Today marks the beginning of week three and Day 15 of the 28-4-28 Challenges for 2022. Staying with the theme of SEASONS, today's challenge is all about AUTUMN. Your challenge is to create a project that evokes autumn; think temperatures, holidays, colors, icons, activities, etc. How you choose to interpret the theme is up to you! The twist is to include a photo that is LARGER THAN 4x6. You can include smaller photos as well, but at least 1 photo must be BIG! My photo in the example below is 5x6. grammadee has included an incentive for all Quarter ONE team players: If you are on a team, you can earn FIVE points for meeting this challenge, with a TWO POINT BONUS for also meeting the twist on this same project. It was not previously stated in the Quarter One challenges list, or in gramma's spreadsheet, but if you can complete ALL of the 28-4-28 challenges by the end of this quarter, you can earn a BONUS of 280 points!

Ryann thank you for the Autumn challenge! Your page is so pretty. I am liking the simplicity of my result, the memory and celebration of a truly lovely day.

Here is my LO for this one. Photos from LAST year (2020). Had not quite figured out how to scrap them before, but had alot of fun playing with Simple Stories and Doodlebug from their 2021 fall collections. Photo on the left page is 8x10. Thanks for this challenge which included the large photo, or I may have still had these pic's in the envelope and not on the page. Now to get this page into the 2020 fall album...

kmage, I love your Halloween page. the script background paper is perfect and I love the spiky border. The center frame around the photo is also so perfect for the Halloween look. Love all the circles and pits and pieces tucked under and around the photo. Amazing page.

I went a completely different direction but the colours in this photo are really quite autumnal, and I the border strips I used pick up on that. This is a title page for this section of my trip.

Chinagirl828 That photo is a beautiful photo of beautiful architecture. Make it so huge and keeping everything else smaller was so perfect.

kmage Really cool layout! It really embodies the moodiness of Halloween. I love the frame around the page along with the frame under your photo. Chinagirl828 Great layout! I like that the majority of your layout is taken up by your photo. I also like the flourished font you've used for the title; it looks great next to the ornate architecture in the photo.

This is a Halloween layout! I did intend to use Halloween papers, but her costume and the flowers sent me in a different direction. The yellow and black and blue I started with look different once I added the pink. The photo WAS a 5x7, but I trimmed it down so much I cannot claim the twist layout let down your hair by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Thanks for another fun challenge Ryann ! Australian native trees are evergreen, so I don't have any traditional style autumn photos with changing leaves. Autumn to me means enjoying the last warm days at the beach before the dismal months of winter. I was originally going to scrap some of my gazillion autumn beach photos. Then yesterday my friend and I went for our weekly walk up the mountain. It was the first time I'd been up there when the valley was covered in a blanket of fog. And it was considerably cooler than the last couple of months. Autumn is here! I used three photos bigger than 6x4.
