Welcome to the table, gigito7! I am experimenting with carrot dogs tonight.  I saw this recipe a while back and have a bag of carrots that need to be used, so decided today was the day. The carrots were partially cooked, cooled and marinated before I went out to walk this morning. The marinade smells gorgeous, although for full disclosure, I subbed turmeric for the paprika and didn't add the maple syrup. I will be grilling Italian sausages for the guys, too, but can't wait to hear what they think of the carrot dogs. |

destined2bmom I hope your icing works and you can sleep tonight 🤞🏻 Daycare was closed for an in service today so I had to babysit. Then I had jewelry. Finished my bracelet and learned a few things to avoid next time. We are grilling kabobs at DD’s. Our front walkways literally line up with each other. My dh can’t believe how much this excites me. I’m going to be a little sad when our house is done. Sounds like a yummy recipe bc2ca. Report back please

I’ve tried to recreate but not quite the same. I use maple syrup for a natural sweetener but always in moderation. Hope your carrot dogs are good. |

We are having some sort of baked chicken with potatoes. We'll eat a bit earlier than usual so we can join SIL & BIL at the airport to pick up their DD/our niece, who has been serving overseas (Navy helicopter pilot!!) for 3 years. Can't wait to see her and welcome her back stateside!

But a carrot dog just doesn't cut it for me. I need to eat veggies as veggies. I can't pretend they are meat. Haha...😂 |

There is a little bit of pasta and meat sauce . There are some green and yellow beans and coleslaw I can make. Very easy. Tomorrow I am back to eating keto but Ivhad fun this weekend eating bagels and cheesecake and other stuff that was so delicious.

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary up in San Francisco. First hiking around Inspiration Point and then eating at a great little Italian restaurant. We ordered way too much food and it will be the only meal of the day! destined2bmom I hope icing and rest helps you recover quickly! |

Thank her for her service from us, please. I can't pretend they are meat. Haha...😂 I don't like any of the plant faux meat options, but love looking for new ways to serve vegetables.  We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary up in San Francisco. Happy Anniversary! Glad your back cooperated. These were seriously delicious carrots and so easy to make. DH had three before the sausages were off the grill and only DS ate his in a bun. Along with the sausage.   |
