cakediva Yours will be in way Monday. The extra 10 bucks wasn't added but that's ok. I think because it's "added to shipping" and because there was none... Anyway, now I know. The rest of you Candian peas I think I actually have to change actual price. I will do later. Sorry. Kid just called with flooded/wet basement so headed there to help. Or feed them anyway. To all those who haven't heard, read, or seen my previous thank yous, I'm here to tell you all again, thank you for your support. During the time of what I call "the Pea surge" the Stars for Kids definitely got more exposure from your sharing and peas' purchases. I sincerely thank you. If you ever think about it, share at will. Any future help appreciated.
Today my kid that works for the youth services and co-heads the group called me asking if I sent a star to an area in Minnesota. I'd have to check I said as for the time of "the surge" I'm less likely to remember. Anyway, it seems someone(s) randomly sent a donation for $500 and no explanation. As some of you may know, with the stars I send a thank you and a plug to further donate if wish to. (not beneath begging for $$ for the Kids😉).
Anyway, if any pea had anything to do with the random out of nowhere donation, I send a special thank you of appreciation to you. That amount is HUGE in comparison to their little budget for the TLU group. Most activities (a prom included) counts on further donations and help from the public. Last year, one of the Kids parent, a cook/chef, catered the whole event free of charge. ♥️🧡💛💚💙💜
I myself was "bummed" that I hadn't sold or able to donate more and my kid "slapped me upside the head" so to speak. Every little bit counts and helps. So, as I was told, "every star is more a percentage of our budget than you'd think, Mom. You are a loved hero around here."
That goes for all you peaple helping in this endeavor any way you have.
All that ☝️☝️☝️ to say thank you, thank you, thank you for all you have (or will do). ♥️
