I just watching also. That way I can pick and choose what cards I really want to make. I have learned fun new tips from each of the teachers today, though.
So, what teacher/card is each of your favorites?

[quote\]I’m definitely going to add Versamark to my CTMH shopping cart - those papers go live tomorrow, and I also want to try their Harbor colored ink. I couldn’t find a color in my stash that wasn’t too bright. Have y’all used CTMH pads? What do you think of them?[/quote]
I'm living vicariously through you all this wknd.
I love CTMH inks. They are the ones I own. They are a felt top so don't get over juicy. Great quality stamped image and i love the neww magnet tops. Harbor is an amazingly deep colour. I use it a lot w mint, mink, linen, glacier

I really liked Simon Hurley's class - can't wait to try the foam when I have some time. I really liked the "plaid" background when he used the placemat. That class is the only one I managed to finish a card (only because I played with the lunar paste last night and it had time to dry LOL) MichyM, I have some CTMH ink pads that must be 10 years old, and they still stamp well. Off to get some dinner!

Thanks for the link azcrafty. I’m going to pass on this, as $45 can buy a lot of stuff.

Here are the two scrapbook.com cards I made. The rainbow card is ehh but I like the pink card...of course Sorry it's huge. I said do not resize?? Those turned out great! I have a small Altenew set of paper similar to your pink hello card. I might need to cardlift that one 😉 And I like that your daisies are going off the paper on your multi-colored card. Did you switch up the colors on that one too? As far as posting size, the default is not to resize. If you click into that drop down, I use the “resize for message boards” option.

It sounds like I missed a great day yesterday! I couldn't participate at all due to work and then travel issues with my son. Unfortunately his travel issues mean I can't participate on Sunday either! Oh well, at least I have today, and I can't wait. Tired but looking forward to it. I am definitely getting the Spellbinders Advent Calendar. I love Spellbinders, and I know designers like Yana Smakula will do amazing things it. My husband and son get Lego Calendars and I'll get this one - it's really not much more expensive than Lego, anyway, and so much more useful

Is it used by scrappers rather than card makers or have I just missed it, which is entirely possible? I’d always heard and read CASE: Copy and Share Everything, or the not as nice Copy and Steal Everything.

I'm pretty impressed with myself, I finished all 3 Gina K cards.
I realized I need some decent card bling, like sparkly diamond bling. Where do you get your card bling?

Especially love the snowflake stencil - my daughter said even the colors remind her of Frozen. we did get some Snowflake Pops of Color in the goodie bag. Did you try adding drops of that for sparkle?

OMG. The Mama Elephant cards are so stinking cute! The dies cut the images out perfectly. They are a lot of work, but sooo adorable!

I am really impressed with the Taylored Expressions stencil set! The ink colors I used were not the same as the ones she used, but both sets of cards turned out so colorful! And so easy to make! I'm hooked. I went ahead and ordered their Peaceful Pines quad stencil set! I think I'm going to sit out the next one - Lawn Fawn. My butt is sore from sitting in that chair all day LOL. How is everyone else doing? I'll try to post pics later!

I have not yet completed a single card. But, I enjoyed watching Gina with my coffee, and got through the techniques portion of Kristin and Taylor, so that’s a win (for me) in my opinion 😁 Don’t forget to hydrate girls. I literally didn’t have as much as a sip of water during the last class, yikes! If I’ve got the energy, I’ll circle back and try to do Gina’s cards start to finish this evening. Did anyone use a different color combo for those cards that you’re really pleased with? If so, please share! pinklady. I have so much bling. I mean SO much, I wish they came in even smaller packages. I’d love to send you an envelope with a few (ok, I’ll be honest, more than a few) different kinds if you’d like.

We need a 5 minute stretch in the middle of each class I also didn’t use Taylor’s colors and mine are pretty bright. Not 100% thrilled with it, but I loved the one she showed in the other color way and can’t wait to make another set. I’m going to peek at her site because I like these as well By the way, if anyone from the event wants to share some of the CTMH paper from yesterday, let me know and we can share the cost. I ordered a pack of it (along with the harbor ink pad) and their shipping costs are really high (in my opinion).

How is everyone else doing? I'll try to post pics later! I love the Taylored Expressions cards so much! I showed them to my son (age 22) and he asked if he could keep one, he likes them so much. It was really sweet. He's going back to school in Japan (from Canada) tomorrow so of course I'll write in one and give it to him in his carry-on. I guess we're just both super sentimental and emotional right now lol. He has packed up all of the cards I have given him over the past few years so he can have them in his dorm room. I like the Mama Elephant cards more than I thought I would. I think it's great to have a few Get Well Soon cards on hand, because when you need one you don't feel like making one, in my experience. I did the Gina K cards and like them, too, but I smudged the black silhouettes on both of those, so I'll redo them. My husband loves the one with the Santa and reindeer. I like the snowflake one - I added diamond gems to the snowflake, too. I'm also sitting out Lawn Fawn. I like the cards but I want to spend the evening with my son (and husband before we are empty nesters again tomorrow). Have fun tonight everyone! I'm sure the two Jens will be fabulous!

ETA: never mind, I just found it on her site and I can’t.
Oh, may I ask a newbie question? I’ve never even seen foiling in person.
In the TE class she brought up the additional foiling details which I really liked. Is that something I can use without a foiling machine and without a heat laminator? I don’t think so but I thought I’d ask. Thanks!

OMG, I'm exhausted! I got all the cards done for all 3 classes so far. I have far exceeded my expectations of myself. I'm not a color-er so we'll see how far I get into the Lawn Fawn class. My back is killing me and I'm so hungry, I've not eaten anything all day.

Last one for today. What was your favorite class? Surprisingly I loved the mama elephant one. Im not confident in my watercoloring and this showed me that it could be simple. I guess the YT videos I watch just over complicated and always intimate me. So I don't even try it. I can't wait to play more with the TE stencils.

Wow, watching Jennifer right now has me wishing to take the next 10 days off to create. How about you? Finishing the official cards can wait Though I’m afraid if I don’t get through them in the next week or two, I might never!
