Twelve Card Challenge posted by Eddie-n-Harley . One point per card, TWENTY points per dozen cards created in any one month. BONUS of TEN points per dozen if you meet each month’s theme.

Regular QUARTERLY challenges:
R-1: CRAFTING TIME. Earn TEN points for every hour you spend working on ANY craft: needlework, scrapbooking, card making, sewing, art journaling, creating with paint or wood or any other artistic activity. If you spend less than an hour, or go over an hour total, then add one point for every ten minutes of the partial hour spent.
R-2: CRAFTING TOGETHER. Earn TEN points for every hour you spend crafting with others. This could be IRL or through video chats. This is IN ADDITION to the hour you earn just for spending time crafting that hour.
Quarter TWO challenges Add yours!
Products:
P-1 Coloured cardstock. One point for each different colour of cs used on you project.
P-2 Chippy chipboard: One point for each chipboard embellishment, 5 points bonus for embellishing the chipboard (wrap ribbon around it, paint it, what ever.) So 6 points for each embellished chipboard on your project.
angel97701 has a list of ideas for embellishments if you need a few! LOL
P-3 Spray Crazy Use your mist or sprays on your project.
P-4: Alpha mania. Use alpha stickers on your project. One point per sticker pack used.
P-5: Mark it with colour. 1pt for each color of marker used
P-6 Tie Me Up - 2 points for each color of twine or ribbon used on a project.
P-7: Mix 2 company products to earn 2 points. Add 1 additional point per added company product. (Crate Paper + Echo Park = 2 points. CP + EP + MME = 3 points)
P-8: Mix newer and older same company products on your layout/card/PL/pocket page project. Earn 3 points
P-9: Just a little WINK! Take one point for every different colour of Wink of Stella you use on your project.
P-10: Whatsup washi? - poor underused washi - 1 point per PIECE on your layout. Go for it!
P-11: 6x6/6x8 - use those smaller paper pads - 1 point per piece of pp from a smaller pad
P-12: Got carded! | 1 point per Project Life card used (whichever brand/designer). Card can be cut up, torn, etc.
P-13: Breaking in | Break into unused supplies. Per unused product you're finally showing some love (die-cut pack, paper pad, stamp set, etc.), take 1 point.
P-14: Woodn' it be nice? Use your wood veneer.
P-15: Flowers! Add a Prima or similar type flower to your project.
P-16: I've been framed! Use frames on your project - pre-made or handmade. 1 point per frame.
Shapes/Icons:
S/I-1 Eggstra special. One point per OVAL on your project. Two points if it is an EGG.
S/I-2 use sunflowers in your project 1pt for each one (PP only counts for 1 each no matter how many sunflowers are printed on it)
S/I-3 Winged things. One point for every bird, butterfly, or other living thing (even angels or fairies or dragons) with wings on your project.
S/I-4 Let's be square: One point per square in your project, double points if used in the fourth month, April.
S/I-5 Starry time: One point per star on your project, double points if used in the fifth month May.
S/I-6 Hexagons can be on a soccer ball or a honeybee comb! One point per hexagon on your project, double points if used in the sixth month, June.
S/I-7 Get Fancy - 1pt for each doily/mandala style shaped used
S/I-8: Say Cheese! - 1 point per camera used on your project. Patterned paper counts as only one camera.
S/I-9: Beach Bum - 1 point per beach-themed icon used on your project. Patterned paper counts as only one beachy icon.
S/I-10 Rainbow Bright - 1 point per rainbow icon used on your project. Take a bonus 5 points if it's LGBTQ+ related.
S/I-11 Our House - 1 point per house icon used on your project. Take a bonus 5 points if it's related to moving/housewarming.
S/I-12 Beach time. Sun, Waves, or circles 1 point.
S/I-13 Tiny chancer | As spring unfolds, the smallest of the critters are about to come out of hiding and leap all over our homes and gardens again. Earn 1 point per non-winged tiny creature on your project (up to 5 max for pattern paper). Think of ants, spiders, worms, snails, etc.
S/I-14: Just point me in the right direction. Arrows: one point for every arrow on your page. (Just count a sheet of patterned paper as one, but each stamp, sticker, or die cut is one each).
Colour/Mood boards
C/M-1 Pretty pastels. Use this image as an inspiration for your colour scheme.
C/M-2 Pastel for late spring and early summer. Bonus: Five points for an ombre look, fading from one color to another, or dark to light in a single colour.
C/M-3 Down to earth. Scrap with earth tones (blues/browns/greens)
C/M-4 Pick a combo. Colors that represent each month: Use only these colors for the particular month on a project and earn 5 bonus points (I think this will be a challenge!)
April--White, Yellow, Red
May--Green and Yellow.
June--Light Purple, White, Cream
C/M-5 Stand for Ukraine - 1pt for using blue and yellow together on a project
C/M-6 No Pinks Allowed - create a project using NO pink (no baby pink, no bubblegum pink, no hot pink, no raspberry fizz!)
C/M-7 No Blues Allowed - create a project using NO blues (no baby blue, no cornflower, no turquoise, no aqua, no teal, no periwinkle, no navy, no cobalt, no sky blue!)
C/M-8 I Heart the 70s! - create a project using an 70s color palette: warm tones of orange, yellow, green, brown, rust
C/M-9 I Heart the 80s! - create a project using an 80s color palette: neon, bright or pastel versions of pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple
C/M-10 I Heart the 90s! - create a project using an 90s color palette: jewel tones - think maroon, navy, forest green, eggplant and mustard
C/M-11 Shine Bright - use foils, metalics, glittery items or holographics, as long as it's shiny or sparkly, it counts. 1 point per type (eg. can take a point for silver glitter alphabet, and another point for sequins)
C/M-12: Black tie | Make your project predominantly B&W for 1 point. Exclusively B&W (minus photos) for 5 points. Claim another 5 bonus points if your photos are B&W as well!
C/M-13: Put it in neutral | Use predominantly neutral colours for 1 point. Exclusively neutral (minus photos) earns you 5 points. Think of: black, white, grey, beige, cream, brown, taupe, kraft, nude, tan, greige. Not cumulative with Black tie.
Techniques:
T-1 Make a splash! Use some kind of wet media on your project for one point. TWO points if you splash it on.
T-2 Use your dies - 1 pt for each die used on your project - add a bonus point if it's never been used before
T-3 Stamp it on! One point for each different stamp you use. This includes titles, if each letter is a separate stamp.
T-4 Fun tool time: Stencils, embossing folders, crimpers, ancient scissors, punches, tag maker, stapler (mini or otherwise), heat gun, or any other tool in your arsenal (something that is multi use and not used up by the process.) One point per each different tool that you use in your project.
T-5 Get Fussy - 1pt for each item which is fussy cut on your project
T-6 Cut It Up - 1 point for using a SVG cut file (or similar) on your project. Take a bonus 5 points if you backed open spaces in the cut file with patterned paper (it takes time!)
T-7 Stitch It Up - 2 points for including stitching on your project - sewing machine, hand stitched, faux stitching using a pen, stamps, etc.
T-8 Paint the town! (Or go to town painting) Use paints to splatter or use as a background, for stamping on your project, on torn edges. 1 point for each paint color, 1 point each stamp, 1 point each torn element.
T-9: Create dimension - thickers/chipboard/puffy stickers/enamel - 1 point
- layered die cuts to make your own thickers - 1 point
- dimensional adhesive (eg foam squares) - 1 point
- bonus 5 points if you do all 3 on a project
T-10: torn edges - 1 point per torn/roughed up edge or shape
T-11: Use a sketch. Here is a sketch that you may want to try! This is from March 2022 on Pagemaps
T-12: Go to Pieces: take 1 point for each paper piecing of 3 layers or more on your page or card. Then count each piece and add a point for each up to 15 pts.
Words/Titles:
W/T-1 What's your JAM? One point for each letter of the months April, May, &/or June in your title. Five points if you use the whole name of the month in your title.
W/T-2 Journalling challenge - let's use our words. 5 points for at least 50 words, 10 points for 150 words or more. 5 pt bonus if it's a journalling only layout (no photos)
W/T-3 Say it with alphas. For one point, include alpha stickers for all or part of a title or label. For a bonus of 2 points, use more than one font or colour.
W/T-4 Going Places - 1 pt for the name of a place on your project
W/T-5 Always Alliteration. create titles or sentiments that use alliteration.
W/T-6 Very Punny - use a pun for titles or sentiments.
W/T-7: Use these words/phrases for one point each: Happy, Oh What a Day, A (boy/girl) and his/her ————, Friends, Brothers/Sisters, Our Furry, The Great ————-.
W/T-8: Strip it down - journal on strips for 1 point/strip. And/or use word strips around your page, 1 point/word strip.
W/T-9: And I quote... | Add a quote to your project for 1 point. Something someone said, a line from a book, a song lyric, etc.
W/T-10: Typist | Use your typewriter or computer on your project for 1 point.
W/T-11: Multilingual | Earn 1 point for every extra language featured on your project.
Themes:
Th-1 Be contrary. Scrap the season that is OPPOSITE to the one you are in right now.
Th-2 Get Outside! Scrap your photos of the outdoors.
Th-3 Happy Easter. 1 point per Easter photo you scrap, 1 bonus point each if they are from 2022!
Th-4 Mother Love. 1 point per photo from Mother's day, 1 bonus point each if they are from 2022! Another bonus point if there is more than one mother in the photo!
Th-5 Good Ol' Dad. 1 point per photo from Father's day, 1 bonus point each if they are from 2022! Another bonus point if there is more than one Father in the photo!
Th-6 Travel time: June starts summer break for many. 1 point per photo of trips away from your regular residence. Bonus point each if it from 2022.
Th-7 Scrap your pets - I still have grand intentions of getting my cat pics scrapped lol
Th-8 If you build it, they will come -1pt for projects that focus on a structure
Th-9 All About You - create a project where YOU are focus. Take a bonus 5 points if any photos included ONLY have YOU in them!
Th-10: Inner Child - create a project using childhood photos or inspired by childhood memories or icons
Th-11: Oh, Baby - create a baby themed project. Take a bonus 5 points if you use NO pink or blue
Th-12: April is Autism Acceptance Month. Earn 5 points when you use an infinity sign, brain (neurodiversity), or red orange yellow green, blue, and purple on a card, layout, or PL/pocket page. Earn 5 extra points if you make a project about someone in your life who has Autism.

Th-13 School Theme (Can be Classwork, talent show or Field Trip)
Th-14: It's Walt's world | Make a Disney-centric project for 1 point (includes Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel Studios). Earn up to 5 bonus point for including (1 point max. per mentioned bonus category): mouse ears, polka dots, a Disney quote, a castle, the word 'magic' (in the language of your choice).
Th-15: Christmas in spring | (or autumn for our down under Peas) Include Christmas in your project (actual Christmas documenting and/or products from a Christmas line) for 1 point. Bonus 5 points if you're working away on Christmas 2021 memories. Bonus 5 points if it's a Christmas 2022 card.
Th-16: Happy, happy birthday. Scrap a birthday for 5 points. 25 points if it's your birthday
Th-17: Spruce it up - Your yard that is. Scrap about spring planting, yard clean up (think raking leaves), winter prep. 5 points
Th-18: My home town - Scrap about where you grew up. 5 points Bonus 10 points if you use a picture (yours or from on-line) of your home
Th-19: Now & Then - create a layout comparing two points of time. It can to show change, growth, progress, finished project, etc.
Th-20: TV/Movies - create a layout about anything related to programs or movies. Favorites, impactful, current binge.
Th-21: The Older the Better! Scrap your older photos. Choose your most recent photo on your LO, then calculate your points: - a photo older than 2020 - take 1 point per year (so 2019 = 1, 2000=20, and so on...).
Number/size:
N/S-1 Count the Pretty Patterns! One point for each different patterned paper used on your project.
N/S-2 Tons of Tiny Bling- 1pt for each enamel dot, Nuvo drop, gem, pearl, sequin, or other bit of bling we put on our projects.
N/S-3 Size queen revisited. 1 point for each size photo you have on your layout. (Example: two 3x4 photos is worth 1 point).
N/S-4: 2nd quarter clusters - 4, 5 or 6 items in a cluster, 2 points per cluster.
N/S-5: Half & half. Divide your page or card background in HALF - diagonal, vertical, horizontal. You don't have to use a solid paper/colour - your division could be a strip or line!
N/S-6 Big Picture- Use at least one picture on your layout that is larger than 4x6 - 5 points
N/S-7 MEGA CHALLENGE: Without the “Other” category, we have 0ver 90 challenges to play with. During the second quarter, complete at least TWENTY (20) of them for a bonus of FIFTY POINTS. If you can meet at least FIFTY (50) of them, claim a BONUS of TWO HUNDRED POINTS! These challenges do not have to be met all on one project; just all of them met and claimed over the quarter.
Recipes:
Re-1 Make it a combo! Any Sketchy Saturday sketch + one each of three regular challenge categories for 25 pts.
Re-2 - Simple as A,B,C - for 5 points: American Crafts, border punch, circles!
Re-3 - Complicated as 4, 5, 6 - for 10 points: use 4 Quadrants (like a grid, but could be asymetrical, and could be the whole page or just part of an element like your photo grid), 5 colours (black/white don't count), a cluster of 6 items.
Other:
O-1 Still Frosty - take 5pts for each day you are frozen, spending NO money on scrappy supplies. BONUS: Double your Frozen points for ANY 30 DAYS IN A ROW you can keep the freeze on.
O-2 Learning is "Fun"demental - 10 points for each class/instructional project completed (in person or online classes)
O-3 Sustain the Scrappy Economy. 1 point for every $1 spent on scrappy supplies
O-5 COMMENT! 1 point/comment left in the gallery or sharing thread.
O-6 Use it UP! Earn 1 point for finishing off a sticker sheet, 2 for a sheet of dots or gems, 3 for a jar or bottle of wet media or Nuvo drops, 4 for a roll of washi tape, 5 for a collection pack or page kit.
O-7 Chillin with the crafters - 1pt for each crafty video watched
O-8: Help the POTW project - 10 points if you message kitbop a suggestion for a PROJECT of the week. It's hard for me to keep up with all the wonderful projects!
O-9 Use those kits! Old or new, created by you or purchased, 5 points for using a kit for a layout or card.
O-10 Hey Mr. Postman: 5 points for every hand-made card mailed or donated!
