy the show overall but it was pretty odd.

We watched it all on Saturday. We were amused and enjoyed how it kept getting more and more ridiculous. Not sure how I felt about the final episode, but I enjoyed Kristin Bell and her big wine glass filled to the top.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was a really clever and fun mix of spoof and mystery, and I laughed out loud a few times.

I liked the neighborhood friend character and her best friend character- and I also thought the wineglass was funny.

I really liked it--thought it was pretty funny and still rather twisted.

I binged it and loved it. The casserole dish and bowl of wine corks tickled me:)

I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it either. Parts of it were funny, but with a genre of “parody” and “absurd” I thought it would be a little funnier. I do like Kristen Bell

I liked the growing mess of wine corks on the counter. Oh and the seemingly unlimited supply of matching casserole dishes.

I did end up enjoying the series but I did nearly give up after the first episode as I didn’t quite get in to it at first.

Watched the first 3 episodes last night. I'll get back to it and probably watch the rest this afternoon. I'm enjoying it.
