PSA - be careful cutting apart the dies. I thought I was being careful but lost one of the dies when it flew after I snipped. It’s a very tiny one. Have been looking but haven’t found it yet. Maybe put the dies and your clippers in a box and cut them in there. That might reduce the risk of one flying.

You can do it in a ziploc bag. And you can see thru it and catches everything.

It will hopefully pull it out. I have dropped a few at my friend's, who has thick carpet in her studio. This is what we do to find them.

I finally went through the box and separated by classes. Everything is there, HURRAH.
I thought I'd begin doing homework from the first Friday class onward. Am I missing where to find the homework for that class, Crafter's Companion? I totally cannot find it in a PDF/in the group.
Also, I'm finally logged back on the FB group. Other than the emails from SCT, are there any other attachments/info that I'd really find helpful and should look at? Do I miss much by not being involved in the group until events begin with the unboxing?
Thanks a bunch!

Drag it slowly everwhere. There are others, this happens to be the one I got for our garage but stole it. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RB3XBA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1Yikes, how annoying, good luck! I snip inside a little bathroom type trash can insert (that’s only used for clean trash) that looks like a bucket that I put on my lap. If it falls it’s in the trash can. Or like azcrafty said, a large baggie works well. The size/depth of the trash can just happens to be the most convenient for me.

Yay! How far did it fly? Inquiring nosy minds… LOL. It flew about three feet away and onto the floor! Completely off the table and almost underneath the couch. I was surprised how far it went but happy to find it. Lesson learned!

I just mostly do my paper cutting and die cutting beforehand so I’m mainly assembling during class.

I will probably watch the class, then make the card at a later time. ETA in the FB group, people mentioned having trouble printing the box card template. Catherine said she would contact CC Monday (today) to see if there was any tips to printing.

Okay. I'm feeling very overwhelmed right now. I just went through my box, made sure everything was there - compared everything in the box to the list they provided so I don't have to pay close attention at the unboxing. Everything was there, thankfully. Tried to put each Friday class into a large Ziploc bag with the class time on it, then remembered I had printed off the PDF instruction sheets - so added those to each bag. Read the PDFs to see what else I need - DANG! There are so many components to each class! I need magnetic sheets to put the dies on once I cut them apart. How many card bases are needed? What color inks? I very quickly got flustered and had to walk away. Friday is feeling like it's going to be a mess for me. The pace of a class every hour... I'm not sure I can do it. I should focus on the Saturday and Sunday classes first, I guess. Get those ready to go, and then decide which Friday classes I want to do. Am I overthinking this?? I don't want to be stressed out all weekend. I want to enjoy this. Definitely don't stress or that takes the joy out of the weekend. I'm not planning to do every card for every class. Just pick a handful of cards you want to complete on each day and focus on prepping for those classes. You can always go back and do the rest later. My goal for Friday is to have as much prep done (paper cutting and die cutting) for the Elle's Studio, Honey Bee, Scrapbook.com and Ranger classes so I can follow along and basically stamp and assemble. I haven't opened the paper package so I haven't see the CTMH pattern paper but from the pictures, it's not really my style. If I have a chance, I may swap out other paper in my stash and complete those cards. On Saturday, my goal is to complete the Gina K and Taylored Expressions cards so that's my prep focus. On Sunday, my goal is complete the C&9, Spellbinders and Hero Arts cards. Since the Spellbinders class is so die cut intensive, I plan to have everything die cut and assembled so can basically just glue it to a card front during class. While this is what I want to accomplish, if I don't, that's OK too. I took Monday off from work so if I'm not completely exhausted, I'll work on cards then. Or I just may be cleaning up my craft room. I also decided if I get frustrated or flustered, I'm just going to stop, sit back and watch. I already know coloring is not my thing so those classes are way down at the bottom of my list and I've made peace with that. PS about the inks.... I have all my inks swatched so using the instruction book, I eyeball my swatches to the pictures to get a color combo that works. I use the notes page in the book to write down the color/manufacturer so I remember what to pull out and use during class. If you don't have swatches, just use a color combo you like and run with that. Honestly, that's one of the things I like about looking thru the albums. I like seeing the different twists everyone puts on their cards. That way I get more ideas!

Spellbinders homework tips... - When assembling the arm without the bear, glue the red glove to the arm first, then clue the green trim
- When assembling the face and bear, it might be easier to color pink and black spots on white scrap cardstock for the eyes, cheeks and ears. It was a pain in the butt to glue individual tiny scraps of paper.
- For the white stripes on the pants, I used a white gel pen instead of the tiny die cuts.
- On the hat, the green spikes face up NOT down...guess how I know. I took me a couple hours to die cut and assemble all of the pieces.

I spent just about the entire day but think I have all the homework done. I re-worked the colors completely for two of the classes, so that added some time.
The exception is that Crafters Companion box card deal...I need to check and see if there was a new post about the template today.

***Defective Stamp Alert***
I'm working on my Concord & 9th homework and found that the Just Wanted To Say stamp is defective. The "ED" in wanted is defective and won't stamp correctly. I submitted a damaged report thru the Google form so we'll see what happens.
I know one of the other events, C&9 replaced defective stamps so hopefully they do the same again.

I had a defective C&9 stamp last year but I didn't bother to replace it, but I for sure will this time because it sucks having a defective stamp lol.

Yeah, I typically wouldn't bother either but it happens to be the one sentiment in the set that is universal and I really wanted to use. The good news is that I got an email last night that a replacement was sent. Hopefully it's a good one.

I'm supposed to go to an in person crop tonight and was going to take some of the homework but a friend who signed up will be there and she is not peeking until the box opening. I'll start the homework and condition stamps/cut dies apart tomorrow. Meanwhile, I've got to figure out what to take with me tonight.

Could some please help me find the prep videos for the Mama Elephant and Lawn Fawn classes? I think there is also some videos/prep stuff for the Friday classes as well?.... I haven't gotten to Friday at all yet.
It's all on me...I don't use FB at all, and have spent the last 20 minutes poking around and clicking into the various sub-categories across the top of the page just cannot find them. I'm sure they're somewhere that totally makes sense to everyone else, but not to me. Thanks so much!

The email we got on 9/6 has a link for #teampeek. Click on the link and enter the password. The webpage that pops up has links to 4 videos and all the Friday PDFs. There is only 1 video for Friday, it’s Crafters Companion.
