I've had my for a couple of weeks now and I love it! So far I've made a watermelon sorbet and cookies 'n' cream ice cream. Going to make a strawberry banana smoothie bowl for breakfast tomorrow. It's been so hot, it's nice to be able to take pretty much any fruit and make it into a cool snack.
If you have it, do you love it? and what have you made so far that you love?

I have no idea what this is, but anything that supports my fruit bat tendencies peeks my curiosity. Off to be enabled! 😆

I have been eyeing it - do you have to freeze the bowls for several hours/overnight before making something?
ETA: I see the bowls are clear but it seems you have to freeze the ingredients first - how long do you have to freeze and how much does a general batch make?

It comes with 3 pints. You put your ingredients in the pints and then it needs to freeze for 24 hours. I was thinking about buying a few more pints, so I can just keep them in the freezer until Im ready to make something.

I have an ice cream maker but it has never really frozen properly IMO. I like that you can make pint size things with the Cremi. I think I will put this on my birthday / Christmas wish list Thanks for the info

I think I want one. I’ve given up ice cream because of the sugar but I do still eat some fruit. It would be nice to make sorbet in the summer when everyone else is eating ice cream!

I love mine. So far we have just done the basics- chocolate and vanilla. I want to try some fruit next. We do a taco bar for our family Christmas dinner and I made a dulce de Leche for that. I love all my Ninja appliances and I was still surprised at how good the ice cream is in it. I'm glad I bought it.

I have never heard of this, but now I think I need one. Thank you? This is exactly what went on in my head! I put the website that tells more about them on my “purchase after the move” list.

Well, darn it, I was thinking I could pass until I looked a few recipes and realized dairy free and sugar free would be easy. Now the big question is, do I wait until Christmas?

I bought one on impulse and love it. I dump a couple 100 calorie, snack size (prepackaged) mango fruit cup and 1 cup of mandarins (in light syrup), stir in 1/2 cup of fat free vanilla yogurt and freeze.
Use the machine to make it into a creamy sorbet and it’s delish.

It looks amazing! We have been super happy with our other ninja products. This is definitely being added to our watch list. Anyone suppose there's any hope of prime having one as a deal on prime Day??

Why did I read this? Seriously thinking about it now. I do not like ice cream, haven’t eaten it in years. But sorbets, I love.

I was a tester of this before it came to market. It works great, just gotta store it somewhere! That's my big issue. I don't really like things on the counter and right now this is competing with my mixer. I would love to ditch the coffee maker, but SO would have a fit.

I assume it comes with a cookbook, is it pretty good or have you been using recipes from online? Mine arrives tomorrow, I cannot wait to try it out. Also, can you freeze ingredients longer then 24 hours do you know?

Also, can you freeze ingredients longer then 24 hours do you know? I've only made two more things since I created this thread, but I've liked them both. It does come with a cookbook, but I mainly use their website (ninjatestkitchen.com) or search on pinterest. I made a rocky road ice cream (yum!) and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl. I liked them both but I need to play around to figure out how I can reduce the carb counts (I'm T1Diabetic). I keep frozen fruit and use it to make smoothies, so I don't see a problem for going past the 24 hours. That reminds me - i need to order a couple extra pints. I hope you love it as much as i do!

I'm curious about this as well, but wondering how it is different than a regular electric ice cream maker?

I'm curious about this as well, but wondering how it is different than a regular electric ice cream maker? For me it is the speed and ease and not having to store some big old bowl in my freezer. I can mix ingredients 24 hours ahead and then the next night have ice cream ready to eat in 5 minutes.

I'm curious about this as well, but wondering how it is different than a regular electric ice cream maker? I was thisclose to purchasing the Ninja until I watched the “just a dad” video that’s posted on Amazon. He compares the Ninja to a Cuisinart ice cream maker. From what I can tell, one of the biggest differences - from what I am understanding-is the freezing process and how it affects the final product. The traditional Cuisinart ice cream maker freezes and stirs the mixture - the resulting frozen concoction is creamier and more like soft serve ice cream. For the Ninja, you freeze your mixture first. The blade slowly lowers in the Ninja Creami - essentially it is shaving small layer after small layer - of the already frozen mixture resulting in an icier and slightly flaky frozen mix. I think that would be great for sorbets, but I prefer really creamy ice cream. I hope someone can tell me if I am completely wrong about this. I look forward to hearing other users thoughts.

I was thinking about buying a few more pints, so I can just keep them in the freezer until Im ready to make something. The Prime Day deal version only comes with 1 pint. I can verify that, as mine was delivered a few hours ago. I just ordered 2 more pint containers. Even spending an extra $20 on more pint containers, the prime day price still made it cheaper.

I ordered my extra pints from Target since Amazon was sold out of the 4 pack. A tad bit cheaper and I can pick up tomorrow and Amazon was saying Saturday delivery for some reason.

All the sites I saw said that if it was flaky to just remix. He could be right, but all the reviews I found were super positive. Time will tell, I will report back for sure when I get mine.

I have a cuisanart ice cream maker that I don’t use as much as I thought I would. I need to remember to put the bowl in the freezer. I’m looking for some recipes that are lower fat/calorie but that aren’t rock hard if you freeze it for later. My understanding is that the fat is what makes it creamy.

I poured a can of pineapple packed in juice (I happened to have in the pantry) in my pint container and put it in the freezer, per the booklet that came with the Creami. I will report back how my sorbet is tomorrow night. I am a huge sorbet fan and am hoping this machine will work well for me.
I also have a bag of fresh lemons 🍋 that I plan to turn into lemon sorbet next.

So far, pineapple sorbet and pineapple/mandarin orange sorbet have been made and immediately consumed. Even my dh ooh’d and ahh’d over the pineapple/Mandarin orange sorbet tonight. His comment (not being aware of the name of the product) was “it's so creamy!” 😂
Eta: I have carefully inspected the lid after running it through the dishwasher and there doesn't appear to be any guck stuck up there.
