I'm home from work ... ex was here painting and didn't leave until almost 5 o'clock  Dinner tonight is French Onion Soup ... it's in the oven now ... I definitely don't make it from scratch now that I'm single  I jump at any chance not to cook! I don't eat in restaurants often (other than the odd brunch at Denny's with my mum) but I do take out at least once per week  I have discovered food delivery services which has been awesome! I order salads for my lunches from one place and two meal kits in a box from another place ... I buy less groceries and I get excellent food  |

I am really cranky right now. All I did today was eat and eat. I just finished some Mac nuts to tide me over until dinner. How can I need to eat this much in a day? Everything is wonderful! The air is sweet and the butterflies are all looking for dates. I ate the best cottage cheese in my life today. It was amazing. There is that theory of mine that US food tastes better than ours does.
I am hungry again.

Thank you! It’s just my yearly preventative screening. My mom had breast cancer twice (and is a survivor) so I am good with keeping up on them. I actually don’t mind them. But I am planning to get a cookie after! I LOVE to hear about survivors! We have A LOT of breast cancer survivors on 2peas, and I have a dear friend who is a 7-year survivor. Oh, and I hope your cookie was YUMMY!  During the week I prefer my pajamas almost as soon as I walk in the door Same girl, same! When we get home from somewhere, the normal clothes are ditched, and jammies on immediately! When I worked, I left my shoes outside, came in the door, dumped my scrubs into a separate hamper in the laundry room, then ran immediately to the shower (which we dubbed the "decontamination chamber")  and had a niiiice long shower before I kissed him or the doggies hello. And then straight into jammies! a rainbow unicorn headband for me to wear to her rainbow party, and some presents for Sophia’s new little cousin, who was born 12 days ago You will be the cutest grandma EVER in your headband! I wissssh we could see piks of this precious birthday party! Ohhh, and I think I missed that they recently had their new baby...congrats! It's only the second time I've been into the office in two years. We've been told that we now have to start going in at least one day a week. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!! I am crying with you !! Noooooo !!!! BUT---I was afraid you were going to say you had to go back to the office EVERY day!  We went to dinner at MIL's house for FIL's birthday. She made mussels in a lovely Asian coconut broth, prawn fried rice, home made prawn toasts. As I scrolled, I anticipated your usual gorgeous photos! he has now officially left his crutches behind and with his boot on.. walked 3 miles yesterday. Wow, your DH has been through SO MUCH with his poor leg--good for him walking 3 miles! P.S.... I'm soo jealous that you live near THE REDWOODS !!!!  I'm actually jealous of almost everyone who lives in ANY part of California! It has been my dream place to live for many years! SOMEday, DH and I are going to drive the Pacific Coast Highway ! ( we were gonna rent a nice RV and bring the doggies). visit with my grand puppy. He's an English Mastiff You're a very lucky grandma! I'd LOVE to see a pik of him! DH and I have a love of ..errrr....obsession is probably a better word.... of doggies with wrinkly faces....and English Mastiff's faces are sooo cute, wrinkly, and HUGE! I've only seen piks/ videos of them, but if DH and I ever met one in person, we'd be sooo giddy!  |
