Another person whose Q2 was a bust. Lots of organizing and shopping and “other crafts” points.
Hoping Q3 goes better. I should have quite a bit of free time in July. I’m in.

I’m in too, please. MichyM don’t worry about points. Last quarter was my first time and I thought I’d ruin it for my team with points- I don’t even know which team had the highest points last time so it’s not really a big focus. It’s more just a fun way to keep on track. Thank you. ETA: oops, this part turned out to be quite a little hijack: The last few weeks I've barely been doing any cardmaking. Just a lot of shopping  I mean... I received an online order yesterday, and did some in person shopping, and I've spent quite a while today sucked down the AliExpress metal dies wormhole. And if I hit the buy button, then I'm going to need more storage envelopes and magnetic inserts. And, and, and.... Plus, I have a Container Store order coming that has a few storage items for paper as well. I'm a spending mess! <------ Wow, clearly I need to get that off my chest and fess up, sorry for the diversion girls! Didn't I see a no spending challenge posted a while back? How'd that go? ANYHOW, hopefully just the little nudge of being on a team will help me get some cardmaking mojo back! BTW paget , will your new house have a dedicated crafting room for you? |

Didn't I see a no spending challenge posted a while back? How'd that go? Team members set the challenges during the first week of the quarter. In the last two quarters, we have had a challenge to NOT spend for 10 pts per day, with bonus if you can keep it up for a set length of time. BUT we have also had a challenge that offers one point for every dollar spent. So a day shopping always earns more than a day being frozen ha ha... |

MichyM I haven’t exactly decided where my scrap room will be in my new house. There are multiple options which is a good thing! I really like to be in spaces before decided how I really want them/how they will work for me. After designing our house I realized what I really love is my scrap space in our rental! It is very small. It’s like a Weird storage closet (smaller then a bedroom). I have desks arranged in a U shape and a shelving until and I love that I can basically reach everything without getting up from my chair! I wish I would have known that and been able to design a little space like this for the new house! I’ll probably end up setting up shop in a room I’ve designated for a guest room and it can do double duty as I don’t think I want a whole normal sized room devoted to crafting.

The evening before, I will put you on a team, and when I post the teams you will be tagged. At the same time I will post a Q-3 Challenge thread which will be open until July 7th for new challenges to be posted by the team members. Shortly after the teams are announced, your team leader will start a thread tagging all her team members to welcome everyone. Then it is a matter of getting crafty! If the challenges spur you on, wonderful! If you are--like furryp--a freelancer, just do your own thing, then take a look and see how many challenges you met. There are a couple of ways to count points, and if you have trouble, you can always ask your team to help explain it, or tag me. |
