We are planning a fun filled weekend (INPD--International PEA Day weekend May 13th-15th) the week AFTER iNSD. But for the actual first Saturday in May event, what events/activities do you know about?
Scrapbook Generation is planning a four day virtual crop May 5th to 8th on a private facebook group for $17US. SG Celebration crop It looks fun, but as I don't go on fb I will have to pass.
What else ya got?

I'm joining Generation Celebration. It is actually $7 (not $17) and an awesome price for four days and lots of sketches. I've ordered tons of pictures and I'm matching them with collections so I can get as much done as possible.

I appreciate the price correction! Generation Celebration is $7. We have so many things planned and Allison and I both think that our sketches for this event are some of the best we’ve done. So anxious to share them! Hope to see lots of you there!

I really wish NSD was in winter! I always have so much going on in May. If I do get a chance to be inside scrapping I hope to catch some of SGs celebration. Looks like a good one!

It is often the same weekend as Mothers Day, then add in graduations and spring programs and May is always a challenge. Plus we have two family birthdays on May 9, so it is definitely a busy month.

We always host a big (free) online crop on our message board with some additional challenges in our private Facebook group and on our social media accounts. We'll have lots of games and challenges provided by our team and our message board regulars with tons of manufacturer and ACOT-sponsored prizes. We'll be running some sort of sale the whole weekend as well. Would love to have anyone interested come join! Edit: here's our blog post with more details

I am going to my first crop at my LSS since the pandemic. I am ridiculously excited and have been working hard to plan my layouts so I can maximize my productivity and fun. I have even taken an extra day off work so that I can enjoy three full days of scrapbooking (even if I will be masked while doing it!). I have a friend joining me, so it should be fantastic.

Citrus twist is doing some lives and challenges in their Facebook group. I’m doing the 11am EST live and scrapbooking about beer. I may drink a beer mimosa as well but can’t promise. 🤣

Janet RTS Scrapbooking is doing her Collection Cut Up again this year. I really enjoyed it last year. I don’t know if the paper will be cut differently this time but even if it’s not I’m sure she’ll make some great layouts. I’m might sub again just for this.

I'm participating in Scrapbook Generation's festivities. I usually do Paper Issues but I thought I'd switch it up this year. Especially since me and my friends are going to their We Create Crop in September.

I've also signed up for Generation Celebration. Due to the time difference I don't expect to be able to do much in real time, but I am looking forward to the sketches. I have started choosing the photos that I want to scrap, and will further narrow it down when I see the sketches.

I'm not planning to do much on the actual iNSD since I'll be with my family, so I'm taking full advantage of some free time today to scrap and celebrate. And I am planning to attend the 2peas event -- it's time I get back to scrapping at crops. I've missed you ladies, I'm very happy to have gotten my scrappy mojo back.

I wish it was winter too. It’s also national home brew day and hubby is pretty active in his club and hosting an event so he wins alone time for the day.

Time is getting away from us, and I wanted to extend an invitation to all of you to participate in one (or both) of Scrapbook Generation's two NSD virtual crops. Virtual crop #1 May 5-8, held in the SG Scrap Squad Facebook group of 9,000 members. This is a free activity with two challenges each day, a daily chat post, daily game, and random prizes for the challenges and games. Virtual crop #2...Generation Celebration May 5-8, held in the Generation Celebration Facebook group specifically for this event. Today, it looks like we will pass 1,000 participants in this crop. Big picture...16 new layout sketches from Allison Davis and myself, 8 card sketches, daily chats, several daily games, over 40 challenges (with no deadlines), door prizes totaling over $1,500, exclusive shopping perks at scrapbookgeneration.com, and access to a private NSD sale. This crop has a fee of $7. You can read more and register here: scrapbookgeneration.com/sales-events/generation-celebration/Whatever you do, and wherever you celebrate NSD, I hope you have a wonderful time with this hobby we all love so much.

Yeah, my purchase has been made worthwhile! I won a door prize just by joining the crop. A friend of mine who is now in Florida also won a prize, and I know she is playing along. Still won't have time to really do any crafting until maybe tonight, or tomorrow night, or maybe late Monday afternoon. Lacrosse tournament . . . . not that I don't want to go, just wish is wasn't on Mother's day weekend!

I don’t know of any pocket page things specifically. I have seen free events at Victoria Marie (in her FB group) A cherry on top, scrapbooks.com and scrapbooking and cards today. Maybe some of them have something?
