This week's colour challenge is to use black and white - only black and white (greys/off-white/cream are fine). And the twist is to use at least one stamped image (alphas count) on your project. Have fun! My sample is made with all scraps except the background.  |

Oh I LOVE your layout Linda! Beautiful layering. I'm pretty sure I'll make a card for this challenge. That will be hard enough...but a layout in only black and white might kill me! |

Oh I LOVE your layout Linda ! Beautiful layering. I'm pretty sure I'll make a card for this challenge. That will be hard enough...but a layout in only black and white might kill me! But you need SCRAPS... I just came upon a kit in my stash a couple of days ago. It was mostly black & white and wedding themed. Maybe you can make a wedding card and then use the scraps for a wedding LO?
Pretty sure you will not only survive, but end up with gorgeous results. To quote what gramma is always saying on the virtual crops "You can DO this!" |

This is such a sweet layout and a great (non) color combo to use with that photo! I'll have to think of a photo that will work with this color challenge.

Linda Thank you for the black and white challenge. It worked great with this picture I had set aside when cleaning out my photo closet. Your kitty layout is cute - perfect for your tuxedo cat. (The tuxedo cats I have know are smarter than other cats.....) scrappyrabbit What a lovely wedding layout, with such pretty touches (like the lacy doilies). A great picture for this with the white wedding dress and the black suit on the groom. justjac puzzle stamps, perfect! The black and white lets the vivid colors of the puzzle shine.

I set out to make 1 black and white card. Found my penguin stamps and got stamp happy, so ended up with 3 cards. Each has a different snowflake layer in the centre. I cut them from holographic paper - there are no colours, just reflection from my surroundings! Likewise, some of these sequins look green - they're actually clear IRL!  cards have an ice day by kirstendrew, on Flickr |

Linda, thank you for hosting this challenge. I love your page about Mini. You have such pretty black and white patterned papers. I think I need to watch for and buy some of those. Your double mat on the photo really makes it pop. Love the little circle with the kitty. Great design. scrappyrabbit, kitbop, kmage and justjac, you have love in the gallery. jjpeapea, your page is delightful. I love the title that leads me right to her smile. Nice use of the sequins, cute banner and little bicycle. This makes a pretty page. I need lots of cards for a silent auction so I made black and white cards. I stamped the white ones with "Made With Love" on the back. I need to still re-ink my white ink pad so I can stamp the black ones too.  Black & White Sympathy Cards

Well, this was quite the challenge Linda , and I love it haha!! I didn't read the challenge properly, and I thought we could do Black & White with a hint of one other colour. So this page originally had splashes of mint green. When I went to upload it, I realised that OOOPS, no other colours allowed except for grey / cream. Easy fix - back into Photoshop and change the mode to greyscale! My stamp is a stamped lace by Gina Miller.  |

I raided my black/white embellishment drawers and this is what I came up with. I did add just a smidge of gold, but that's a neutral in my house!  No twist on this one.  |

Better late than never, I guess. One of the LO's I put together while at my ds's doing child care. Actually, Linda, I packed this b&w striped paper with the express purpose of meeting this challenge.  trick stick practice by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Unfortunately, I did not pack any stamps. So no twist on this one. |

Ryann - love it - the photo all the way to the left with all the embellishments and the mixed media splatter encircling it all -perfect grammadee - I'm sorry...maybe follow kitbop's lead and try iridescent? joyfulnana - black and white is great for cat layouts and your kitty is just so cute! I love all the stars
