Good luck!
I think for your interview be ready to sell yourself. I'm not familiar with preschool, I'm a high school teacher, but being familiar with what ever is the big thing going on educationally in the world of preschool would be good.

CONGRATS on your 2nd interview!! In my professional world, a second interview is typically a mix of introducing new interviewers (so some previous ground gets rehashed, but to a new audience) and also going more in depth with the candidate - both topically on their professional subject matter and personally (as in looking to see if the candidate is a good fit with the organization & team).

I would say a second interview is when you can talk about your philosophy regarding the job and see if they match up with the employer's philosophy. Ask about the things that are important to YOU! Good luck!

There is a chance that they are doing the 2nd interview to see if your licensure paperwork gets in. I know in my area, no license, no job and since everything is electronic they can see it online earlier than they used to be able to.
Have answers ready for any question they didn't ask before that is typically part of an I terview. They may give possible scenerios and want to know how you handle them. Are you cpr first aid certified....

Are you cpr first aid certified.... I am certified and that was part of the initial paperwork I sent in. I am thinking if I refresh my memory on the curriculum they are using, I have not used it in many years, and get familiar with the classes they currently offer I will be pretty prepared.

My experience with a second interview is they want some more in-depth information from you. The first interview is more general do you have what they are looking for? Do you present the image we want? I have also had a preliminary interview done by one person and a second one done by a panel. I think it is like a check this person out in the beginning and the panel is much more serious. Also I have been called back for a second interview when I am competing for a job where another applicant is very close to my job skills. They do a second interview on the both of us. Congrats on getting another interview, I think that sounds promising.

I am thinking if I refresh my memory on the curriculum they are using, I have not used it in many years, and get familiar with the classes they currently offer I will be pretty prepared. This, definitely this! If you can visit with others who have recently used the curriculum and ask what the positive and negative aspects are about. I don't know that pre-school has to worry about Common Core (I certainly hope not!), but you might what to review that for K, and 1st if it is used in your state. Thinking positive thoughts and saying prayers for you!

Good luck to you!
Since every school has a different system, it is difficult to predict what your second interview will be like. Mine was vastly less intense than the first interview. It was more about making sure I was a good match for the school culture than anything else. It was a discussion rather than a question/answer format.
I think you are right on track by researching the school and knowing the expectations.
