Wow! I thought I wouldn’t like it from the exterior but the interior is gorgeous! I could happily move in.

I knew as soon as I saw it exactly were it was Dartmouth is a very special place for my family. My Dad was evacuated there in the war to live with his aunts and uncles and consequently often visited and we had many childhood holidays there. In fact one of my great aunt's house was up for sale a while ago and I cried because we couldn't afford to buy it. It was a Milly Molly Mandy house if you know what I mean. That house is so beautiful and what a position! A dream house for me too Maybe we could share?

It's WAAAAAAAYYYY too much house for me, personally, but I love the exterior and I love all the parts of the interior that still look old or that have really unique aspects to them. Although some of the newer more updated areas of the interior were a bit of a let down to me, but in all fairness I almost always feel that way about new renovations to older spaces. But man, that exterior! I am a sucker for stone, so I just love the look of the house outside.

I'll be the odd one out, I'd loved to holiday there but I wouldn't want to live there full time.

Beautiful location. Uncertain about the house itself.
In the listing, what does the symbol with the sofa mean and the number 3 after it? Does it have 3 living rooms?
I didn’t read the long description, but I don’t know if I like that room with the glass floor! Is that over the pool or river?

Pretty amazing engineering involved. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11137747/Home-thats-excavated-solid-rock-private-beach-goes-market-offers-5million.htmlETA the boathouse is original from the 1800's.

Oh Wow, that's gorgeous! That indoor pool looks like an old Roman bath. I'm totally in.

Breathtaking! I'd only want to own it if it came with a maintenance staff but I would happily live there as a tenant. That bedroom with the doors overlooking the water... Heaven. It looks like the kitchen floor has a bunch of hinged panels? What on earth? Is that storage or something in the floor?

It's beautiful. I had friends who lived in Kingswear for many years and had some magical holidays in Devon.

Oh wow, I love it!! And it's in one of my dream locations, along the south coast. That house is so beautiful and what a position! A dream house for me too Maybe we could share? I think there's room for both of us when phoenixcov buys it! I'm familiar with Milly Molly Mandy, but not a Milly Molly Mandy house.

I think there's room for both of us when phoenixcov buys it! I'm familiar with Milly Molly Mandy, but not a Milly Molly Mandy house. That's just my phrasing It just always made me think was the sort of house she would live in...higgledy piggledy and quaint. It was built in front of a steep hill so there were cows in the field practically outside my bedroom window And yes, I agree we could co-exist quite happily there. phoenixcov - please let us know when you're ready for visitors

Just give me a couple of weeks to settle in and organise a clubhouse and accommodation for visiting peas, then we will be ready to rumble.

phoenixcov - just to let you know we just sailed past this on the little ferry and it’s every bit as idyllic ‘in the flesh’ as it looks but it’s under offer so don’t hang around if you still want it! 😄
