I can officially no longer differentiate between the different Maggie Holmes lines. Same goes for Paige Evans these days. It's just all the same to me.
Also, I miss Pink Paislee terribly so. It pains me to have so many repeated aesthetics with nothing new or surprising.
Same here except that Paige Evans at least makes an effort by slightly switching color tones. I'm pretty sure the Maggie Holmes sticker book I (regretfully) bought years ago will match her new collection perfectly.

For me, Print Shop is a win. I will probably buy the entire collection. The other collections don’t appeal to me as much and I’ll buy bits and pieces but not whole collections. There is something I dislike about Paige’s new collection… I think it’s the color scheme. It doesn’t feel cohesive to me at all.
Count me in the camp that feels like Maggie Holmes' collections all look identical now. I loved her early stuff, but the recent collections do nothing for me.
That Jen Hadfield collection looks very "Paige Evans" to me...I can probably skip it because I have enough similar paper.
I will pick up Print Shop. Vicki B's stuff gives me Basic Grey vibes and it makes me very happy. I am trying to convince myself I don't need her Christmas line.
Paige Evans Splendid - I think it looks dated. I wouldn't buy any of it. Maggie Holmes Parasol - It's pretty and I like it but I feel like I already own it because all her collections look the same at this point. Vicki Boutin Print Shop - I have the same reaction to all of her collections. They're beautiful but not for me. I know they'd be a challenge to work with. I bought Storyteller, made one layout, and the rest is gathering dust. I see gorgeous layouts made with her collections, though.
No Obed Marshall and no Pebbles. No Halloween either. I was really hoping for a Pebbles Halloween or Christmas.
Maggie Holmes and Vicki Boutin collections all look alike to me at this point. Take away the subtle nods to whatever theme they are going for and what's left is the same for every one. I know I will get the VB mixed media background paper pad because I really enjoy those. I also like the VB floral ephemera so I am likely to pick up that one as well. Everything else I have something similar enough from previous VB collections.
Jen Hadfield's collection looks more like a Paige Evans collection, especially the paper. The stickers look in line with what I'd expect to see for JH. I do like the ticket embellishments - I would like a pack of those! The alphas look like a pale purple or maybe a silver foil/holographic type finish. I'd like a better look at those.
I like about half of the papers in Paige's collection. The art style reminds me of her Horizon collection - especially in the stickers. I appreciate that it's a fall-ish line without smacking you in the face with autumn as most fall collections tend to do. I know I'm in the minority with my extreme dislike of fall collections.
Also, I think this is their summer release, rather than their summer (themed) collections.
Also, is it just my computer or do the graphics seem a little blurry on the AC blog? And I wish they had more detailed photos of each sheet of paper, etc.
I was going to ask the same thing. I can't tell if I do like the lines. Typically, I like some of the papers, but it's looking blurry to me too.
Interesting. I don't not like it, but it's a mash up of spring and fall.
I love it! I can see some great floral papers for cards and the springy colors mixed with fall themes suits me just fine. It's odd to me to look at fall product when we're still very much in spring here so maybe that's also influencing me. Is it normal for them to be showing their fall lines in May?
I noticed this at the bottom: Garden Shoppe should start shipping from the American Crafts warehouse in September 2022, however from past pre-order experiences, things trickle in so I anticipate shipping complete pre-orders by the end of September/early October. I've been told JoAnn will not be carrying this collection so be sure to request it at your local scrapbook store!

I didn't care for much of any of them based on the AC posts. But after seeing Vicki B flip through the papers on Instagram I really like Print Shop! They really need to advertise better.

This was exactly what I was going to post. The preview was eh but the flip through on instagram
Nothing that I really want to buy in these but I usually only pick up a few pieces here and there if AC things. This just gives me permission to buy things I really like from cocoa vanilla and such.
I am disappointed, but perhaps relieved, that Vicki B's Christmas collection is only 12 sheets of open stock paper. At least if I pick it up it isn't a ton of product. It looks like there are additional patterns in the paper pad, but I won't have a problem skipping that as the colours in AC pads are usually very muted/faded compared to the open stock paper.
CP Mittens & Mistletoe (smaller than the other pictures + contains error: B-side of the cardstock stickers is from last year's Busy Sidewalks collection)
Is it me or does it look like they slapped Jen Hadfield's name on somebody else's collection? That doesn't look like her usual style.
Yes don't recall her ever using so much pink! I like some of the designs...but why in the heck make figs bright hot pink?! It would've been a great paper if they were any color but pink.
Agree, it's all very samesies...they are following a (very boring, repetitive) formula.

I thought I saw that VB's collection has some black elements and BLACK Foundations paper! Foundations paper is fantastic for mixed media and Black opens up even more opportunities.
The only thing interesting that I'm seeing is Vicki's Print Shop collection if I'm honest. Everything else is just boring and not interesting at all. I love Vicki's collections most of the time so I'm not surprised that this is another I love. I am NEVER interested in Maggie Holmes' collections ... they literally look exactly the same, are not my style, and not remotely fun or interesting to me.
WTH does the “flowers are my happy place” in Paige’s line mean? Flowers are not a place. A garden is one place a person can find flowers. Does anyone actually proofread anymore?

It's just a twist on the phrase that is currently being used to indicate something that brings you comfort. I've seen so many "coffee is my happy place" sentiments on Etsy... It will age poorly though, and people will wonder why the heck such an odd and off way of putting it is in a scrapbook but oh well.

I really like the Paige Evans collection, but it does seem like some of the papers are more spring than fall. I'll definitely pick up the more fall looking ones, they're gorgeous.
The buttons in Paige's line a very retro and not in a good way. I do like a couple of the heart prints (*not* the one with buttons!) and the multicoloured leaf paper is pretty but not something I'd use.
Maggie's lines I barely look at. I already have enough overblown roses and swans in my stash and there is absolutely nothing in her collection that stands out as new or exciting.
The Jen Hadfield line is way brighter than I expected from her. I'm intrigued by the tickets and I quite like the epoxy shapes but am not sure I'd actually buy them.
Vicki's is the best of these releases I think. I love her phrase thickers so will likely pick those up. A couple of the papers appeal to me and the album is quite nice too.
Overall I'm very underwhelmed with these new lines, although I don't typically buy much by AC these days anyway, as someone upthread said, I'd rather spend my money on brands/collections I love.

I'm with sleepingbooty, I miss Pink Paisley. None of this grabbed me. I can see picking up some of the VB line but I'm kinda bummed I'm not loving much lately. I haven't loved my CD kits lately either so maybe it's me.
I'm honestly surprised the Maggie Holmes stuff still sells. I loved one of her collections when I got back into scrapping around 2013, bought the paper pad and a bunch of the ephemera, got sick of it fast, and then everything else has looked the same after that. I'm guessing it has too since they keep her on while they've let so many others go.
I saw on a YouTube video someone had some older Dear Lizzy, maybe Lucky Charm, and I had forgotten how much I had loved that line. I feel like AC was better back in those years but it could just be nostalgia on my part.
