If I understand his babbling if he brings the price of gas down Putin will stop the war. Either he is as ignorant as he sounds or he’s not but knows those who worship him are.

Considering he is talking about trump, I do believe he said that. That is just so creepy. I think I remember this picture from years ago.

“ Opinion: How to prevent deadly wildfires? Stop fighting fires.”I understood it and I disagree. Here’s some facts from Sonoma, Napa & Lake counties. 2017 in a space of two days three separate fires started burning in Sonoma & Napa Counties. It took about three weeks to contain these fires. The Tubbs fire burned 37,807 acres. Destroyed 5,636 buildings. Majority were homes. There were 22 fatalities. The Atlas Fire burned 51,624 acres. Destroyed 1,355 buildings. There were 3 fatalities. The Pocket Fire burned 17,357 acres. Destroyed 6 buildings. There were no fatalities. This was three fires burning in relatively small area. In other words the three fires were separate but close to each other. Total acreage burned 91,168. Total buildings burned that were mostly homes 6,997. Sadly 25 people died. But wait there is more. In 2019 Sonoma County had the Kincade Fire. It burned a total acreage of 77,758 acres again in the northeast part of the county. 374 buildings burned and there were no fatalities. However after the Tubbs Fire the officials issued mandatory evacuation orders for 180,000 residents. And there is more… In 2020 there was the Glass fire burning again in the northeast part of the county again by Santa Rosa. And burning in parts of Napa County as well. This fire burned 67,484 acres and destroyed 1,555 buildings. No fatalities. So tell me, which of these fires should they have just let burn and making no attempt to stop it? Yes all these fires threaten and actually burned parts of towns and cities. That Tubbs fire literally took out entire neighborhoods in Santa Rosa as did the Glass Fire in 2020. There are very few wildfires at this point in time that are not impacting cities and towns someplace. So they can’t say oh just let them burn because it’s good for the forest. And yes Sonoma County is hardening areas that they can and doing controlled burns. But this is an agricultural county which means a lot of plants and trees and vineyards. What is happening here is playing out, with differences, across the state, the West and other parts of this country and the rest of the world. And very few areas can afford to let a wildfire burn. So yeah I disagree with that.

an example of an uncontrolled fire.. the Big Burn of 1910.. burn from washington state to montana,, where it was finally put out by snow.. over 200 people died.. our environment is too built up to "just let it burn".. and the heat is much higher than it was 100 yrs ago

No one is advocating to just let fires burn. The difference is management vs suppression. The Berkley article linked above news.berkeley.edu/2016/10/24/wildfire-management-vs-suppression-benefits-forest-and-watershed/ An unprecedented 40-year experiment in a 40,000-acre valley of Yosemite National Park strongly supports the idea that managing fire, rather than suppressing it, makes wilderness areas more resilient to fire, with the added benefit of increased water availability and resistance to drought.
After a three-year, on-the-ground assessment of the park’s Illilouette Creek basin, UC Berkeley researchers concluded that a strategy dating to 1973 of managing wildfires with minimal suppression and almost no preemptive, so-called prescribed burns has created a landscape more resistant to catastrophic fire, with more diverse vegetation and forest structure and increased water storage, mostly in the form of meadows in areas cleared by fires.
“When fire is not suppressed, you get all these benefits: increased stream flow, increased downstream water availability, increased soil moisture, which improves habitat for the plants within the watershed. And it increases the drought resistance of the remaining trees and also increases the fire resilience because you have created these natural firebreaks,” said Gabrielle Boisramé, a graduate student in UC Berkeley’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and first author of the study.

Another loss for former... According to a report from Reuters, investors who had planned to be a part of the new business entity behind Donald Trump's Truth Social media platform are bailing and taking their millions in their investment capital elsewhere. The SPAC that would tie Truth Social to Digital World Acquisition Corp has been buffeted with nothing but bad news for months after an FEC probe of the deal was announced, the Truth Social app was banned from Google Play and the enrollment on the site has stalled out despite Trump being the main attraction since he is banned on Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites. *** Reporting that "The deal between the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) and Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), which owns Truth Social, has been on ice due to civil and criminal probes into the circumstances around the agreement," the Reuters report added, "Digital World said it had received termination notices from private investment in public equity (PIPE) investors ending nearly $139 million in investments out of the $1 billion commitment it had previously announced." One investor reportedly delivered the biggest blow. "Sources told Reuters Sabby Management, which had committed $100 million to the PIPE, is one of the investors who have terminated," the report stated before adding that more investors are expected to withdraw in the coming weeks now that a Sept. 20 deadline has passed with little movement. www.rawstory.com/donald-trump-truth-social-2658332798/

So I looked up the people that they claim were murdered by capitol police. One was an officer, another was crushed, one had a stroke and another a heart attack. Only one was killed by police. So seriously how they can claim murder is beyond me. The only one that I would say that the claim was true was the police officer but it was by Trumpers. He had a stroke assuming from injuries sustained. They were intending to hurt him so …. Maybe the truth should be pointed out to these people saying they want the truth out there 🤦♀️ it’s sad anyone died but they went there with the intent to do stuff they shouldn’t have been doing.

So, it's a ok for a 49 yr old man to assault a 72 yr old, because 49 yr old seven kids are there?
Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) argued on Sunday that the Department of Justice went too far when it arrested a Catholic man in front of his seven children for assaulting an elderly abortion activist twice.
