In some of my darkest moments it was this group of woman who got me through the night. I will forever be GRATEFUL.
I often think that some people truly have to take on a persona to come on here and type what they type. To read into things as much as they do, and to make it so ugly so fast. Then I sit back and switch to a different post and I find the posts that are uplifting and supportive. I choose to think about the positive.
I will say that I think there are some brilliant members in this group. I would love to sit and ask questions…..have a conversation on so many subjects. I’m all about learning how to grow and listen to all sides of a story. Sadly, I would never feel comfortable because I would never want my question or comment to be taken out of context and used against me. I think so many of us could learn even more from each other, if only it was a little less combative.

I started coming here because of the scrapbook board but stayed because of the NSBR board. It got me through a tough pregnancy and I have stuck around because of it. In recent years there has been some nastiness but I have seen so much good to. People reaching out to help when needed. I really hope that never changes. Most of us are getting older snd many have reached out with loses and found support. Like others I sometimes need to take time away but other times I enjoy and get information from this board. I love some of the fluff threads. I love the monthly craft thread even though I’m not posting I enjoy seeing what everyone is creating. I love the reminder about the Prime first read book. I had forgotten about it and saw it mentioned snd grabbed my books this morning. I have asked many questions and received answers which are always helpful. I love the what you watch/binge threads. Reading threads, Christmas gifts, stocking stuffers etc. I think I heard it here that Costco had Lego advent calendars last year and was able to pick one up. So many good things from the many women in this board. I appreciate this board snd it really has helped during some dark moments in my life.

I find the good far outweighs the bad. There is so much love, kindness, caring, support, sharing of experiences, wisdom, laughter... I could go on and on. Yes there are a few peas who terrify me. I back out & try to avoid them. The Peas taught me how to roll my eyes. The scale always tips to the good for me. I never thought I could come to care so much for a group of strangers.

I love this place. I've been here since almost the beginning of Two Peas (started on the other other board years and years before it ended) .I just haven't posted a lot.
I found my Skype Trainer from a recommendation here. I've gotten my kids through school, college and married while getting advice from everyone here. I've used the search bar so many times to find answers about heavy stuff all the way to recipes and recommendations on books. When something big is going on in my world or the world, I eventually find myself here at the end of the day looking for knowledge and perspective.
This board is part of my life and I'm thankful to have y'all!

Like others, I have been a pea since 2000!
Sometimes I post more, sometimes less, and have gone long periods where I didn’t post at all.
The peas have helped me through my sons surgery in 2001, tough family situations
and are always so encouraging when I’m dealing with my
rheumatoid arthritis and autonomic dysfunction.
And, I’m pretty sure you guys will help me plan my
son’s wedding this summer!
