Ok girls, what is something that spoke to you SO strongly that you HAD to have it right away? Like you clicked BUY before you could stop yourself. My most recent is THIS STAMP AND DIE SETI need it like I need another hole in my head....did your parents use that phrase when you were growing up? I justified it to myself since it is my birthday month. But with that purchase I need to stay away from all the card and scrapbooking stores/designers for a while. Who's next?

Awesome set. We received a similar one in the last SCT card class.
My mom used that phrase on me all the time growing up.

I was thinking to myself....eh. But then I saw all the cards made with it, and I really like it! But then as usual I won't have the perfect ink colors, and then it becomes an ink buying spree also. I think I will just let this one slide out of my head and move on to other things.

It's very cute. I have almost the same exact set by Stamps of Life. It's a fun set for the summer! I don't usually get the "gotta have its," but the last release from 49 and Market, Spectrum Sherbet, called very loudly to me. I pre-ordered it online, got tired of waiting for it, went to my scrapbook store (over an hour away), and bought it in person. I cancelled the pre-order when I got home. Their next release is already starting to call to me, and it isn't even out yet. Please don't ask me if I've used Spectrum Sherbet yet.

Ha, I ended up buying some of the blues and greens from this release when I saw it in person. including 2 differetn embellishment packs. Have I cut into it yet? NOPE. I completely understand

I went a little insane over the holiday weekend with all of the sales (plus I was "influenced" to buy some interactive dies after Jennifer McGuire's video last week 😆). I immediately bought the A7 storefront die, flower shop add on die and the add on die to make the storefront pop up from Scrappy Tails right after Jennifer's video was posted. Two weeks ago, I bought a lot of the beach stamps/dies from MFT Stamps, then placed a second order over the weekend to get the one die I originally passed on (the palm trees, because I already have two different Lawn Fawn palm tree dies). I placed two semi large orders at Butterfly Reflections, Ink. I bought a Sizzix kooky flamingo die set on Amazon (Gladys Colorize die set). And I placed an order for a long-ago retired Avery Elle stamp set that I have the dies for already (Balloon Giraffe). I don't even know why I bought the dies when I didn't have the stamp set lol. I'm excited to get everything! I do have a beach cabana made from the MFT order so far, just need time to finish up the card.

I think I bought all the summer MFT collection too. The ocean wave and palm tree dies are perfect for the summer card swap we're doing. On a side note, the altenew stamp is so cute. But I bought way too much summer stamps and dies.

Those dies are super cute. I especially love what they did with the birdhouse for a Christmas card! And after googling, I can see how you got fixated on the Sunkissed collection and just had to have it.

My latest “had to have” was a Queen & Co.shaker card kit with an adorable cart that can be turned into a flower cart, lemonade cart, hot dog and pretzel cart, or you-name-it-and-be-creative cart. Here is the link below. Some card samples are also shown. On their Facebook Royalty page, Q&Co. fans have been very, very creative with it. Cart Shaker Kit

I'm trying to be good , but I would love to have this. Do they sell these kind of kits for a long time or are they a one time thing? Their new kits, especially the popular ones, usually tend to stick around for at least a little while. The problem is that once they sell out, it can take a long time to get the kits back in. I had to wait literally months for one Easter/spring themed kit, and by the time I got it, it was long past the season to use it. I hesitated too long, then saw some card examples that made me realize it was more versatile than I had thought. There were some hand made shaker bits in the new cart kit that were a one time offering. I think they have already sold out. (I may have to get some Sculpy clay and try to make my own refills.) Because some kits take a long time to restock, I watch the “Coming Soon” section so I can be ready to buy the kits I like when they are first offered. I have no affiliation with Queen & Co. (other than as a customer who buys far too much from them), but they have very cute, versatile designs. Their kits include phrase stamps and a 6x6 paper pad, as well as the shaker foam for making quick and easy shaker cards. I don’t make that many shaker cards, but I do use the dies. The recent cat in a box interactive card that I posted recently was made with their dies.

I wasn’t planning to buy anything more for awhile, but yesterday I wanted to watch a craft video while doing dishes, and came across one by Jennifer McGuire that I hadn’t seen (I don’t watch videos that often, so I don’t know how new it is). She showed how to make a card that instantly pops up into a 3D shape as soon as it is removed from the envelope. There it was, in the video. It was a company that I had never heard of before. The dies are currently only available for pre-order right now, but I placed an order.

I thought my post originally had an explanation that this was a card design I’ve been trying to track down for several years. Sorry to take so long, but here is the link to her video: Instant Pop Up Cards

MichyM Did you see Jennifer McGuire posted a new video using this set? Yep, the photos crossed my IG feed this morning. I love that she made peek-a-boo holes in them. Thanks for leaving the video link here, it'll remind me to get back to it. So far I've mad a handful of cards using the watermelon die (some for the summer card exchange), and I definitely need to get back to using the set.
