We had snow this morning, trying to get me in the spirit. It is NOT working. Oh noes! Snow in May? What? It was 34°C/93°F in the sun this afternoon where I live. Gloriously summery. Sending you some sunshine and heat... 🌞🌡️🩴 It snowed. Middle of June. 1994. In Southern Ca. I have been up to Mammoth in mid August with snow on the ground. Weather is weird.

That SS Vintage Christmas Lodge is right up my alley. Also, I see weiner dogs in one of those collections. I know we have some wiener dog moms here. 🌭🐾

I'm betting $5 that PP uses that CP line in their DD release. I won't be mad about it either. :X

edited - Baking Spirits bright - I like the idea as I do lots of Christmas baking but...I don't really care for it
I like the black and white diecut pack from Vicki Boutin. I like a couple of papers in Christmas Lodge. Two papers from Hearth and Home. I do like that 6x8 binder, but I don't do that size for Christmas.
Nothing else is standing out as a must buy. I don't mind a little pink in a Christmas line, but don't love it as one of the dominant colors.

Yay! I'm so happy to see this thread. I had no idea so many Christmas 2022 lines had been released/previewed already. I love quite a few bits and pieces from some of the lines - Vicki Boutin in particular was a stand out for me last year and I had no idea she was doing another one. The hard part is always refraining from buying too early, incase I love something even more later. Keep 'em coming and thanks sleepingbooty for getting us started again.

I love him, he’s one of the few things I like. Love him/her too. We don't have these where I live so I'm just pretending it's one of those fierce honey badgers. 😄 This thread is messing with my "time passage awareness disorder" and also giving me déjà vu (talking about that is also giving me déjà vu because I know this isn't the first time I've cut and pasted that from wikipedia to make sure I get all the accents right!) But regardless of my shaking my head at planning Christmas scrapbook shopping in May I'm totally thrilled about the escape artist honey badger and will be sending him to my friends to laugh at, so thank you, CP Xmas skunk and Booty

A festive skunk...if I add that to the family scrapbooks, they will think I've lost my mind... Funny thing is, I could potentially use that! When my son was in kindergarten, for the Christmas play the kindergartners could be forest animals. Of course my son wanted to be a skunk. So, I made him a costume and a big, soft, stuffed, fuzzy tail. The other kids couldn’t keep their hands off it! I’ve scrapped some of those photos, but probably have a few more.

Everything so far is a big miss for me. Nothing stands out, which is good since I have soooo much Christmas stuff. It is my weakness. I’m hoping IACB comes out with something I like.

I may get the SS layered stickers just so I can have the Santa on ice skates. That is my favorite style of Santa.

The hard part is always refraining from buying too early, incase I love something even more later. And then there will be the actual December Daily release. And then we finally get a peak at the forever-marching-to-the-beat-of-their-own-drum Pinkfresh holiday release. And then the indie designers put out their special kits. Buying Christmas goodies is a long and hard process every year, I swear! This thread is messing with my "time passage awareness disorder" and also giving me déjà vu (talking about that is also giving me déjà vu because I know this isn't the first time I've cut and pasted that from wikipedia to make sure I get all the accents right!) But regardless of my shaking my head at planning Christmas scrapbook shopping in May I'm totally thrilled about the escape artist honey badger and will be sending him to my friends to laugh at, so thank you, CP Xmas skunk and Booty French language be like: You're gonna need to Google this. Every single time, hon hon hon. Aww, so happy to be spreading the Stoffel love! I feel like he'd make for a fun Santa challenge: figure out a way to get into the barricaded house on Christmas eve, lil dude (he would, of course). The *scratching side* "Computer's working!" bit of this video has become a meme between my SO and I. We'll pretend-scratch and say it when we try to figure out how to get something done like taking our old sofa down the narrow staircase of our building when we got rid of it recently... When my son was in kindergarten, for the Christmas play the kindergartners could be forest animals. Of course my son wanted to be a skunk. So, I made him a costume and a big, soft, stuffed, fuzzy tail. The other kids couldn’t keep their hands off it! Oooh, that's adorable! I love how the skunk become the most petted animal in that play. A Christmas skunk? I can't even. Having had waaaay too many skunk experiences already in my life...I'm a firm pass. It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas... Please excuse me while I run and finish last year's project using last year's Simple Vintage Christmas line so I have an excuse to buy this one! Christmas in May! Christmas in June! Christmas in July! You got this, ghislaine .

Anything with a dachshund is an absolute must-have. Always need a doxie fix. 🥰
It’s so early and I’m sooooo not ready to think about Christmas 😵💫, so nothing else is grabbing me at the moment.

And Cocoa Vanilla! I picked up last year's on sale this year. Such a fun collection. I noticed this past weekend that a lot of stores still have last year's Cocoa Vanilla's Joyful collection in stock - did it not sell well? I thought it was quite pretty. I also thought maybe it shipped late and that was the problem - my local Bulk Barn (bulk grocery store, everything is in bins), for instance, got all of their Christmas candy in in mid-January this year due to supply chain issues, I felt so bad for them - and for me, because I couldn't fill our stockings with our favourite candies this past Christmas! Bulk Barn is the place to get Christmas candy, they have massive bins of dozens and dozens of different candies and chocolates - all empty this past Christmas. It was sad. I love Mix-and-a-Mingle, the dogs are adorable. I'd like to see more dogs in Christmas scrapbook collections, honestly.

Well what a surprise. /s So much red and green. Ugh. Even if I didn't live in the Southern Hemisphere where it's summer at Christmas, I still wouldn't like using those awful traditional colours. Surely I can't be the only person who doesn't like those drab colours?! Someone? Anyone? And that Simple Vintage Christmas Lodge is the worst! (I should just shut the heck up. It bugs the crap out of me when people are so negative, and yet here I am! Remind me next year not to even open the Christmas threads hahaha!)

The CP line is cute enough, the little bear with the string lights is adorable.
The VB is just too drab for me, I prefer a bright and crisp white in my Christmas pages, and I'm not a huge fan of the SS lines for the same reason (although I at least like the colour scheme in the Mix and a Mingle line.
Overall these are fine, but there's nothing I feel I have to have.

Surely I can't be the only person who doesn't like those drab colours?! I think one's natural environment, effects of the actual season Yuletide takes place in where one lives and associations through life, particularly in childhood, play a lot in the appreciation of the traditional Christmas colours. I get why they're so big even though they're not necessarily my personal preference. I'm surprised that there's still a pretty heavy use of colour in most 2022 Christmas lines seen so far. I thought for sure a few companies would throw in more white space, à la 2016 era. Particularly those going for non-traditional colour schemes. Has anyone spotted the back of the ephemera pack in Mittens & Mistletoe featuring the photo of all pieces? I'm trying to figure out which icons from the line they included in that but no luck yet.

STOFFEL (sorry CP skunk, you are now an escapist honey badger) IS IN THE ICON EPHEMERA PACK! My heart just grew three sizes... ETA: The embellishments in Mittens & Mistletoe will be great additions to use up former CP Christmas lines in my opinion, especially with those gold foil and kraft cardstock elements.

I think this is so true sleepingbooty. I don't normally use the true red and green traditional Christmas colors in my every day scrapping, but I love it when it comes to Christmas because those colors are what come to my mind when I think of the holiday season. That said, I loved all the different colors in last year's PinkFresh collection, so I am anxiously awaiting to see what they come out with this year....though my wallet could use a break right now, so if they hold off for a bit in their release, I won't mind too much!
