I want to answer yes and no. I store by brand then collection. It’s just how my brain works when approaching a layout. Since it’s relatively easy to pull a collection, that’s what I do. If I need additional paper, I usually look to the same brand. I’ll mix up Basic Grey collections but wouldn’t usually add in Doodlebug for example. I may add in some Vicki Boutin though. It depends on the aesthetic I’m using for that layout. That’s probably about as clear as mud! Lol I don't organize by collection, they are organized by theme. For me, it's more about aesthetic too. Something more masculine or neutral, I'll look at my heritage, camping, or boy papers.

I think I’ve only bought two collections. Both Vicki Boutin. My definition of collection is everything available under the collections name, e.g. Color Study. For a long time I selectively picked what I liked from a collection. Recently, I’ve been picking up the paper packs with the cardstock stickers included. Yet I will mix everything up when creating a layout or album.
