How about an Alex and Ani bangle bracelet or something similar? About the right price and fits everyone.

Thanks for sharing your ideas sisterbdsq. I love the car wash coupon gift idea. And to OP, wine is a popular thing but not everyone drinks it. If I received it I'd regift it.

I wouldn't do any type of bath product or lotion or candles(not everyone likes scented things), or scarf (I don't know anyone who wears them) or gloves(how would you know what size to get?). I think wine or other alcohol is fine for most groups, maybe a basket with cheese and summer sausage and crackers, with or without the wine. Tupperware type things are pretty popular, as long as they are multi use. A basket of kitchen utensils - not necessarily the really common ones though- with a Kitchen towel in a neutral color. How can you be any more sure, or how can it be any more likely, that someone will like wine or other alcohol or cheeses than will like scented things. Both areas are just complete guesses in all honesty. That is very true. However, I personally know a lot more people who eat cheese/sausage/crackers and drink wine or other alcohol than I do people who like the specific scented lotions or candles that I might buy. I guess I was thinking that at least if the wine or cheese is not the type they prefer, they can still put it out for guests around the holidays, and not have any themselves. Scented soaps and lotions, not so easy to use if you don't like the scent. Anytime you do any sort of generic gift, it's a crap shoot. I was trying to come up with something that could still be useful no matter the recipient's personal preference.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I think I'll probably go with a gift card. It's the easiest route at this point.

See, I think wine is appropriate for this group because the OP knows them.... As opposed to a work exchange or teacher gift where I wouldn't do it. I might avoid it only because the OP did it last year... I wouldn't be thrilled with pink tools. It's like pink Lego and pink fisher price toys. Why do girls need pink? (I don't dislike pink...just find these marketing schemes to be sexist). i like consumable gifts for this type of thing. Either food or movie passes... I'd be just as happy to get a basket of Salsas or sauces as chocolate though as I feel we have so much sweet stuff already. Or I'd love a gift certificate for a local non-chain restaurant? (What's better than a nice lunch?)

I have a party to go to this weekend and I have to bring a gift too. We all said to buy something that we would like to receive ourselves so, I'm either going to get one of those gorgeous Stabucks Christmas mugs and put a gift card to Sephora or Nordstrom inside it. I would love to get a gift like that!! I would be so happy! LOL! I bought myself 2 of the starbucks mugs yesterday and they are fab! I like the shape because it keeps your coffee hotter longer and the handle fits the hand comfortably. Plus they are so cute!

I'm still thinking about this. Last year, the ladies fought for a corksicle that was packaged with a gorgeous, black, shimmery scarf. A couple of other gifts that kept getting stolen was an insulated wine carrier in a pretty floral pattern and a wire basket organizer thingy. Like something you would put on top of your kitchen counter and have fruit in it.

Once, my coworker and I (vegetarians) got boxes of meat for Christmas from a client. It had illustrations of pigs happily bounding through the field on it and everything. Such cute packaging! And then the inside of the box held their dead parts. There was no joy that Christmas.

Now that's a gift I'd like! You'd have loved this office because the gifts got passed around a lot. Salmon, summer sausage - all those gift baskety things we'd divvy up. Then there was the year of 1-800-live-lob (lobstergram) which traumatized an entire office of people...even lobster consumers. My tough, Cuban, hockey playing boss cried.

Those super soft plush blankets. I'm getting one for MIL. They are right in your price range. Sometimes less than $10.00 depending on how big you want it. Another favorite the chocolates. I also just picked up a the mixed truffles pack at Costco.
