I'm putting my Valentine's decor away, tomorrow, then putting out St Patrick day decor. I'm going on vacation on March 22, so I may decorate for Easter before I go.

Not yet! It is still so cold here and doesn't feel like spring yet, so I'm not in the mode to start decorating for Easter. I do have a few cute things for St. Patrick's Day so I'll have to put those out first. Hopefully by the time St. Patrick's Day is over, it'll have started to warm up here and then I'll be ready to do my Easter decorating.

Last year I elected to only decorate for Halloween, which transitions into Fall/Thanksgiving, and Christmas. That is it. I'm trying to live with less, and those holiday's decorations were the ones I liked best. I got rid of everything else.

1st weekend in March I'm going to. When I took down all the Christmas stuff I didn't put anything back up and it's been so bare, but nice at the same time. I just decorate my hutch/small dining room and from Spring through Christmas it has stuff in it. Not a lot, just something to make it a little festive for whatever season/holiday it is. And seeing you have to walk through that room to get to anywhere in the house it's just nice to see something cheery in there.

Last year I elected to only decorate for Halloween, which transitions into Fall/Thanksgiving, and Christmas. That is it. I'm trying to live with less, and those holiday's decorations were the ones I liked best. I got rid of everything else. This is a timely post that I really needed to see. I’ve been looking online trying to find a spring table runner that I like. Um..why? It’s not like I ever walk by the table and wish I had one there. And I’m not a spring colors person anyway. So thanks for that! Now, there are a few Easter items I’ve seen for the past couple of years that I love, so I may splurge on those. But there is no reason for me to go looking for something to buy! I’d love to put a couple sets of these alabaster eggs in a crystal bowl on the entry table. But I’m not paying that price and I’ve watched eBay for a year and haven’t seen any good deals. And I think these Easter Bunny pillows are adorable and I want the pm, even though that’s not my style. But again, I’m not paying those prices. So these items draw my eye every time I see them and I still want them about a year-and-a-half later. At the right price, I’m okay with that kind of purchase. We also went through our holiday items Christmas 2020 and got rid of a lot. And this year I picked out even more that I didn’t love as we were putting it on the tree. But we still have a HUGE amount of holiday totes in the garage. Huge. I love them so much (we still have 2 trees up because we are still enjoying them) that it’s worth it, but I really wish our house had usable attic space!

I really wanted to buy an Easter tree and some chick and egg ornaments to put on the dining table but with a kitten in the house it would be just asking for trouble!
Disclaimer - said kitten is absolutely not under any circumstances allowed on the dining table!!

I have my Mardi Gras decorations up outside. I'll switch out spring decor outside after next tuesday. Inside, I have a couple Easter throw pillows out. I also bought some new placemats, easter plates, and centerpiece set up on my dining table.

This Christmas I am determined to cut down the boxes by at least a 3rd, and no more Christmas DIY box. I have been watching too much YT.

Although it's 65 degrees here today, we're supposed to get a foot of snow on Friday. I'm not ready to decorate for anything yet!

Nope, we are in the middle of dead winter... I think the current temp is -1. spring is way far away for us.

Not yet. It’s ❄️ and 🥶 out there. I have a mix of Valentine’s, winter, red/white/blue from the Olympics and *sigh* a 9 foot Christmas tree in the front window with large snowflake ornaments on it still. Maybe next week?
I did order the spring birds, bottlebrush trees, and a carrot wreath from Target. Perhaps their arrival tomorrow will motivate me?

I don't really decorate for holidays (with the exception of Halloween outside and Christmas inside and outside).
I do buy tulips and other potted spring flowers and set them out on the table. I prefer the potted to cut as I can keep them alive longer. :-)

I bought a container with tulip bulbs at Costco and they are all blooming. The gorgeous pink color is a nice spot of color, and a change from the red of the holidays.
I don’t really decorate for Easter, but I will change some things out for spring. Right now I still have winter stuff - snowmen and cardinals mainly - plus a bunch of lighted flocked trees (yes, the 5 and 7 foot type). I love the lights and what they add to the house and have been very happy with them. But they will likely get moved to the basement this weekend.
I need to start looking at what I have for spring, especially for the dining room table and the top of the curio cabinet in the dining room, the main spots I change out more often. I may need to look for some new things.
