Is this real? I’ve seen it now from two sources.

Considering wealthy white women will always have the option of having abortions elsewhere, it is not really a victory for white life is it.?

Yes it’s real. She also says Hitler got it right. That’s the Republican Party. If you still, in 2022, identify as a republican, THIS IS YOU! Fuck your excuses, this is you, your husband, your parents, your children, your friends!

Her people are saying that she read the wrong words and it was supposed to be “the right to life”. Right….she also gave a speech not long ago where she quoted Hitler.
On her Twitter she also put a picture of her family (not all white) to justify that she misspoke.
You would think she would realize it right away if it really wasn’t what she was thinking.

The bitch said it on purpose because it is exactly what she meant.
Before Roe v Wade wealthy women were able to access abortions, this isn’t going to make any difference in their lives at all.

Yes, she said white life. Quote Hitler in another!...
For us there is no room to misspeak.
They keep telling us Biden has dementia, who has a documented stutter.
What's her reason other then following her great leader to the 1776 Revolutionary Airport!!

JFC. How are we all supposed to live peacefully together in one country? With those attitudes, let’s face it, so prevalent among the deplorables?

What's her reason other then following her great leader to the 1776 Revolutionary Airport!! Yes, she said that. Apparently it was a slip over "right to life". "A historic victory for white life." Doesn't even make sense. It isnt. It doesnt even have anything to do with race, so she would not have said it. "A historic victory for right to life." does make sense. As far as Biden's stutter... A stutter doesn't make you forget that you're running for president and not for senate. Twice. A stutter doesn't make you ramble on and reminisce about letting kids playing with your leg hair decades ago. A stutter doesn't make you read the stage directions from the teleprompter. A stutter doesn't make you keep admitting that "they" won't let you take questions, to say that "they" are going to be mad at him. A stutter doesn't make you forget words, concepts, people's names and that this is the Biden presidency, not the Harris presidency. A stutter doesn't make you say "We're in the process of deciding what I think." in response to a reporter's question. There's a reason why even most democrats don't want him to run again.

I teach critical thinking for a living, thanks, and no comments on my effectiveness. I and my evaluators are highly confident in my skills and abilities in this area, and you are an Internet troll. You are not advocating for critical thinking. You absolutely used a logical fallacy to try to make some kind of point, and all you are doing is looking stupid. Biden's ability to speak clearly is not at issue here. We are discussing a candidate who is a known right-wing conservative bigot, and racist, whose verbal misstep could easily be taken as a Freudian slip if not an outright intentional comment based on her past behavior. That's the topic. ETA: Here's why a comment like "white life" makes sense in this context: www.salon.com/2019/07/14/alt-right-handmaidens-and-the-white-baby-challenge/www.milwaukeeindependent.com/thom-hartmann/browning-america-anti-abortion-efforts-fundamentally-shortage-white-babies/In addition to chewing on jeans, please go jump in a lake of fire. Former Rep Steve King aped, “We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.”
So who is going to adopt all these new babies?!?! OR If women are home raising 5- 7 kids, who is going to pay the bills?!?!

If I accidentally called something “a historic victory for white life” when I actually meant to say “right to life,” you can bet the rent money I would hear myself say it and fall all over myself to fix it. Immediately, not the next day after normal people started complaining about it.
But then, I don’t have a history of making white supremacist comments already.
Go ahead, keep on defending the indefensible.

Neither she nor her husband like to take responsibility for their actions, I see. Basically, a buddy gave me the decal and I thought it was cool. Took it down when the negative publicity started. But the fake news made up this fake story to begin with. Right. And then "people are trying to twist my words." Now this.

How do you explain the crowd cheering to that? Possibly they understood that she meant to say "right to life" and just let the stumble go? I have never heard of her until this, but I have a hard time believing that even if she is a white supremacist, why would she bother to say that out loud in a speech if she's just going to back track on it when someone calls it out? And she seems intelligent enough to have put some thought into it while supposedly writing those words in her speech, to know someone would, especially in this political climate. I understand I could be wrong about her, but the thought process attributed to her meaning to say that just doesn't make sense to me.

She didn't quote Hitler by mistake. She knew exactly what she was doing when she quoted him. She knew he was an evil, hateful, anti-Semitic, racist, misogynistic, xenophobic fascist dictator. Yes, she apologized but it probably had the intended effect of stirring up the base. When these white supremacists tell you exactly who they are, believe them. It's highly unlikely that she changed her stripes in 18 months, she has just gotten better at covering up her racist remarks. www.npr.org/2022/06/26/1107710215/roe-overturned-mary-miller-historic-victory-for-white-lifeIn her primary in a deep red district, she's running to the right of Davis, another current sitting congressman. Davis withdrew his support for Trump in 2016 after the Inside Hollywood clip was released. She's courting the MAGA vote and it's not surprising that she would make a white supremacy comment at a rally with Trump at her side. She's also supported by the Koch brothers. www.news-gazette.com/opinion/columns/tom-kacich-miller-holds-trump-card-over-davis-in-15th-district-primary/article_02cad4ea-2ec5-594a-93d7-1b7032d98360.html

I'm just speculating, but one can pretend to make a mistake, getting their message to the racist pigs listening loud and clear, then step it back so they aren’t completely admitting that they are racist scum. It allows them to say what they really feel and what their base wants to hear without taking ownership.

It seems that at the very least she is an idiot and is extremely tone deaf. She does not seem qualified to be an elected official. At worst… I’m also not going to give people at the rally a pass. Trump and his supporters have shown us who they are. Believe them.

I understand I could be wrong about her, but the thought process attributed to her meaning to say that just doesn't make sense to me. Thanks to some extreme gerrymandering, I now live in the Illinois 15th district that Mary Miller and Rodney Davis are competing to represent. I can assure you that Ms. Miller is far from "intelligent," and you *are* very wrong about this. I have zero doubt that she meant every word she said. She has a known history of inflammatory speech. It sickens me that she has been my representative for these past two years. She has been a puppet for all of the most disgusting far-right conspiracy theory lunatics since she won her seat in 2020. Her husband is a Republican Illinois Representative who displays a Three Percenter logo on his pickup truck. The couple appeared rather out of nowhere to win their elections during Trump's presidency. But they sure do seem to have a lot of money supporting them! Her behavior, rhetoric, and attitude are fully equivalent to MTG and Lauren Boebert. But now, it appears that many Republicans are even disavowing her. The word on the street around here is that the latest gerrymandering is a purposeful attempt to get rid of Mrs. Miller by pitting her against a long time popular politician in Rodney Davis. I used to have some respect for Rodney Davis as he seemed committed to serving the agricultural communities in his district. But he has changed his tune of late and has also hopped on the "the election was stolen" bandwagon and backing Trumpkins. Having met the man, I *know* he is intelligent. Sadly, he will not be punished for his alliance with the crazy people as he is the least of the two evils competing for a now even more solidly red district.
