I was super excited about the Ninja creami a few months ago. Ordered one that was a qvc today special value. It was a great deal. Right before it arrived, people in a facebook group started showing the nastiness that was growing in the spin lid and there was no way to get it out. I got super grossed out and sent it back without opening it. I wanted to love it so bad. If you all get yours, let me know if you have the same issues. I might be willing to order another.

I just looked at the lid. There are a number of holes - not big enough to get a brush in there, but enough for soapy liquid to enter and exit. I will be using the top rack of the dishwasher for cleaning mine. And maybe soak it in a bowl of bleach water once a month or so. I think that it shouldn't be an issue, especially now that I know to check (it is translucent so you can see if there is anything stuck there where it shouldn't be). THANKS for the heads up. ❤️

Please come back and give us a review after you have a chance to try your Creami. I’m really intrigued by this. I have a Cuisinart 1.5 qt ice cream maker that I like and that we use pretty frequently, but it is annoying to have to wait another several hours for the ice cream to totally freeze up enough to scoop with it. Will do! I just poured a can of pineapple packed in juice in the container and put it in the freezer (difficult recipe in the booklet 😂). I will hopefully have yummy pineapple sorbet tomorrow night. This is what I want to do! But I was cheap, they offered me a $3.00 credit to wait for my normal prime shipping day. I love getting those credits for kindle books

I just *had* to buy something... I was feeling left out, lol! I finally bought some Swedish dishcloths, and a 'slime' type thing that you stick on the vents, etc. in the car, or on your keyboard, etc. to pull up the dust. (hey, for $6, I figure if it works even just decent, it's okay with me.) And not a Prime deal, but one of our dogs has an absolute *favorite of favorites* stuffed toy that's falling apart and is almost too ratty to play with, so I bought a replacement for it. (well, fingers crossed, anyway- it's not exactly the same, but hopefully he'll think it's close enough and approve, lol.) I also bought the slime thing today. Had no idea I needed it until I saw it. We are do for a major car & truck cleaning so we will wait until it arrives.

Another un-fun thing I bought was vacuum storage bags because I'm moving two kids across the country in the next 2 months. vacuum storage bags
My dog had a seizure this weekend and my vet wants to take him off Nexgard just in case and suggested trying Advantix. They have that as a Prime Day deal. And I ordered a travel make up mirror that was a lightning deal yesterday.

Well, I couldn't help myself. I never impulse buy anything, but I impulse bought the stupid Instant Pot coffee pod thing. It's my 3rd IP item, since I also have the IP, the IP Vortex air fryer and now this. My sil told me that Trader Joe's has pods for Nespresso and I know they have K cups, too. After the hairdresser tmw I'll have to go to TJ's and do some browsing. I succumbed. My current single cup brewer isn't working as well and they don't make it anymore.
I also bought a new cheese grater and meat thermometer. How exciting!

1. You curly girls are driving me NUTS!!!!!! (Feeling sick w Covid and wishing I had good products so I could just wash & leave my hair curly for these 2 weeks...... I have NOTHING & DD's curly products don't work on my THICK, long springy curls). 2. **** We're in dire need of a new vacuum. I'm looking on Amazon for a stick vacuum with great suction for carpeted floors, easy to push, long-lasting use time. Any suggestions (under $110 would be GREAT). My sis said she'd send me the $$ today if I find a great sale on Amazon). THANKS!! Hope you feel better soon.

This is the 1st year I’ve found things to buy on prime day. Nothing fun or exciting, but lots & lots of everyday stuff for 30-50% off. I do have my eye on an elliptical, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I also got a start on my Christmas shopping!

DD is still struggling through dizziness, excess coughing and congestion and stomach issues. I have some congestion left and my chest hurts, but it's getting a little better each day. It's hard to sleep or relax. I hope that this doesn't continue spreading as easily as it has been, and I hope that everyone here is feeling okay tonight. Be safe! xo

I bought at least three Christmas gifts, so my December self will be glad I did that. On the whole I didn't get anything too exciting - a new bowl for bringing salads to work, charger cords, silicone baking mats, academic calendar planner, overnight lip mask, and that's about it. There will definitely be something delivered that I forgot about.
One thing I will not do is ask Alexa where my stuff is. I did that a couple years ago and it sounded a lot worse than I thought it would.

I didn’t buy much. Only great deal was trading in my Show 5 and getting the Show 8 plus blink camera for only $35.

Not sure if this is a Prime Day deal, but if you ask Alexa to order a Kasa Smart Plug Mini, the price is $3.50. You have to add it to your cart via Alexa, but can checkout via tablet, laptop, etc.

So I did some damage on Prime Day again this year LOL. I also did some early Christmas shopping and got some stuff that DH added to our watch list.
The items listed below as "needed" were things I had already planned to buy, and I was actually waiting for Prime Day to purchase if the price was right.
compression socks nylon flat whisk washing machine cleaner tabs (just finished the package bought on Prime Day during COVID) car vent cleaner slime bird/deer mesh to cover our our fruit trees (DH added this to my list) lightning cables vacuum sealer bags cornhole game bag (sort of needed -- our box for the game is literally held together by duct tape that is failing) Ptouch lablels (I'm reorganizing my office)
I don't necessarily need these, but I had been looking at most them and probably would have purchased eventually.
pizzelle maker swedish dishcloths (Refupea-enabled purchase) KN95 masks (not a "need" at the moment but wanted to replenish the stash) hand grip strengthener (wanted to try to build strength as I am having trouble with things like opening jars) fitted tablecloth for folding table washi tape the Ninja CREAMi (Refupea-enabled purchase, buyer's remorse already, will probably return) decorative hardware for our garage doors (DH) exfoliating shower towel
I also did some early Christmas shopping.
hammock (gift for DD) reusable bags (really cute prints and will be used for Christmas gift wrapping for my DDs this year) a smoker gun/dome (gift for DD)
I picked "no-rush" shipping for just about everything and earned $20+ in digital rewards.

I got a spot carpet cleaner, some new towels, kitchen washcloths, and beach towels. I got a couple of random things I saw good deals on that I use around the house like a bottle of Lysol laundry sanitizer. It was all stuff I had planned on buying at some point, and I don't know how much of it was a special deal for Prime days vs. regular prices (anyone else notice it's kind of hard to tell sometimes?) but it was all reasonable and "necessary."

I ordered a vacuum. I'm not sure it was a Prime deal but it was a lightning deal and I got it on Prime Day so...
We had someone out to look at the a/c on our heat pump and they keep complaining it's filthy (the inside) even though I clean the vents once a month, and have three air purifiers going 24/7... So I'm hoping a new vacuum (we don't have carpet) will help with whatever is making my house extra dusty.
