They have claimed from day one, Jan 6th, that Pelosi was responsible for the lack of security at the Capitol when the 'peaceful tourists' visited.. Because in whatever time she has left after trying to keep the R's from destroying our democracy, she's also supposed to be the building manager for the Capitol, I guess. Yeesh. |

Select committee has issues with Eastman claiming privilege on some of his documents. The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on Congress wants a judge to do a review of 562 documents that they think were falsely described in privilege logs.According to the filing, the Jan. 6 Committee doesn't believe that attorney John Eastman's documents he indicated were "privileged" did fall under that category. They're asking for an on camera review of "(1) the validity of Dr. Eastman’s privilege assertions, (2) whether Dr. Eastman has waived any applicable privileges, and (3) whether Congressional Defendants’ compelling need and/or the crimefraud exception overcome any applicable privileges." They went on to say that the reason they want the review to be done on camera is that Eastman's lawyer has been "unreliable" in the past.As just one example, this Court previously addressed a photograph (Chapman025905, attached as Ex. A) that Dr. Eastman had described as a 'handwritten note re issued for anticipated litigation,' but which turned out to be a photograph of a Trump campaign rally with a handwritten note stating: 'TIMES 50 SUCH EVENTS – NO WAY THIS LOSES.'" If there was ever a lawsuit to toss this is it. I mean seriously “CNN, claiming the network is trying to short-circuit any future political campaign by the former president.” Look around to all the investigations going on involving him, that alone should prevent him running for president.

Yes, he’s a nutball and his running mate Matt Birk has taken too many hard hits to the head. I can’t even imagine the mess the school lavatories would be if there were litter boxes in them. Last year at my kid’s school after that stupid TikTok thing went viral, kids (mostly boys) were destroying the restrooms, stealing soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers off the walls. No one in their right minds would put kitty litter in the lavatories because some stupid kid would plug up all the toilets with it. |
