Took the day off from MIL apartment cleaning. My house is full of flowers that we picked up from the funeral home. I took all the arrangements apart and put them in vases so they didn't look like funeral flowers. It smells lovely in my livingroom.
Supper tonight was leftover over grilled steak and salad.

Well, it is dinner time and I don’t know what’s for dinner yet. I was going to make chicken soup (I know, weird in this heat), but I still haven’t started it. My guess is I’ll end up running out for fast food. I’ll cook zucchini again, too, as he asks for it every day.  Have a good weekend, all, and if you’re in California (or anywhere else having a heat wave) stay cool and hydrated! |

Happy Friday!
The only restaurant near the lake reopened after a year remodel and new owner. Still nothing great We shared nachos and I had a salad.
I’m on the pre-colonoscopy diet tomorrow. I have one next week so nothing great to eat all weekend. Hopefully I don’t get Covid before then. They’re still testing.

leannec congrats on the offer!!! Today we went to Half Moon Bay for the day. Had a wonderful risotto with asparagus, peas and mushrooms with grilled salmon. Tonight we are having gelato and watching an oldie To Catch a Thief. Grace Kelly was so lovely. teddyw good for you doing the test. Being a frequent flyer of the test you have my empathy but it's so worth while. I highly recommend chilling the solution, drinking it with a straw, sometimes add crystal light and suck on lemon wedges if needed. The newer solutions are so much better.
